posted a message on Server starting help.

I forgot to mention something. The .bat file works when I double-click it. It only doesn't work when the Task Scheduler runs it.

There is no start-up script. I am just running the server installer .jar file from Mojang. Here is the link to the page: DOWNLOAD THE MINECRAFT: JAVA EDITION SERVER. This is the output when I run the command with the file in the Windows Command Prompt. (I left out the nogui part.)

posted a message on minecraft_server.1.17.1.jar trouble.

When I download the minecraft_server.1.17.1.jar file it is named server.jar. When I try to run it, it pops up a message saying "Error: A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again." When I click OK on the box another pop-up appears saying "A Java Exception has occurred." What does this mean and how can I fix it? Any help is appreciated!

When I double-click the .jar file for installing forge, it just briefly opens a window and then closes it. I don't know what is causing this so I am wanting help.

Can you use a Minecraft command to read the contents of a file, write to a file, create a file, and delete a file?
