"Ok, thanks again!" I called out to Kaz as he walked over to the cobble generator. I took a second top think about the conversation we had just had. The most distinct part, for me at least, was when he said that he had heard rumors about a 'strange jellyfish monster that spits flames'. I would have to ask him more about that later. Suddenly, I heard the sound of barking from outside the house. I opened the door and saw a wolf sitting there. I smiled at it.
"Well, aren't you cute! Hey, Kaz!" I pointed at the wolf.
"Ok, I guess I'll go get some cobble then. Thanks!" Hailey said as she made her way over to the generator. She pulled the wooden pick from her bag and began to mine. She mined about 8 pieces of the stone before going over to Kaz's house to get the wool. She cracked the door open and peered inside.
"Hey, can I come in? I could use some of that wool now. So, yeah. I think it's cool that we were both shipwrecked! Maybe we have more in common! What's your favorite creature? I like slimes, cause' when they're small they follow you around. In fact, I have a pet slime back where I came from. It's name was George." She babbled excitedly. She was starting to like Kaz; He wasn't some strict dude who told her what to do all the time.
Hailey listened to the man. Apparently, his name was Kaz, and there were other people on the island. Also, she could come with him if she wished. She began to walk after him, taking him up on his offer.
"So, Kaz, how did you end up on the island? I was sailing along looking for something cool, and saw the island. I crashed into a rock on the way over though, so I had to swim to the island."
"Hey, over here!" Hailey turned around to see a man with red hair calling out to her. She waved eagerly and began to walk over. She was exited to see that there was another person on this island.
"Hey! My name's Hailey. It's exiting to see that there's an other person on this island! Are there any others, or is it just you?" She asked.

Appearance- Hailey has blue eyes, and wavy blonde hair that she wears in a pony-tail. She has fair skin and wears khaki shorts with a green tank-top.
Equipment- A backpack containing: A loaf of bread, three pieces of leather, and a set of wooden tools.
Personality- Hailey is a cheerful, adventure loving girl who is always looking for her next challenge.
How she got into the story- Hailey was sailing across the ocean looking for a submerged cave or something cool, when she saw the island in the distance. As she was sailing to it, she crashed into a inconveniently placed rock, and was forced to swim the remainder of the way there.
"Finally!" Hailey exclaimed as she paced up and down the sandy beach of the island.
"It's seems like I've been swimming for ages! Well, my ship has probably already sunken by now, so there's no hope of salvaging any materials from it. I guess I'll have to survive on what I have in my pack." She stopped pacing and took off her backpack. She then proceeded to remove its contents and place them on the ground in front of her.
"Ah!" She said, smiling.
"It's not so bad, after all! Let's see, a wooden pick, shovel, hoe, sword, axe, bread, and 3 pieces of leather! Not bad at all! Now...." She put the items back in the bag and slung it over her shoulder.
"To go see if there's any other people on this island!" She started walking north, towards the forest that was not to far from the beach.
