... Don't we have enough of these type of games?
How about focusing on making better games, since these ones are getting old?

Pretty sure the "thbbb" face is an accident, but I still love it.
Dash's reaction is pretty sensible. :|

That's all I have to say.
You are a douche.
That is pretty douche.
It's not as douche as pretending to be a Homestuck fan and then undermining the fanbase to make her switch sides, but it's pretty douche.
Nov 23, 2011Posted in: Forum Games
What about if you genuinely hate BRONIES, not MLP.
The problem with that, is that if you try to do it reasonably, it dosen't work that well, since almost every fanbase sucks.
In order to make something awful, it's best to have a good example of something.
For example; Comparing OC ponies to OC trolls dosen't work, because both are pretty crap.
See, if you look at a good rageous pile of hate, it actually has a stark contrast to make the crap look crappier.
For example, you could say that CAD is terrible because it's words are ****ing massive and unfunny, and they take up the art space. To show how this is so bad, you could take a good comic, like Homestuck, and say: THIS comic takes the text and puts it out of the screen so it doesn't hinder the art, and the text is written in a way normal people talk, and isn't ****. You can tell because Hussie has had experience (See And It Don't Stop by Andre Hussie) doing good writing, and has experimented with this stuff before. While you can look at anything Tim Buckley's done, and can say he has never improved, ever.

As for the Kismesis thing, EWWWW, I like hating something because it allows me to release my opinion on something without holding back.
If you want to hate something, I'd really suggest hating Ctr Alt Del, it's so awful, there are tons of serious "Mock Threads" that make an art towards hating it.
Something Awful Thread Here, (The EIGHTH reincarnation of it)
You may not be able to see that thread, as SA does close off non-members for viewing it sometimes.
However, the thread has the most constructive hate I've ever seen.

