I would strongly recommend adding a gas mask to protect from suffocation and blindness resulting from gas exposure. The Idea is that it would degrade very slowly when exposed to gas, and when "broken", would have to be repaired with a filter to be used again.

Also, some means of protection from corrosive and electric gases, such as a gas cape, as well as items such as poison gas canister grenades would both be very useful.
I think you just have to make the model, then find it in your computer's file system. Or maybe you can save it to your desktop. That should make it easier to find.
I know you need it, I have it, but how do you out it in Flans?
You need to go into the "models" folder, then to "co" then "uk" then "flansmods" then "client" then "model" you place the model data in the second models folder with the name "Model<item name here>. Then place the texture in the skins folder and give it the same name as the bullet model. Next, you go to the ammo type that will be using the model, and type "Model <itemname here>" (I use notepad to open the weapon files), and in the line under the model name type " Texture <name of the skin you will be using>. Flan also has some tutorials in the OP. Hope this helps.
I've noticed that the Daleks and Cybermen in this mod are extremely vulnerable to gunfire (and arrows). To make them more of a challenge to fight, I would recommend giving the Daleks 50 health and the armor rating of diamond armor, and giving the Cybermen 40 health and the armor rating of iron armor, as well some form of ranged weapon. I read in some of the earlier posts that this mod uses IC2 items and energy, so I though of this: some kind of weapon capable of draining quantum armor's charge, so that you can't just walk around unharmed with 10 or so other people attacking you. Maybe a gun with iridium bullets or an upgraded Nano Saber could fill this role. Anyways, mod looks good so far. Just thought I'd offer a suggestion.
