I saw this mod thanks to the FTB "What's new in modding?" thread. I'm really glad to have seen it, too, because this looks really cool. Good luck with making progress!
Just had a few more ideas: Iron Plank recipe for Iron Door (to make it cheaper), and Gold/Diamond Doors made from their material, OR the planks like the Iron Door.
The Gold and Diamond Doors would work like the Iron one, except Gold works only with a high-signal and Diamond with a low-signal.
I'm not 100% happy with the alignment on some of these textures but this is satisfactory. Here's a screenie of the Transformer and the TreeStation. Not sure what the Transformer is supposed to be since it's made of iron but I decided to keep with the organic theme by having a mutagenic slimeball

Great idea for the transformer! Maybe the recipe could be 1 slimeball surrounded by (clockwise from the top) 1 coal, 1 iron, 1 gold, and 1 diamond.
(Pretend the bowl is a slimeball.)
I also think it would be cool to add planks based on the ore, like Iron Planks which are white, Golden Planks, and Diamond Planks.
Maybe even make the planks have different fuel powers based on the type! I can think of a lot of ideas from this.

Ok, 1.8/snapshots have had a lot more effort put into the model files, Hopefully before a release they allow every block to be edited. I should be able to create actual 3D versions of the models. Although this will be limited to the default texture pack. I believe my mod will be obsolete once 1.8 comes out and Resource pack artists do there work with the new model files.
Yep, New updates have proven that this mod will die with 1.8.. we had a short run! but in the end of the day we have had something similar add'd to vanilla! I may work on another mod at some point, but in the meantime this mod will no longer be updated. Thanks for believing in it!

I know there are tons of new people playing Minecraft, but many of us oldies would know everything about mine craft and literally not need this app. Plus, many of the new guys just watch the oldies play and learn from them.
Well, now there's a goal in Pocket Edition: Find diamonds and make tools out of them. Next, Kaplan and his team should try to add food (if he can), a mini-nether which is cave as big as the over world, and Flint and Steel, of course.

Whenever I make changes to a shader file, mainly the vibrant ones because if the FPS fix thing, it just gives me the shader-less look.