Alright, ya'll are gonna think I'm a sperg for this but...
In the course of over 20 days, I took it upon myself to collect statistics on CAD after reading a comment that asked how many of Buckley's strips ended with the raised eyebrow as a punchline. At first I was just going to go through and simply look for those, but I thought, as long as I'm reading through this ****, why not collect as much as I can? Why not find out the exact level of awful Timbo has been shitting out for almost 9 years now?
In large thanks to the Dropbox that hosts the comics from 2002-2009, and some of 2010, I had a relatively easy time browsing all the comics without going onto the actual site. Now tonight, I present to you what I have discovered after reading 1,637 CAD comics (I am the CAD fan). I didn't bother to look at the sillies or any extras Bucko might've shat out over the years.
So how does this all breakdown? There were 21 different categories I was looking out for in each comic. Here is the data...
EyebrowA records any instance of the raised eyebrow expression in a comic (Zeke and any other masked character that makes the same sort of face counts).
1416/1637 comics had at least one instance of a raised eyebrow used which comes out to 86.43%.
EyebrowB records any instance of the raised eyebrow expression in the LAST PANEL of a comic (ie. the smug look is the punchline). 950/1637 had a raised eyebrow expression, which comes out to 58.03%. In the context of only the comics that have the raised eyebrow expressions to begin with, there's a 67.14% chance a raised eyebrow will be found in the last panel.
Games counts any instance where games are in the background, the subject, being played, etc. Since it is a comic for gamers, one should expect the number of game related comics to be high. 998/1637 kept to the comic's theme of being about VIDEO GAMES, which comes out to 60.97%. This basically means every 2/5 comic strips are not video game related.
Violence is often a key element in Buckley's works. Or is it? I counted instances of physical graphic violence, destruction, as well as threats to harm and simple punching, kicking, etc. 505/1637 comics are violent in some way, which comes out to 30.85%
GIS is another element that makes CAD, CAD. How many of these comics contain "art" that is not crapped out by Buckley himself? This also includes logos, video game covers, anything that is ripped off of Google and the like. 613/1637 have some form of GIS. 37.45%. If Buckley doesn't GIS backgrounds when his characters are outside, holy **** do they look shoddy!
Gradients - a favorite of any shitty webcomic/Photoshop artist. Too many gradients could either mean you're making them too obvious, lacking subtlety, or you really don't know how to draw ****. Hmm... 1350/1637 had a gradient in some form. In fact, up until about the Her Vows arc, All of Buckley's characters had gradients on their ****ing clothes. 82.47% of CAD has gradients.
Words - yet again, a favorite of shitty webcomic artists. We know how Buckley looooooves to pile on the words. To his credit, the comics were not actually very wordy to start. It wasn't until 20021205 that it went full blast words words words words words. 1492/1637 comics could use a word reduction edit. 91.14%.
Wacky is pretty self explanatory. Any strip that involves Ethan is likely to have some sort of LOL WACKY! factor to it. Surprisingly, the comic is slightly less wacky than it is wordy, at 1470/1637 strips, 89.79%.
B^U. Enough said. 1546/1637 has the Buckley trademark look. 94.44%.
Sex is fairly broad, like violence. Mentions of sex, sexual imagery, HEH, BOOBIES, all count. I was getting really ****ing sick of the number of times Ethan or girl x who likes Lucas says to the other how they should have sex, like uggh. 227/1637 which makes 13.86% of the comics about something sex related, Ethan saying HEH, BOOBIES, or demanding Lilah lets him **** her.
Misogyny was another fun one. Treatment of women as sex objects, violence against women, referring to women as 'a female' or 'DAMMIT WOMAN', Lucas and the fatsuit arc, use of the word '*****', etc. I counted it all here, and it comes out to 187/1637, which makes 11.42% of the comics misogynist. Also interesting to note - None of the female characters EVER appear alone, or interacting merely amongst themselves. There is ALWAYS a male character present.
Rape jokes are always a classy choice for any 'edgy' artist/comedian to take advantage of. Implication of rape, literal rape jokes, doesn't matter. It's here. Sadly, a typical Reddit user might be disappointed to find that a mere 23/1637 comics have a rape theme, which comes out to 1.41%.
Racism is slightly higher than the rape category, helped in large part by the shitty Mac Panthers arc. 25/1637 comics show that Buckley knows how to laugh at racist jokes because he's not racist... only 1.53% racist, really!
LGBT is when Buckley feels the need to pick on queer folk to make his funnies, or about how gay two dudes are being, or even the Lilah is a tranny joke. If it's about being gay, lesbian, or transgendered, it's here! Bi folks don't exist to Buckley, apparently. 30/1637 comes out to 1.83%.
Ableist more or less, marks when someone uses the word "retard" or picks on non-abled bodied people as the punchline. This is also fairly scarce, at 22/1637. 1.34%.
Weight is always a good one! If Buckley depicts a large person as being stupid, makes fat jokes, has a cyclops wear a overly large coat, whatever, I tried to make sure to record it here. 28/1637, that's 1.71%.
Insult is a more general category, but usually is intended for when it seems like Buckley is really trying to insult his own readers, or on the rare one or two occasions, making the claim that men are simply sex crazed beasts. Basically, people level on his own field. 71/1637 comics seem to have been made with calling his gamer audience idiots. 4.34%.
(And I suppose if you put the categories, from misogyny to ableist all together, it comes out to about 19.24% of his comics insulting those less privileged than him?)
Box counts Buckley Boxes. I didn't count word balloons, since Buckley overexplains the joke pretty much every ****ing time, but if there's a box, I counted it. 193/1637 comics had boxes. 11.79%!
Plot checked to see how many comics followed some sort of plotline. 1091/1637 of them - 66.65% in fact, manages to be connected in some way to form a story. Other than Loss, when a plotline was going, it followed through until the end before doing a couple of jokes here and there (where as with Loss, it was sort of all over the ****ing place).
Xpanel counts every time Buckley did not use the standard 4 panel format. 198/1637, or 12.10% of the comics broke that format in some way.
Funny comes in last but not least. It's more of a personal thing, since not everyone is going to find the same comics funny. So how did that do? You'll be surprised! I actually found 6/1637 comics funny or amusing enough to mark. It's still only 0.36%, but being Buckley, that must count for something. The strips I found funny were:
20050909 I don't know why, Lucas blowing on the cartridge and being out of breath just brought back memories of my own Nintendo and made me go haha!.... D: Being the first CAD comic I laughed at, I felt really, really guilty for it.
20051205 Okay, for what it's worth, I only found the first half funny. Zeke going "we are?" just made me smile, and umm, I don't know how else to explain it, but the rest of the comic and the storyline isn't funny!
20070831 This one is cause uhh... well to be honest I have a hard time seeing the penis because I see a bad do with a giant buttchin instead and that reminds me of someone so this one was more of an inside joke.
20080503 Another guilty laugh. It might be the voice I imagined for guy #3 and it's pretty light on the words for a CAD strip.
20080516 The perspective bothers me like **** but Ethan getting his head smashed with that binder - another guilty laugh I really tried to suppress... I mean hey! After seeing so many instances of that manchild being a violent sociopathic piece of **** to others...!
20100212 Final guilty laugh. I swear... I won't find any others funny beyond these...
So umm.. there you have it, CAD thread. Statistics on CAD as it stands. After reading everything for the first time ever, I've decided I really ****ing hate Ethan and Lucas, both are assholes in their own ways, Ethan is especially infuriating, with everyone including Lilah apologizing to his sorry ass. Christian and Rory come off too hard as if they're supposed to be hated, and really, they just come off flat and two dimensional smugness. Zeke (early Zeke moreso than later) and Scott are about the most likeable characters. Zeke's earlier design was a lot better in my opinion than whatever **** he has now, and after reading everything I can safely conclude Bucko's style is getting worse. His art started spazzing out around the wedding arc, and now it's just gone full blown shitty. I don't even know how to feel about having done this, but welp, there you go, I'll continue to update the spreadsheet file I'm using as new updates come out, and maybe if people want to see it I'll upload it to a Dropbox or something?
Aside from that, there are also tons of comic edits, which are hilarious.

