If you want to follow updates, discord is about the only place I'm at, so you're free to come there. Maybe if there is a revitalization of these forums, I'll go back to posting here, but it doesn't look likely.

The Awakening update is now live! Featuring the Awakening mechanic, the return of equipment for digimon, and some much needed TLC to Jogressing.
Changelogs can be found in the usual places on Discord and CurseForge.

In case you missed it, Digimobs for 1.12.2 was released last week. And a bug fix was just uploaded today. You can find changelogs on the download page, and also our discord. It is not. I would suggest joining our discord. I have went in depth on the current way to use the v-pets in it. Basically the way they work now is a temporary fix to prevent you from losing digimon to server-side lag until the mod rewrite is complete. But again, all of that is in the discord.

Yes, we finally moved from the WIP Page! This will now serve as the "Hub" of the Minecraft Digimobs Mod. If you want to find me personally to talk to, I will usually be lurking around our twitter page and/or discord. So come check those out as well.
Q. How Do I..
A. Stop right there. Your best bet is to
use the wiki, as 99% of the information contained on it is up to date.
It saves everyone from having to answer the same repeated questions over
and over again by taking a few minutes to check out the Wiki.
Q. When will you get rid of the block models and make a Pixelmon clone??
A. Never. This mod is for block game,
this mod will remain blocky. The fanciest you will ever see our models
will be the ones made by SuperFuzzyGoat. And even those are still
entirely made of blocks. We aren't Pixelmon, and we won't ever aim to

Things are going to be changed and adjusted constantly until I am
happy, and the majority of the users are happy with the product. You can

You have dedicated so much to this mod and this community and half of them have no idea to what extent.
Keep your chin up or your head down or whatever it is you need to do to get your self feeling better.

Cyan_the_Azure, I can happily confirm that Optifine is now working perfectly, I have no idea what was going on before.But anyways, Thank you Cyan for all your hard work for this mod.
Edit: Did find the cause of the crashing, it's just that when I use a Shader Pack it tends to crash.
Thanks for all the positive thoughts. It's a refreshing change. But to answer the questions here, no one here was really causing my stress. It was more of the people on other platforms who would post, have their post deleted, and then proceed to post it over and over again as if it would get them any answers faster.
Just decided it be easier to make an announcement here. Also, yeah, Shaders don't play well with 90% of 1.10.2 mods. Supposedly the shaders mod author did some dirty coding that doesn't play well with Forge? Not something that I can really help.
That being said- I'm back with a little more sleep than I had last week, with an actual working version.
Of note, one of the issues with the last version is that there are actually getting to be too many items in the game. I've set out to begin revamping items, which I've outlined in the changelogs. tl;dr is that digivices on old worlds will be deleted.
Digimobs 0.9.9 Pre-Release I
-Language files will be added and updated in the next pre-release
-The mod has expanded to a point where it does not play well with other bigger mods. Starting with this mod, we will be redoing items to help accommodate with other mod compatibility, which will unfortunately delete any of the old item versions. We will slowly be phasing these out.
This update, all digivices have been deleted, so you may need to craft news ones.
-Added ambient sounds to all baby digimon
-Several digimon have gained the ability to be flown
-Fixed an issue with tamed and flying digimon taking fall damage
-Adjustments to riding:
Overall speed reduced so that servers will not read them as bugged entities and remove them while riding too fast
You can now float in midair without falling
-New digimon added:
Ultimate: AeroVeedramon, ???, ???
Champion: Veedramon, Veedramon(Red), Veedramon(Virus), Gatomon, BlackGatomon,Mikemon
-Eggs are now immune to fire.
-Added a "Flying Wander" to certain digimon
-Added a beta "Interaction" AI
-Began fixes to equipment stats.
-TorikaraBallmon has been upgraded from a Baby digimon to an In-training digimon.
-Slabs have been re-added for various blocks. Also new slabs.
-Stairs have been re-added for various blocks. Also new stairs.
-Added new plantable seeds
-The Digimon Adventure era Digivices have been updated to 64x64 textures.
-All Digivices have been recoded, and so old digivices will be deleted upon restarting old worlds
-Began adding more items for the future
-Added new foods! Perhaps crafting these will be beneficial for your digimon
-Bytes will now give a small percentage of stat exp when used.
-Stat bonuses may not show up in the GUI when re-logging in, or when taking a digimon out of a v-pet. Open their inventory to fix this issue.

So here's an update on the status of things right now, mostly because I can't seem to get any peace to actually work on issues from (primarily the technic crowd) blowing up the comments of the modpack and spamming in hopes of getting an answer.
For some reason, there is a rather critical issue with the world saving in this new update. This is something that has not shown up in the workspace that I test the mod in. It's not something that's giving any relevant error reports to fix. This is not something that I could have had any foresight into figuring out until it was actually released.
I don't really have the time right now to spend days and hours on end playing guessing games to figure out why this is happening, and quite frankly I don't have the passion or motivation to do so. Something between "SURPRISE, ERRORS!" and waking up to 20 messages from the same 4 people asking why they can't download the modpack has me a little apathetic.
I'll be reverting the download link, the modpack, and the server back to 0.9.8f. I'll let everyone know when the pre-release will be back up for download, but for now I think I'll go back to taking a break.

On a side note to everyone else:
It would seem some people are getting issues with an error popping up about running a back up of level.dat, etc etc etc.
Running your world anyway appears to not yield any errors, so it should be safe. There however,seems to be a couple of server side-only errors occuring, so expect a good ole' fashioned bug update sometime Thursday.

Optifine works just fine with Digimobs. Perhaps whatever version you are using is non-compatible, but the mod itself works just fine.

Yes yes, several days late.
Changelog will be added to our forum and curseforge in the morning.
Couple of things of note:
1. There are definitely a lot of bugs that are going to pop up this update, so please post any that you see.
2. You can expect more pre-releases probably. This update is only about 20% of the content I had originally planned for 0.9.9
