Hmm, didn't exactly change any of my frames (maybe 5-10?). It's good news to hear that some people are getting improvements to the game. Perhaps I can finally play with my technology impaired friend to play on my server without any problems.
Honestly, I have no idea just how much work goes into a game. I bet there is a ton of things that are happening behind the scenes that only the Mojang team only know. I'm glad that Notch doesn't just let every single thing into the game. He carefully selects features that would be fun in the game. When he does add it, they seem to work well for the most time.
I would keep the system of selecting ideas the same as it is now.
OP, like too many other people, is far too concerned with how other people choose to play their own game.
This.
I don't use mods because minecraft doesn't support modding at this moment. Installing them is a hassle with each update and sometimes even conflict with each other.
Minecraft to me has always been about exploring, building small forts, and just surviving the various creatures. I don't like to build massive objects, and I don't like to live at any one fort for a long time. Plus seeing how the game can change with a single update, I can never call one world home (I constantly make new ones). If I was going to use a mod, it probably be ones that I subtly don't notice. Like seasons, or changing cart speeds, or something that doesn't necessary interfere of what I already enjoy in minecraft. I could never use invedit because it would just spoil the value of the blocks. Mo creatures are nice, but I don't exactly want to grow used to them and have the update ruin them again.
I know modding is going to be important part of minecraft after the main release (I know I'll be making a few). Yet, because it is beta, I'm enjoying the game as is (and it's still fun).
Wait, OP, how do you know the dogs will be useless?
Wait, how do you know the dogs will be useful? All you have are some vague statements from Twitter. The AI in minecraft isn't the best thing in the world.
For instance, this guy's either a troll or the worst sarcasm detector ever.
Ye gods, just because trolls say the opposite of what they think doesn't mean that everyone who uses sarcasm is a troll. Is everyone here just so used to dealing with "i saw white eye person in game who is herobrin" that they've completely forgotten about ordinary sarcasm?
Don't use a red hearing to hide your lies. Trolls aren't just making a post that goes against popular opinion. A real troll just wants to see a reaction out of you by any means. Seeing how just about the majority of the posters on this forum freak out over a little satire, it's not hard to troll on these forums. Of course when you want to speak out against the community, it could be taken the wrong way if you don't handle the situation properly.
74. You can take blocks

77. You can walk on blocks
76. You can combine blocks for more blocks
77. You can destroy blocks with other blocks
78. You can create blocks using other blocks
79. The earth is a giant block
80. The moon is a gaint block
81. The sun is a giant block
82. The entire game is made out of a giant block
83. The game is a block of code
84. It's a block
oh. my. god. Am I right in thinking the minecraft community is the most easily trolled ever?
Yes. Considering that a majority of the posters like to freak out when minecraft is under a tiny little criticism (even if it is satire). Heck we get someone who freaks out over the Land Over Baptist article almost every week.
I don't about you guys, but I thought the review was legit. The video provides a lot points that I thought were true.
Minecraft needs to fix the block punching, and peace offerings. Also the graphics need to be better because call of duty is got the blood and dirt and realism and its better than minecraft. So stop whining and just admit it being right.
Hey Criswell, my friend and I downloaded and played your map about a month ago as our first lp (version 1.2). The videos are done, but we're still editing and uploading our adventures. Now that we have about an hour on youtube, I figure you might want to see us dest- I mean explore your map.
You're an iron miner, and yet you behave like a baby. Quit whining and accept the fact that wolves are added into the game. You also get the ability to set your spawn point by sleeping, and some other things.
Your an iron miner. Quit whining and misinterpreting my opinions on the subject. I never said I didn't want this in the game, I said I wouldn't use it. You make it sound like I'm opposed to this, which is not the point I'm trying to make. I'm saying that the dogs are useless.
Always do 1x2 mines and space them out by 2. Then dig the layer above it, by shifting the mines by 1 block. This way you can see most of the materials in as little time. Digging 2x2 shafts waste time.

I be careful of what you say. The school might learn of your threat and get you banned from school.
Not funny.

The map is really cool and we're glad to have tried out as our first map.

Two completely different ideas.
