Ehh, not really sure how I could work that out. But there is going to be one alloy that wont have lapis tip, because it already (Besides uses) Has max everything (Its a bit OP, but is also really expensive)
Definitions of 'expensive' vary... If it's possible that it could be OP if it was easy to obtain by using some sort of mod that allows easier resource gathering (e.g. buildcraft with quarries), could you please add a config option to disable it from the server side?
Love the idea of this mod! I know a lot of mods have alloys in them though...
A suggestion: When you add the new alloys, why not make alloy blocks aimed at specific purposes? For example maybe one alloy would be highly blast resistant, and another would do something special like double furnace efficiency when you surround the furnace. Maybe one alloy, perhaps using glowstone, would be a nice, metallic looking 15 light level block. Also, perhaps you could implement common ore dictionary ores, like copper, tin, silver, aluminum, lead, etc.
EDIT: I didn't mean to sound sort of downbeat like it came out, lol. I think it's great, and I see a lot of potential for originality! I'm just a little bit afraid it might turn out like other mods. =)
First things first: FULL SUPPORT Now, if Mojang can see this, to ease their work they can divide every feature here between updates: First Update: Combat tweaks/overhaul Second update: Minor movements (Vault and charged jump) Third update: More moves (They get to choose which ones they want) Last update: The rest of this (PRETTY PLEASE CAN WE HAVE SKYDIVING?!) Again, FULL SUPPORT [represent]
Is it true? Go to the getatisfactions and tell me it's not true. I hope I typed it wrong three times in a row. (By the way it looks like Doomfan has been inquiring about the server.)
To whom it may concern, The kingdom of alesgan is back and looking for allies! We feel, as a community in minecraft it's very important that we mingle with other successful Minecraft clans, swap stories and share ideas. You have a good looking system and I can tell from some of the things I've seen, a fairly intelligent base of people.
How'd you like to ally with the Kingdom of Alesgan?
At the moment it's just really a name whilst we build the infrastructure, but in time we'll be able to lend a hand, join you in wars and help you grow your clan too that might just be mentioning your names favourably in important places or simply running you through issues we know how to deal with. In time we'd like to treat you like a brother, but for now, lets settle for an alliance. Sound like a good deal?
I'm okay with allying. We haven't had a sizeable get-together in like months, so as xammer said, we're more of a group of friends. Also, both your links are broken.
Still, wireless connection, or no? If he's using WiFi then have him try using a non-wireless method and see if it doesn't fix the problem. People will say all kinds of crap, doesn't make them right about it. You remember GS, you remember the checklist of nonsensical crap we'd go through. I'm sure somewhere there's a site saying "download this delicious virus and it will fix that error" just like there were with DLL errors spitting out of Minecraft in beta.
So yeah, ask about the wireless connection thing first.
Good idea. If you look through other places you'll probably find worse crap =P Remember delete system32? (Well, that could have been legit, cause if I remember correctly the system will replace it, but I still think it was some n00b trying to be a crackhead.)
Yes. ... You asked if I had heard of it, not if I know what causes it or how to fix it. =P
I think it has something to do with the server, or potentially not being the same exact version/have the proper mods for the server. Or if he's getting it while already on the server, maybe it's like when the server times you out and it's just a connectivity issue. OR, (pause for dramatic "OR") if he's using a wireless connection, that's probably the problem. I remember we had a guy who had very good speed, but was using WiFi, and every time he would connect he'd get randomly booted out. Ask him is he's using a wireless connection, if he is then ask him to use some ethernet cable and see if that fixes the problem.
He gets it on pretty much any server, bukkit or vanilla. Using 1.6.2 vanilla client. I looked around the web and it seems to say that anything from disabling Avast antivirus to reinstalling Minecraft fixes it...
Has anyone ever heard of a "Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed" error? My friend gets it randomly when connected to a server.
Same. There is a point where he might not be open to updating it, and in some ways I'm anxious to see this to 1.6.2 since my entire video modlist is now available to 1.6.2 and I need to stick to 1.5.2 to record. But I don't want to bother with pushing it.
Would be nice to see an alternative popup, perhaps with some other options.
I'd like to see a lite type version, that only has a camera and like basic graphics settings, like resolution, fps, and number of rendered particle effects. Just something that works...
This mod is amazing, but on the downside I rely on this completely to make videos. The videos I do make come out awesome though! Does anybody know if there are alternate mods like this I can use while this isn't updated? Again, I really like it...
I believe SPC at one point had a command to slow time...
Haha, maybe we can schedule a event. It was just me all like, Hey, Gat, Jon, and Hyrax are online not playing games, why not Minecraft? You were playing a game Hemp =P And xammer was offline. But yeah, if you're playing a game next time I'll tell you. But I expect we'll probably have an event or something.
It slows mine down too, but only by about a minute. The startup takes maybe 30-60 seconds then another minute or so for Steam. Dem old computers. I just make my coffee while it's starting up in the morning.
Well me, Gatling, Hyrax, and Thesurusrex had a grand ol' time last night, pwning zombies. I think on that last game I was in, we got to the 13 minute mark, or somewhere around there. Blocks vs zombies is a lot harder than it looks! (And I think my timing on that apocalypse rod was accidentally perfect. =D Thanks to whoever dumped a stack of gold on me =P)

The stack trace continues into unimportantness and the message at the top is the only error.
I've got Java 8 and Windows 8.1. All previous installers worked without issue.
It seems to fail to install. Just letting you know =)

What was that about namechanging never really happening? Dinnerbone does not lie.
