O.k. I got this idea a few weeks ago after I heard absinthe referred to in a book. Right now it is a work in progress, and still in it's early stages, so no screenshots T_T. But the main idea of the mod will be to make absinthe, an alcoholic drink that induces hallucinations and was known for inspiring many artists in the 18th century (I think?). The absinthe will cause you to see the nether portal effect where your screen swirls with the purple changed to green and the only way to end the effect is by waiting it out. Keep in mind, I know very little about absinthe and only a little more about modding. Ideas, thoughts, support, and corrections are appreciated. You need to obtain the herbs first in order to meet the green fairy :blink.gif: . Wormwood will be Dandelions. Hyssop, mint, coriander, cloves, nutmeg and calamus root will be replaced by leaf blocks and fennel seeds will be wheat seeds. Anything you didn't understand will probably be explained below
Recipes:
Boiling Water will be a bucket of water placed in a furnace.
Bottle: = Bottle
Ever-clear: = Ever-clear, where is Boiling Water,
Bottle of Undistilled Absinthe: = Undistilled Absinthe, where is Ever-clear and is a Bottle
To Distill Absinthe:
(O.k. I know the idea is terrible right now but please please tell me if you get a good idea) = Absinthe, where is Undistilled Absinthe, and is Ever-clear.
Now, you have Absinthe. But Absinthe in this form is potentially dangerous, so it will deal 20 hearts damage! That, and it will catch you on fire. We don't want this to happen, so we are going to mix it with water to make it safe. To mix Absinthe with water, use the design for a watch, but replace the gold with water buckets, the redstone with the bottle of Absinthe, and the empty spaces with sugar. And there you have it! You have just made yourself a bottle of mind-warping, thought-bending, 10-heart-healing Absinthe.
Hey I'm kinda new to modding, but this looks like it'll be fun and easy. Just a few questions. Does the mod need to be compatible with anything? Does it have to flatten an area or can it just be a huge TNT explosion? And do you want it to have the TNT skin? All I need to know.
I think that this is already the pinnacle of amazing mods, but I have a recommendation that would make this mod truly awesome. Making the planes completely customizable, so if you wanted to use the machine gun wing with the second seat, you could make your plane like that, to have custom planes without the Planes API stuff, and also to make the planes color customizable too, using something similar to the biomes to match the color of the dye
