There any way we could get a list of all the block ID's used by BtBC? Or at least, what's the last block ID you're *not* using? Sorry if that's already in the wiki somewhere, didn't see it. If it is, could I get a link? :smile.gif:
If this were Reddit, I'd upvote you into oblivion.
I, for one, welcome our new HCB overlords. What are some texture packs that work with all this?
To clarify, I'd like to install one texture pack that reskins the vanilla game, AND does all of BtBC, but if there isn't such a thing, can anyone gimme a list of what texture packs are out there for just BtBC?
I decided to wall off a section, then pour cement to fill in what was left of the water. I prefer to channel water in the Quarry to flood it (and convert lava to obsidian), instead of digging straight into water, as it gives me the option of blocking off the chutes, and exploring any caves revealed once the Quarry is done.
I've just been pumping the water out into tanks for use later. Didn't think about cement. Course you still have to partition it off my way though. Would take a bit too long to drain the whole sea :biggrin.gif:
Yeah I've been looking at the wiki, just asking what I either couldn't find, or didn't understand. Lot of the info is out dated too, and doesn't deal with BtBC, it only deals with the two mods separately and being that I've never played them before separately, I have no idea where the overlap into new content (or changes) starts and stops.
About the windmills though, they keep breaking when it rains. Yeah I know it's supposed to, but what I'm curious about is the detector block that shuts it off when it detects rain.. does this block need a clear line of sight to the sky, or is it sufficient for it just to be aimed up?
Thanks!
Oh also, do you have to get to the Nether before you can make glue? I can't think of an other way to get constant flame, unless you can cook over lava. Haven't tried that.
Speaking of lava: How do you get lava back from the nether if hardcore buckets is turned on? Thanks :smile.gif:
it's not a bug, it's working EXACTLY as intended, the word you're looking for is exploit
If we had infinite computing power and AI Expert System natural language software engineering, no one would have "intended" for that to be possible. By that definition, no, it isn't functioning "as intended." You wouldn't be able to pull more water out than you put in. There may just not be a "way around that" yet.
For my own amusement, would this be as simple as changing a block ID somewhere in a .class file or something? Going from coal ID (or whatever they use) to the petrol ID?
Don't want anyone to really go through a lot of trouble for me, but if it's something that can be done in a few minutes, could anyone possibly point me in the right direction? :smile.gif:
EDIT: One more dumb question. Does BtBC support multiplayer? And if so, where's the server files? Didn't notice a link anywhere, but I might be blind. Would love to get a private one up for my friends.
Could anyone share your redstone diagram for lighting up a 3x3 hibachi with one switch? I'm kind of terrible with redstone and I'm having a lot of trouble getting them all lit without the redstone paths causing self interference. Also my attempts have taken up a ton of room. What i'm currently doing is putting nine redstone torches under the hibachi "furnace", which is under the floor, and then trying to wire it up so I can toggle all the redstone torches with a single switch above the floor. I've just never been very good at "thinking with redstone".
Is there any way to automate the function of a furnace? For example, can I somehow pump cobble into a furnace and then pump out smooth stone into a chest?

Can this be played multiplayer?

Oh. Well damn. :smile.gif:

Quibbling over nomenclature is puerile.

Well yeah, if you're going to abuse bugs :tongue.gif:

Fair enough, but for the sake of aesthetics' sake, lets assume I want all nine :tongue.gif:
Any advice?

So I can't create a hydroelectric dam and get electricity from water, or make a wind farm? D:

Is it possible to transfer power into a gearbox with steam or combustion engines? If it is, I can't seem to figure out how.
