    2- House!

    Got my house guidelines up:

Its just going to be your standard house, nothing too special.....

The walls have been built! This took about 4 stacks of planks.....

I've gotten the roof up (almost) too, took a ****ton of stairs....

    Finished product of the roof....

I added a crafting table, a furnace and a smooth granite floor. I also went caving and came back with a few stacks of cobble and some iron

posted a message on [POLL] Should I build my house inside an Extreme Hills mountain, or should I make an Epic-Looking mansion outside? [POLL]
^^^^ Yep. Make the entrance, lobby, living room where your pets play, and everything else house on the outside, then make some doors connected to the house (Not a gap, just like house-through a door- your in the mountain) and that'll be your utility- Crafting Tables, Furnaces, Brewing Stands, ect.

Hello, I will be starting a journal series. Hope you guys like it. ALL NEXT JOURNAL ENTRIES WILL BE IN THE COMMENTS UNTIL I FIND OUT HOW TO ADD MULTIPLE SPOILERS!

    1- Starting off (Plans)
I had just spawned in to my world in a plains biome. I looked around me, and I saw something that amazed me. I turned around and saw a roofed forest (My favourite wood), a birch forest, a mountain biome with spruce trees and a oak forest. I had gotten plans:

    • The Roofed Forest was going to be the place where my house is
    • The Mountain Biome would have the iron farm on it
    • The Plains Biome would have all your regular everyday farms, potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, wheat, melons, sugar cane, all that good stuff
    • The Regular Forest would have the mob farm
    • If I find a swamp, then Slime Farm here I come, due to the uses of slimes now (Leads, Slime Blocks, ect._
    • Jungle= Ocelots
Also, if you are wondering about the texture pack, its R3D Craft default HD.

I haven't started on my house yet, but it'll be in the next update :D

    Basically.
PvP servers can just not use Crossbows. It's kinda simple. Also, as the OP very well stated:
"It also has less durability than a bow." Which could be 199 uses. It's one less use, but still less. Annnnd would probably run out of arrows fast. Unless you had infinity.

What I meant was like 50 uses...

    Water Touch:
Dirt hoed will automatically be hydrated. It can still run out of hydration though, so you have to run and find water.
    Goes up to level 1.

    TNT Enchantments

Shortfuse: Shortens the fuse by 30% each level. Up to level 3

Gunpowder: Makes the explosion 20% more powerful each level. Up to level 4

posted a message on The Detailed Crossbow- Not one of those "gooby crossbw pls" threads.
    Welcome to the Crossbow thread.

Crossbows are crafted shapelessly with a bow, 1 button and a piece of redstone dust. Crossbows use arrows each fire. Right clicking instantly sends out a arrow, like a bow. However, you don't have to charge, as it does the same damage as a fully charged bow all the time, and it does not slow you down when you shoot. It has the same range too. HOWEVER, the arrow goes 70% slower than a normal fully charged bow. It also has less durability than a normal bow.

    Enchantments:
Flame: Same as the normal bow
Electricity: (lvls 1-2) arrows go 20% faster each level.
    Punch: Same as normal bow
Spreadshot: (lvls 1-3) Spreads 2 arrows each shot. Requires the amount of arrows to use it, though. Each level adds 1 more arrow to the spread.

posted a message on Dirt Slabs generating naturally
This is a pretty small suggestion, but here we go. Dirt Slabs would be found on hills, flattening out the terrain so you can climb hills without having to spam the space bar. They also come in Grassy and Coarse variants. They could also be crafted with 3 Grass Block/Dirt/Coarse Dirt.

posted a message on Mob Sieges- Teamworking mobs and more! (HardCore)
    Quote from pinsMaster»
This is a great idea! I would love having mobs team up to take down a well-protected fortress. However, your current ideas are a bit exploitable:

What if I put a block in front of the door? Have I effectively stopped the siege?

    And if there isn't one?

What if there isn't an entrance from above?

What if my house is only two blocks high, so the Endermen can't teleport in?

Which would be fine, because none of those things could get in because of the above. ;)

Also, it could be a bit tricky to detect a player's "house." What if they use a fence gate, or a piston door? Then their house is not considered a house, and they are never sieged. I think a better idea would be for the monsters to look for non-naturally generated light sources (i.e. ones placed by the player). This way, the only way to get away from these sieges would be to have a dark house, which would incur other problems.

The max size of a house that would get sieged was a 5x3 building with atleast 1 door. Since it would be atleast 3 blocks tall endermen could get in. These are very rare, so do you want a nice house or a 00.1% chance of being sieged?

posted a message on Enderman Lore
Endermen are very special creatures. But what is their orgin?

Once, 3 players were exploring a cave. They found a strange substance called "Endernitrogeonium". They mined it, and they observed the mineral. They had stared at the mineral too long, and the mineral started glowing purple. Suddenly, the 3 players were sucked in to the mineral quickly and put back out. They had lost some knowledge, and forgot how to mine, craft, and even farm. While trying to do that, they had tried to do them, but only resulted in them wandering around with a block in hand. They had a pearl instead of a heart, that was pumping liquid through their bodies, giving them the ability to teleport. They started reproducing, making more of these creatures. There was so many that 50 of them huddeled together and used the energy that was coming out of them to form a new dimension infested with the creatures. Some of them helped to make a dragon guard in the dimension, while others made cystals to heal it. The pearls that drop off of them when killed aren't actually the original pearl, its actually a pearl fragment. Those things only can teleport the user to its landing location after thrown and don't give infinite teleportation. When combined with heat, the ender pearl fragments create ender eyes, which are used to locate the end portals. On the topic of eyes, the reason the ender eyes locate the end is because the endermen use their eyes to locate the entrance to the dimension. The Endermen don't like people knowing the secret, so they get really angry whenever people look straight at their eyes.
