Is that the whole crash report? It seems rather... short.

Do you have your graphics card's most recent drivers? If you don't know, there are different ways to check for updates depending on the vendor of your GPU.

I've heard a lot of issues with drivers in Windows 10 lately, and a lot of people don't seem to have the updates yet.

Also, usually being unable to punch out blocks is caused by being stuck in Adventure mode. If you have cheats enabled, you might wanna try setting /gamemode 0. It's unlikely, but it's worth a shot.

Question: I know OptiFine is "unsupported", but will having both TC and OptiFine installed at once cause performance loss?

I've never actually tried running TC without OptiFine before (the performance boost it gives me is way too important), but the only problems I've ever noticed are an abundance of clipping textures.

posted a message on Crashed Minecraft please help.

RAM is random access memory, it's basically a communal pool of memory resources for any application to use at any time. If an application doesn't get enough memory, it can experience glitches and slowdowns, but rarely crashes in my experience.

Grimallq says it's graphics drivers, so you might want to look into updating them. The method to doing this depends on the vendor of your graphics card.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think Minecraft runs off of DirectX.
What happens when you try to play? Do you get a crash report, does it not play at all? Exact specifics are very helpful if you can.

The Win10 update hasn't been rolled out to my computer yet, but at least I know to delay updating until more games become compatible/drivers and security issues are fixed.

Hopefully it won't be buggy for too long.

How long have you waited? It can take a few minutes, in my experience. Also it's worth asking, are you certain the versions of the mods you have can run on the version of Forge you have? Forge has several released per Minecraft version, and sometimes mods need to be updated for every version of Forge.

Yes. You will have to play singleplayer entirely alone with no mods because Alpha did not have multiplayer nor mods.

Actually, Alpha did have multiplayer. It was just incredibly laggy, buggy and many features didn't work. Nether portals, fishing, etc.

But obviously OP didn't like those features enough to care about them being nonfunctional in multiplayer.

Are you joking, or are you like the people that say that the first game in a franchise is always the best?

Are you using the right version of Forge for your version of Minecraft? That's the only thing I can think of, if you only have Forge installed.

You're literally complaining about every single update Minecraft has had since Alpha.

If Alpha is such a godlike edition of Minecraft, apparently to the point where development should have been abandoned afterward, enable alpha versions in Minecraft's launcher and play them instead. Have fun with your constant crashes, bugs and nonfunctional multiplayer.

You're saying these things should be, when obviously you're in the very, very small vocal minority. Reverting back to alpha would lose Mojang millions.

Those folders are the inner workings of the Launcher executable.

I recommend deleting the folders, placing Minecraft.exe into its own folder wherever you want, and putting a shortcut on the desktop instead.

I personally put my launcher inside a folder in .minecraft, for the sake of keeping everything in one place.

Wow, I've made two support threads in as many days and neither of them have responses. Just my luck. All the issues I have seem to be the ones that nobody can solve.
