I especially dislike the students who try to make you look like an idiot becuase of your interests.

"its okay to make fun of people for their interests, as long as it isnt me"

    The students are all imbeciles.

say what you want, but with that attitude, they are probably enjoying themselves more than you are

Unnghhhhhh... it irritates me to no end when people say this

As for the question, I tend to listen to hip hop more than I do country, but I do have my fair share of both genres. You can't really say one genre is better than another genre.

EDIT: This thread is half a year old.

But that's what those people usually use this motto for.

Did I not just address this? This has absolutely nothing to do with "YOLO", it's an issue with the people.

What? Reckless people are going to do reckless things; whether or not they say "YOLO" doesn't change anything.

Post the poem as a pastebin link or something.

Please don't do this. Just return it to whoever owns it. I find it kind of disturbing that the first course of action on your mind was to post about it on the Minecraft forum and tell everybody its contents.

If you guys seriously believe a four-character online fad is responsible for increased levels of teenage pregnancies and drug abuse, you have bigger problems.

    Quote from DerpyHooves

Ask your parents if you can go to an online school followed by a really long and good reason why you want to do so. I do online schooling, and it is awesome. Not surrounded by the idiots of my generation, get to eat and drink during class, and you can attend class at any time of the day you want. And when you are done with that, you can go hang out with your friends and stuff.

But on the downside you may develop a superiority complex as this post clearly demonstrates.

Yes. Boris, Corrupted, Merzbow, Boredoms, Nobuo Uematsu, Kashiwa Daisuke, Envy, Mono, Melt Banana, Sigh, 不失者, Ground Zero, World's End Girlfriend, etc. So basically a lot of post-rock and noisy stuff.

Underrated in terms of critical reception or in terms of popularity? If we're talking about the latter, I'd consider the vast majority of my library to be underrated. As for the former, I don't agree with the hate Sunn O))) receives from a lot of people (not music critics, usually). Monoliths and Dimensions is one of my favorite albums of 2009.

posted a message on I hear jagex bought ace of spades...
    Quote from Destructoid17

Recently, developer of Runescape ( now worst game ever) recently bought AoS from original dev Ben Aksoy. They're a company with a really greedy free-to-play but pay for everything else style, basically EA but smaller. They're re-releasing the once charming indie title on steam this December, but damn, have you seen what they've done so far? More or less absolutely retarded, I wonder what they're even going to make you pay for. What are your thoughts on innocent-looking video game Walmart clones trampling games for money?

Could you describe the changes Jagex are making without being immature and vague? Never mind, I'll look it up myself.

(http://www.mpogd.com/news/?ID=11227) The full version Ace of Spades featuring an improved graphics engine and an armoury of new weapons will be available to download from Steam in December 2012 for a small one off fee.

I don't appreciate your fear mongering.

posted a message on What Do You Listen to Music With and Why?
    Quote from Barlycorn

I could probably answer my own question with a bit of research but I'm lazy so....

What is the point of the really expensive headphones (like Beats) when you are listening to MP3s? My daughter wants them for Christmas and all she listens to is her ipod so it just seems like a waste to me.

Good sound quality really does add tremendously to the listening experience. A word of caution however, Beats are not very good headphones for the money you spend. She most likely only wants them because they are so heavily marketed in music videos and all her friends own a pair.

I use Sony J-cord earbuds. I can't understand how people live with cheap earbuds or stock iPod earbuds, you lose so much of the music when listening to those. I like the convenience of earbuds, and plus they're great for just lying and bed and getting lost in music (much harder to do with large headphones).

posted a message on borderlands 2 or black ops 2?!?!?!?!?
    Quote from BlogDog123

    Neither.

    This post is completely unnecessary.

I don't understand why people always ask for others to pick games for them. You should be the one doing the research and decide for yourself; we have different tastes and preferences than you do. On top of that, Black Ops 2 isn't even released yet.
