    DOESN'T WORK

Still unhelpful, with 100% more apostrophes.

Sorry, awards are given out only once a page. Instead, you can have Honorable Mention. Made me chuckle. Seriously though, if you don't detail what you tried or what was in the error log, no one can help you.

    Any idea whats going on.?
I added a pause so i could copy and paste the error im getting for SMP.

I had this running with bukkit but now I just want to run it on a vanilla server. meaning no mods.

    C:\Users\Raven\Desktop\Biome Minecraft Server>java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp Biome
    TerrainMod_SMP_v11_2.jar;minecraft_server.jar net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServ
    er
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.VerifyError: (class: id, method: d signatur
e: ()Ljavax/swing/JComponent;) Incompatible argument to function
    at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.main(SourceFile:507)

    C:\Users\Raven\Desktop\Biome Minecraft Server>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

Not sure what other info you would need. I did a fresh install of the server all from scratch.

    thanks.

Ok, I've submitted a request to the mods that this thread be locked until Bucyruss returns (if and when that happens; hope he's alright, given his last post 2 months ago mentioned he was ill). R-T-B has taken it upon himself to continue updating the mod in Bucyruss' absence, and his effort can be followed in the new thread he started here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=136843

    I AM NOT SPAMMING!!!!!!!

    Read Before Posting.
    viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3862
    DON'T:
Spam - TL;DR, +/-1, one word responses, memes, imageposts, doubleposts, etc.
Post Redundant Threads - Be aware of other threads in the forum, and don't duplicate (see "Use Seach" above).
Bump Threads - Do not bump your own threads to get more replies or older threads that have dropped off unless there is significant new information to add. Necrothreadia is preventable disease: let the dead lie.

Yes. Yes you are, and being an ass about it.

The fact that you waited 3 whole minutes after starting this thread before complaining about no one commenting on the mod is impressive, and not in a good way. I think that's a new time record. Bonus reverse-points for STILL not having any screenshots, a video of the mod in action (given it seems to be a sound mod, a video is preferable to a screenshot...) or even just clear install instructions: "of course use soundmod or whatever it is lol." *facepalm* If you're going to have dependencies on other mods or programs, have the wherewithal to get their names right instead of posting sloppiness like that bit I quoted there.

One thing Bucyruss managed to put into his tree code was the decapitation of trees, as in the code looks to see if a tree it's about to generate is going to be decapitated by the map height limit and decides whether or not that tree is appropriate at that altitude. In terms of gameplay it does nothing, but visually this make a big difference.

Hey, good to hear you're feeling better and still willing to work on keeping this mod alive. Good luck with the trees. :smile.gif:

I don't want to be perceived as an indiscriminating enthusiast, but I think it's great and I really hope it won't be forgotten by people.
I doubt I'll be using it on a daily basis due to the fact that I prefer to create everything by hand, but it can be a really useful thing for people who want to create something great-looking but don't feel like spending days or weeks to do so.

    @Nadine:
Would you be so kind as to change the title to be a little less painful to read (the main offender is Caps Lock)?
I suggest something along the lines of "[MAPPING] Rendering models in Minecraft"; you can add something along the lines of "great", "grand" or "awesome" if you want to.

Except if I'm reading it right, you DO have to build those things by hand. The program being presented here doesn't build it for you in-game, it just takes a 3D model, converts it into voxels, then shows you how to go about building it layer by layer for yourself. You still have to do the digital manual labor in-game and can take days or weeks to do so.

And yeah, the thread title needs to be toned down a few, er... :iapprove: es. It's a cool find of a program and we're glad you shared it, but don't cheapen it with an obnoxious thread title.

Mods, for the love of God, lock this thread already. If and when Bucyruss returns, he can decide to continue (and we would love for him to do so) but this thread necromancy has got to stop.

Change your OP to include ^this and your thread title to be less deceptive (you weren't looking for a tutorial at all, you were looking for a specific bit of help in coding) and you may get the help you're looking for.
