    I loved this mod in 1.7.10. I'm happy to see it's still getting work in 1.12


    Is there a way to disable the vampire biome in the config? I'd love to add this to my server, but changing the list of biomes on an existing map causes all kinds of weird land discontinuities where new and old chunks meet. I'd like to just add the vampire and hunter mobs, and maybe the village hut in newly generated villages.


    If this isn't possible, that's okay. I'll try it out the next time we reset the map.

    I found a bug with the automatic hunger transform. When the setting is enabled to revert form during the day, you still get forced transformations. So you get forcibly wolfied in the middle of the day for one tick and then forcibly reverted, with all of the status effects.


    * The screen flashes, and the wolf skin is visible for a tiny fraction of a second.

    * Two lines appear in chat: "The hunger is too much", and "The hunger was not satisfied"

    * Player gets 30s of weakness/hunger/nausea.


    The forced transformations from hunger should only happen when the player can transform (eg: during the night, if that config is set). The fix seems like it would be easy, to just check if the player can transform before doing the hunger transformation. I can't find any source code or I'd make a patch myself.

    Does this mod work with WAILA? I was sure that on some modpack in the past I could look at a socket and the WAILA box at the top would show me all the modules that were on each side, but now I can't find any documentation about it.

    No, the mod is not dead, on a hiatus, whatever. It's still actively developed. I sadly don't have as much time as I used to have, but I am still working to get some updates out. Thanks to everyone who remains patient for updates. :)

    Thanks for the github link. I submitted a pull request containing three bug fixes:


    1) Mod wrenches not working. The problem was hard to find, but the fix ended up being one line.


    2) The recipes for sturdy rails were missing. This adds the shapeless recipes in the top post.


    3) There is a recipe conflict with RouterReborn where the RR wrench recipe masks the steel grate recipe. This change just adds a config option to change the recipe for steel grates so it doesn't conflict. The new recipe is four iron ingots in the corners and three iron bars across the center.

    Nice work here. I only found the original a few days ago, and now I'm excited that there's already a better version.


    Can you list which wrenches are expected to function like a blowtorch? It seems to work with the wrench from Buildcraft, but not other BC-compatible ones. I tested the wrenches added by ThermalExpansion, EngineersToolbox, RedstoneArsenal, and EnderIO, as well as the Crowbar from Railcraft. All of these implement buildcraft.api.tools.IToolWrench and work on BC-compatible wrenchable blocks from other mods. But none of them seem to work as a blowtorch on catwalks.


    Also, the recipes for the various types of rails don't seem to be working.

    Great mod. Very inventive. I missed SQ the first time around, and I'm happy you've resurrected it.


    I debugged a crash when one of my players built a mob grinder using ExtraUtilities spikes. Any mod that damages a mob using a "fake" player (XU spikes, EIO Killer Joe, CC turtles, etc) causes Spider Queen to crash with a NullPointerException. Details here. I've already made a fix for my private modpack and I can send a pull request if you'd like (though you probably don't need a PR; the fix is really simple).

    Hmm, i'll think about adding it as an option in some way. Currently it's pretty much a somewhat-less-magic void pipe.

    I went ahead and implemented this in a new block (no changes to existing blocks). Partly because I wanted this to feed Botania thermalilies, but mostly because I wanted an excuse to teach myself Scala. It's a really awesome language.


    The block is called a "sluice", and it basically does the same as a drain, but it will only accept fluids one bucket at a time, and only if there's air in front of it. Also, it doesn't do liquid XP (no sense duplicating the drain for that). Anyway, the PR is on github if you are willing to review it.

    Really like this mod. So nice when someone makes working with fluids easier. And the hand pump is officially the greatest invention ever for draining those MineFactory sludge pools.


    If you're still considering feature requests, I have a couple to offer.


    1) Better colorblind support. It's no problem in the tank GUI, where I can hover over a square and get a tooltip telling me the color. But in the world it's not always easy to tell which color is the ring around an output pipe. (Router is fine too, because the tooltip has the direction)


    2) Is there any way for the Drain to only accept liquids if there's space to put them in the world? I was trying to create a spring that automatically replenishes, and the first time I tried I ended up completely draining my tank in one tick. If the point is to destroy the liquid, every fluid mod implements a void pipe of some sort. This is one of the only ones that lets you put it into the world.


    3) A replacement for the BuildCraft pump. I am trying to remove BC from my modpack, as I already have EIO and TE which do almost everything better. But there is still no other mod out there which has a machine that will suck up a pool of liquid in the world. Plus, the BC pump operates at a glacially slow 1 bucket per second. Would be nice to have something that operates at high pressure speed (configurable, ideally), like users of this mod are accustomed to. :)
