I lost all my code to corruption when my power went out as it was saving. I also have a lot of other stuff to do, so I might pick this back up later but for now I'm dropping it.

Aww, That's a shame. It always sucks when your stuff gets corrupted.

Currently in Minecraft, you are unable to modify player data. You would have to use the replaceitem command instead. You can do it for other entities such as zombies though.

I must admit that I have already fallen upon it, and even if it could be more entertaining, the content sure is of quality and I learned a lot ! :)

Thank you, sadly, I'm not entertaining whatso ever. I tried making a let's play series and like, probably 4 people watched it. I'm very boring so idk, maybe in the future when I learn to sound happy 😂

All this works very well, thanks a lot !

I must say, that egg trick is so evil yet so good :o

One little adjustment I did : I added Nbt to make it invulnerable and invisible

I'm putting it here in case anyone needs it but it all is thanks to CowsDaBest !

    execute @e[type=rabbit,tag=diamond] ~ ~ ~ summon armor_stand ~ ~ ~ {Tags:["diaOre"],NoGravity:1b,Small:1b,Invulnerable:1,Invisible:1}

I have a 1.12 tutorial on how to make custom spawn eggs (it sucks though). If you'd like, I could link it here.

posted a message on Scoreboard help needed! Tracking blocks mined.

I'm looking to implement a couple scoreboards on my 1.16 SMP server once the update releases.

I want to have the TAB screen display ancient debris mined and a nametag (under the players name when you're close to them) that displays diamond ore blocks mined.

I know how to do this but there is an exploit that I want to prevent and I'm not sure how. The exploit has to do with the fact that the scoreboard tracks blocks mined even if the player is using silk touch, which allows players to continually mine the same block to raise their numbers.

Can someone help me adjust the scoreboard so it only tracks the blocks if the player IS NOT using silk touch. I found a hint but I still can't figure out exactly how to make it work. Hopefully someone can help me with this! Here is the hint I found:

Really overthinking this one lol. Just use “mined:minecraft.diamond_ore” only for people whose nbt=! Selected item:{tag:{Silk touch enchantment}} and is instead nbt= Selected item:{iron pick} And the same command for the diamond pick.

In short, we want the scoreboard to update as long as the pickaxe the player is using does not have the silk touch enchantment. Thanks in advance for the help!

    does this work?

scoreboard players remove @a[scores={mineOre=1..},nbt={SelectedItem:{tag:{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:silk_touch"}]}}}] realOreMine 1

scoreboard players remove @a[scores={mineOre=1..}] mineOre 1

So you have the same scoreboard type but it's not the "true" ores mined. When the player holds a pickaxe with silk touch and mined the ore, it removes 1 from the real ore mined and stuff.
