no idea if its possible or not, but what if the earth dragon could transform into some blocks?

like, you select a power, use it, and you get replaced with solid blocks that people can step on/mine (minign the blocks damages you, but as long as one block is left you will survive?
like, if you are being chased by people/laying a trap, you dig a hole, stand it in, use the power, and nobody notices you..

That would be a good idea,if the coder hadn't already told me that he didn't want to spend time making the dragons better.

I like the Eagle Dragon, he has character. He may not look like a dragon, but he is fun because he flies a little faster (as long as its not raining).

But hey, I'm the coder of the mod, the one that doesn't want to spend days and weeks working on rendering the dragons better :)

And that character is an owl. Also, you do realize that the job of a coder is to work on the mod to the best of his/her ability, right?

For now the models are final. At some point (when we get a coder who is good at rendering and animating) we will redo the rendering and animations.

Yes. Using the staff you can change in between human and dragon.

Well,if you get someone, you should probably change the Eagle Dragon model. It currently looks like a giant owl,and it is more of a Roc than a dragon.

This seems like a really good mod and I can't wait until it is complete. One question though;are the models final?

also,is there a way to change between human and dragon?

    What is a tribble?

I'm inclined to go with what frog suggested. Hell biomes.

What is everyone's problem with testificates? They're flipping amazing and I'm totally sick of mods that try to replace them with humans and junk. Testificates are wonderful, and if you disagree, you clearly haven't watched enough element animation yet. If you think that a spongebob reference makes making fun of the way a type of people looks okay, then you are both wrong and racist.

    1. No. How the heck would you befriend it then? If they're just hostile, there's no point in even making them villagery, and if they're not then it would take some serious AI weirdness to befriend them. Offering them a skull/head of an animal/mob/player maybe? :\
    2. vauge much?

    3. vauge much?

    4. Okay, what about the day? Do they just let burning zombies walk in?
    5. Who said anything about a shield?

I know its really not my place to say,but you need to work on how you phrase things. The way you are replying to some people sounds really rude. I don't know if that is your intention or not,but try to be a little more understanding of other people's opinions.

Maybe I'll do something like this eventually. It won't be in jungles, though.

Yeah, fire and jungles are two things that do not mix well. Although I think instead of a wyvern,it would look better as a pheonix. It would make more sense considering its abilities.

Oh, definitely! In time, I'll make one.

The primary attack does already. When I tried to apply it to the cleave attack, it broke the functionality.

That's a bit too silly for what I'm looking for. Sorry.

I like how, unlike some mod creators, you share your stuff before it is implemented and you read and respond to our comments. I'm always on the edge of my seat looking forward to the next sneak peek or release.

What Minecraft version are you playing for starts -- that actually makes a big difference in how to install the mod,

(For 1.6.4 you unzip the zip file and find the mod and configs inside. For 1.7 or 1.8 just drop it in the mods folder.)

I need to know more -- like did the themes install in the config folder -- in newer version no theme mean no dungeons.

The first thing you should do is go to config/DLDungeonsJBG/DLDungeonsJBG.cfg and set buildpole and easy find to true and MinChunkXY to 0, start a creative world and fly around to see if they really generating or not. They may just be hidden.

If you want lots of easy to find dungeons set EasyFind to true, MinXY to 0, and FrequencyScale to 5 or 6; this will allow them to appear closer to spawn and make sure they are common and not hidden.

I'm playing 1.7.10,the themes are in the config.I couldn't find any in creative, mainly because I have no idea what they look like. I can't find anything that looks like a dungeon.

Not at all. In fact, I might not make some of them and I might make some that aren't on the list.

I'll look into this right away, thanks.

    1. I can't make them connect to caves. I simply don't have a clue how. For the record, they are as common as vanilla dungeons.

    2. The pause after damaging cannot be fixed, I tried. I don't think it's severe enough to be a problem though.

    3. What?? No drops? I set it to 100% drop rate for both items! I'll take a look.

    4. I can't override player animations without causing incompatibilities with a ton of mods.

    5. Whoops. Easy fix.

    6. Just deal with left clicking. Does it really matter?

It works differently. Switching to it will take a lot of work and might not retain the same functionality.

Again, that sounds much more annoying than fun... It's like "Server Lag: The Mob!".

What mob do you think you'll make next?