...You know that "The Scout" can be taken multiple ways, I always thought it had something to do with Team Fortress 2.
... Uh, yeah?
Scouting (military troop meant who performs surveillance on areas ahead).
Scouts as a Class in games other than TF2.

Sounds like some people are MAD. U MAD BRO?
I'm just kind of facepalming.
I can't really get mad. I get so much incompetence every day, I kind of run out of MAD.
Also, when monster says that she likes "hating" something, I get the impression she's trying to recreate kismesis or something.
Nov 23, 2011It's really weird how you use other people as an excuse to hate or like something.Posted in: Forum Games
I mean, plenty of Homestuck fans have been jerks to other groups before, but you seem to give no care towards that.
I mean, it's not like the show itself did anything to you. Which really gives you no reason to dislike the show. The people around it? Yeah, fine. But complaining about a fan community is pretty pointless as ALL fan communities pretty much blow.
I'm proof of a brony becoming a hater again.
Yeah, but you're the person who goes around trying to convince everybody you're evil while slapping music videos in every other post.
You're kind of an anomaly already.
Nov 22, 2011Less botched "illegal" abortions occur if abortion clinics are made legal. If they are made illegal, and a person is seriously considering abortion, one may resort to going to an illegal underground one.Posted in: General Off Topic
In short; trying to get rid of it will not get rid of it.
You know, people seem to act like this whole choice thing is no big deal for people who undergo an abortion, but really, you have to consider the stress of people who choose to do so.
You have to have a little faith in humanity they won't destroy ever baby they don't want if abortion is a legal thing.
Nov 22, 2011I believe people should be able to choose, but I'm biased, because I read an awesome thread on Something Awful called "Ask me what it's like to be an Abortion Clinic Escort". I was neutral on the subject beforehand, but now I'm pretty rooted for it.Posted in: General Off Topic
This is something I think people should read, though. It just raises eyebrows like a mofo.

No, nonononono. I lied about that. The only time I ever actually did something similar to that was when I was showing off my spray on 2fort to an engineer.
Heh, but seriously, I was bullshitting you on that one.
I'm raising my eyebrow so high right now it's propelled itself on my ceiling.
Anyways, I hate how Engis get point for teleporting people. One time, I was in this terrible match, where I tele'd 94 guys, and I got a ton of points-And now Engi has my best score.
But all I did was teleport chumps who can't play for their life.
I also hate when people use me as a bullet shield while Cloak and Daggering.
Buddy, I'm trying to hide here, GET OUT OF BEHIND MY ASS.
I love it when 2forters expect me to pocket them.
I'm a medic. I don't pocket.
I think I love you now.

Somebody had a Pinkie Pie spray. I spammed "No" as Spy on it, and then continued to shoot at it with my Ambassador until we lost.
... That's just pointlessly malicious.
You say you dislike haters, but you stopped helping your team to shoot pictures of ponies...
Nov 22, 2011Is that bad thing?Posted in: Forum Games
Anyways, you know what I love doing in Gravelpit?
Putting sentries ontop of A as RED. It makes it easy for your spies to pick off dudes at the bottom (since BLU has to look up and aim carefully to get the sentry, it makes it obvious when they're tunnel-visioning), and it also entertains your snipers as well, as they like sniping from up there.

Them sprays, on the other hand... >..>
(There's like a Rainbow Dash shotgun, isn't there?)
It's a Spreadgun.
Of course ANY* sprays don't fit. But if you allow sprays, you obviously don't care about that.
*Pornstabs are the exception (tagging porn as an invisible spy, waiting for somebody to stand still and look at the tag and backstab them)

Ingame pony musics?
Any music. Pony music doesn't belong either, of course.
I mean, the voice actors are pretty professional and everything, but it just doesn't match up with TF2.
Team Based Murder + Lighthearted Music = Not working for me.
