Jun 16, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangUnfortunately, Mojang will probably use complex legal terms, forcing the servers to hire their own lawyers to find the loopholes (or try to fight Mojang and fail)Posted in: News

Jun 16, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangDoes thinking up loopholes to violate the EULA count as talk about violating the EULA or not (since it technically does not violate the EULA)?Posted in: News

Jun 16, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangGrey area: if a server owner's friend donated to the server because he is the friend of the owner, would it be legal for the owner to give his friend OP on the server? granted, this happens mostly in servers that are too small for Mojang to care about anyways, but still.Posted in: News

Jun 16, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangMojang clearly has no way to enforce this, seeing as how they failed to enforce the EULA for 2 years.Posted in: News

Jun 16, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangI really think mojang should allow the buying of "soft currency" for "hard currency". Why? People still have to work for hard currency, they just work for it IRL instead of in-game.Posted in: News

Jun 13, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersThe EULA only prevents monetization of the server. If all donations go into solely keeping the server alive, that is legal right?Posted in: News

Jun 13, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersMojang should have instead gotten money out of this by charging a 50% tax on donations, which would get them more money than realms ever will.Posted in: News

Jun 12, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersPosted in: NewsQuote from GreenIguana7
I understand that this was in the EULA all along, Mojang owns the game and they can do whatever they desire, etc.
But isn't it a tad shady that they let people put all this hard work into servers just to suddenly start enforcing it again?
Such a vast number of servers are entirely dependent on donations, and realistically not many players are going to donate without a reward. This means that many servers are going to shut down. Before someone says "good riddance with those servers, they're all pay to win", remember that this means NO features whatsoever are allowed to be granted to donors, even something as small as a colored nickname.
I personally don't see any good coming from this, nor do I see how placing advertisements in the freaking server chat is any better than giving perks to donors.
Okay, to be fair, colored names do not give advantages and are allowed. -
Jun 12, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersWouldn't shutting down the servers just lead to less sales of minecraft?Posted in: News

Jun 12, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersOkay, if Mojang really wanted to not have donation perks they should have cracked down instantly, instead of ruining many server owners that already established things based on donation. Does Mojang have good enough lawyers to take down the servers anyways?Posted in: News

Jun 12, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersGuys, this is just to try and force players to use realms by destroying the server community. We need to stop this by organizing a boycott against Mojang so that they have to relent before they lose money (and we still get 10 years of development first!)Posted in: News

Jun 8, 2014Crusher48 posted a message on Minecraft Server Changes, EULA - A Brief LookWhat happens when the big donators (some of which are rich people) try to sue for a refund over the donation perks that no longer work? Mojang would lose a lot of money on lawyers at the very least.Posted in: News

I heal someone.

I don't think we have any mods that can change mob behavior like this, though. We need to have a way to change mob AI and stats like this using commands or entity data in PC version.

Why does Pocket Edition/W10 Edition keep getting all the cool features that REALLY NEED to be added to PC Minecraft, but PC Minecraft doesn't get those features?

I use a medikit on Bioshock.

I pull back Pricey so that he doesn't rush into an exposed position, and then move towards the shack.

I think we should launch a scan operation on a supply truck.
To the Marshall: Okay, I know what our enemy is, but I want to know what the enemy's composition is. Are we facing a bunch of mind-controlling Greys, or are we up against an army made out of Hulk expies?
0
I vote for armor mods, because we will need to be able to modify our defenses to counter unique enemies.
Wait. Marshall, what are we facing? I ask the Marshall to give out some information on the enemy we are facing.
0
I attempt to choke the marshal by pulling the pin on my smoke grenade and then forcing it into his mouth.

I try to figure out how spraying inaccurate fire to pin someone down is harder to do than actually shooting them, then decide to just shoot the normal way.

I attempt to attack the enemy with my GREMLIN, but then realize that we haven't researched attack drones yet. Instead, I duck behind a box, then pop up and attempt to suppress the grunt behind high cover, with the intent being to nail him with bullets if he tries to pop out to shoot. Given that holograms are rarely all that smart, they will pop out to shoot, and get blasted.
0
I pop from behind a crate and shoot the holograms. Mark me down as a Support.
PS: will we be able to change classes later on? We might suffer some... attrition during the war, and we may need to change team compositions.

For whatever reason, I decided to summon a skeleton riding a zombie. However, no matter how much I tried, I was unable to get the skeleton to equip a bow to shoot stuff, turning it into a melee mob. How do I get the skeleton to pick up a bow?
0
Well every server will have it on by default, ruining the whole point of XP farming.

This is a stupid change. If I want to cram hundreds of mobs in a single square so I can kill them with one damage pot, I should be able to!

I was going to launch DTG: Spacebattles today, but instead I have to wrestle with Windows 10 upgrades. Probably going to get started tomorrow.
Note: This is probably going to be high-power DTG mixed with Spacebattles competency.
