WHAT IS IT? It's a let's play with myself and my Sushigummy. We try out some of the custom maps that are lying around the forum and have a blast doing it. (Literally, creepers all around)
WHY SHOULD I CARE?! Don't mistake us for another Let's Play. We try to keep things as interesting as possible or we cut it out. We wont waste your time with tutorials or building a mega object in real time. Plus we try to make it as funny as possible.
1. What happened to the sky? Every map I load is really foggy and you can't see the sun or moon. Is this an update or is there a way to fix that? I like being able to see where the sun and moon are in case I'm caught outside.
You might want to turn on your render distance to Normal or far. Which ever works better for your computer.
2. Is there a way to determine what sound goes with what? I've heard that some of the sounds you hear in the game are warnings for cave systems, monster spawners, etc etc. Is there a website or does someone know how to determine what from what?
You can tell which sound goes to what. I'm assuming your talking about the ambient noises that pop up time to time. Those are are in for spooks and screams, which is to make the game more 'fun'.
3. Where is the best place to look for diamond? Red Ore? I know each map is random, but if someone had a general idea where it might be located, that would be greatly appreciated.
Look for a really big cave. Some of them lead all the way to the bottom of the map. Caves are nice because it's dug out for you. All you have to do is go around and dig out the resources and fight the occasional mob. Of course strip mining the bottom layer and digging out isn't a bad idea either (but it gets boring really quickly).
4. To form obsideon, you put a water source next to a lava source correct? Forming enough obsideon blocks will create a portal to the nether correct? And can you just put lava and water in a bucket and put them next to each other to form the obsideon?
Yes. You can pick up your lava. Mold the lava, then pour water on it. It's a lot faster to make portals this way.
