Hey, for anyone looking to play this map in the future or help out with its creation, I'm looking for suggestions for abilities, items that apply passive buffs to players, and weapon upgrades and passive weapon abilities.

Thanks! I'm trying to get it done as fast as possible, though with just myself it's a bit of work.

Alrighty folks, Cozmosus here with a WIP map project I decided to start work on.

This map is called Valley of the Ancients. An expansive (relatively) open world made for two or more players. I'm not entirely sure what map genre this exactly fits into, so I'm sure someone will suggest something in the comments. In this map, two or more players will spread out across the vast Valley in search of many different weapons and abilities that they will use in battle against each other.

There are many different areas on the map ranging from the desert to the tundra. The entire valley itself is surrounded by lava, forcing players to stay relatively near to each other.

Behold! The entirety of the map in all its glory!

The world was built in World Painter.

Aside from the expansive map, there is also a combat system.

Each player begins with one Basic weapon, and one Mana Blast.
The Mana Blast is a shared weapon that all players will have, but each player will have their own unique weapon.

    The Sword
    The Claw
    The Fist
    The Bo-Staff

There will also be upgrades to each basic attack, and different upgrades to the Mana Blast.

    Mana Blast upgrades include:
    Force
    Fire
    Basic Mana Blast level 2

Upgrades to the Mana Blast and Basic weapons will be spread around the map in various locations and will be guarded by monsters and dungeons. Players will have to defeat these dungeons and the boss creatures inside of them, (or even creatures outside of dungeons), in order to collect these abilities.

    Current abilities include:

Allows the user to teleport to a location hit by the spell.

Creates a wall of stone in location hit by the spell. Moving near the wall will allow the player to retrieve the wall and reuse the spell.

Causes slowness within small area of effect.

Causes explosion upon location hit with the spell.

The map is currently an unfinished build. Upon completion of a playable version of the map, an additional required resource pack will be provided.

    Planned Unimplemented Features:
    *Required resource pack
    *More weapon upgrades
*Differences in weapons and weapon abilities
    *Spawn and preparation area
    *Automatic player spread
    *Addition of more spells
    *Addition of consumable items
*Addition of different kinds of armour
*Creation of dungeons and dungeon creatures
*Addition of game timer-causes players to either randomly teleport to a new map area, or to teleport to the same place on the map; possibly to a battle arena of sorts
    *More

Any suggestions, ideas, critique is welcome.

posted a message on Why so many people like Star Trek?
Because it's (a) good show(s). I never bothered to watch Star Trek before, but after finding out John De Lancie played Q on it and I decided to check it out and found it to be a very good show. I prefer the original series and next generation, and the newest movies were good too.

Minority ≠ "just a few guys".

For example, 49% of 1 billion people is 490 million people, but it's still the minority.

So is 10%, does that make one any more likely than the other?

Wow, I haven't been here in a long time. At least, not since I started work on my first fanfic. How's everyone doing?

Hey dumbass this mod is already downloadable it's in the evil minecraft mod

I'm sorry, but this is not a mod, it was a mod idea that was never picked up. Something similar can be found in Evil Minecraft, but it is not this mod. Therefore, this is not downloadable.

Have I really been away so long that Twilight became old? I haven't been here in FOREEEEEVVVUUUUUUURRRRRRR.

What's happened since I was last on? I myself have a few new things. I'm working on a song parody featuring Rina-Chan, and I've done MUCH more work on my fanfic. It even got in the features box on FiMfiction.net.

Anybody willing to fill me in on what's been going on?

I've been drawing Professor Layton's "ponified" incorrect face today, I have to admit, I've done some errors on this one. Oh well, its my first drawing, BTW. :P

Did this on college ruled notebook paper too, excuse the quality.

Oh my goodness, that's probably better than I would have done

The whole Derpy thing was a bit annoying. When I first saw the episode I was excited that Derpy was canon, and that her voice was surprisingly similar to the voice I made up for her. When they changed it, I was very annoyed, but moreso at the entire fiasco coming from the community. I can live with the change, partly because I liked the new voice better.

Topic: When has the brony fandom infuriated you? Be it worst, or just petty annoyance, how bad was it?

    Clop fiction.

    Quote from Dimondium

Me: FIMFiction decided to troll me. I update a story that is nowhere near feature threshold, and it gets featured. I start squealing and jumping for joy, only to click over to the homepage and see it there.

    ...1 minute later, it's gone.

So essentially, I got a one minute feature. Trololol and touche back to you, FIMFiction...

I wish my fanfic actually reached the featured box. Though, it doesn't have enough chapters to get enough attention, so I'll be needing to just continue writing and wait it out. I actually just added a chapter for my fanfic. It's my first mlp fanfic, and I'm quite proud of it. If anyone here actually wants to see it, I'll put a link here.
