    posted a message on Minecraft 1.0 is completely Unbalanced.

    The only thing i think is unbalanced is the armor.

    This. I agree that the gaem is too easy, but thats mostly when you have armor on. It could use some minor tweats to mob damage and stuff, but the biggest problem is that a full set of iron armor makes you nearly invincible.

    I like the stability knowing another 'game breaking' update isn't around the corner. In that I mean SMP, as I don't play single player; imo it'd be a win win.

    It's not done updating. New features likely won't come as fast as they were just before the release(1.8 , 1.9), but Minecraft is far from done and we will see many updates in the future.

    posted a message on Biome degrading/upgrading/ addiotion suggestion
    I personally think the old terrain generation(pre 1.8) should come back, with some modifications of course. The random patches of small desert should still be removed, and the biomes should still be bigger than pre 1.8, but the overall terrain generation used to generate new terrain. This current one just generates the same basic pattern over and over again...

    Also, trees on mountains. That is all.

    Quote from Thumb_Raider

    This is the first thing I thought as well! It's true. I really like the space.

    Perhaps there should be some slider bars to direct terrain generation?
    Flatter<--------------->Mountains
    Barren <--------------->Forests
    water coverage
    0%<--------------->100%

    etc?

    This could help, but the code still creates a giant patchwork quilt of repetetive biomes... I can't fully get into Survival anymore since there's nothing interesting to explore. Still prefer going back and checking out my old maps...

    I'll agree the transitions could use a little work, but I do like the swamps as a whole. :biggrin.gif:

    Yes. I think the swamp color is perfect, but the transition is terrible...

    I'll get used to it, eventually... But yeah, the first time I heard that sound, I jumped like crazy. Especially since it was late at night, in a dark room, and I was mining very deep on hard difficulty. I'm still loving all the new sounds though.

    posted a message on New Corovain
    Building went on. Miners toiled endlessly in the dark depths of the world, and the guards spent they're nights patrolling the town perimeter, protecting it from threats. There have been a few minor injuries on each front, but luckily no one has died or even been seriously wounded yet. Still, Lord Kross realized that the miners and soldiers were running out of armor and equipment. He sent a ship out to find some armor and weaponsmiths, and had the builders begin construction of a workplace for the smiths.

    Within days, the bottom floor is finished. It was equiped with a forge and an anvil, and walls lined with furnaces. Lord Kross personnally helped out with the area around the lava forge. He knew firsthand the destruction that a rogue fire could cause.

    The top floor, which will house the two workers upon their arrival, is completed by night a few days later. The chimeny is added to release the heat from the forge.

    The next step towards expanding the town is preparing a center for trade in New Corovain. Lord Kross realizes the need to give the town traders a place to store goods that they acquire on their trading voyages. He wants to build a trading center that could later evolve into a bank, when the town grows and people have need to store things.

    The bank's foundation is laid. It is situated directly across the street from the front of the blacksmith.

    Next, the walls of the bank are raised. In only a few more days, it will be finished.

    The roof is added, with a raised portion in the center. This elevated roof is lined with windows to let in natural light the interior more natrually. Lord Kross is pleased with his architect's ingenuity. Beneath the bank is a large underground room filled with chests to store goods. This storage can be easily expanded, either by digging down or horizontally.

    Nice :tongue.gif: Glad to know someone else from Jersey! And I am about to update: My computer decided to start working again. I had figured there was something wrong after getting 3 separate blue screens after turning it on 3 times, but its fine now!

    No updates for awhile at this rate. Just had lots of snow yesterday(yes, in October), and my power went out while some stuff was running on my main computer. Now the computer doesn't work. And it had all my screen shots and minecraft stuff.

    posted a message on [1.8.1]Tale Of Kingdoms Ver 1.0.5
    Here's an idea(If posted previously, i'm sorry for not looking through 180 pages :tongue.gif:):
    Note: This only applies to the mod after it is completed.

    Whenever the mod is completed, like 100% complete for SSP, you should at least try to add multiplayer. It could be simple. Every player, selected by the admins or Op's or whoever is in charge, can become a king. Once they become a king, they make their town, no changes here. The only difference is that multiple people can become kings. A town can only be built about 200 blocks from the guild, but maybe 500 blocks from someone else's town. The town relations could depend entirely on player interactions. If one person attacks another, his soldiers follow his lead. They won't attack each other independently unless war is declared, though. This could be done through a special NPC, used entirely to set relations with other players. So the towns can team up against the darkness, or fight everybody.

    This is just my suggestion/idea, because I would love to have this mod on a server someday. :smile.gif:
