After setting up the default mincraft server I decided to start installing plugins. With the default minecraft server I have a working port fowarding that outside my network can join in. However when I load the bukkit server it failed to open the port so that friends can join the server. I can go bak to the default minecraft server and everything still works.

Ok ignore the above post, I'm a complete idiot. I failed to place modloader back in the #1 position. :/

Yes it is placed directly in the .mincraft folder, is it just me that is now having this problem?

Hey FC, the player names are not showing in servers even though I have set "fcEnableHardcorePlayerNames=0" in the config file.

When I unpatch BTW the names come back.. Any Ideas?

COOL!!!, After your latest update my BTW mod is working again. Not sure why but all I did was replace the old one with the new and all is well now..

I was using "03" so I download the latest and started all over.... STILL NO JOY!! Still have the black screen of death.

OK, now that I am loading it via MCpatcher which I suspect is the way it should be done. Rather than manually putting the files in the .jar file with 7-zip.
I am now getting this conflict.

Yes that was what I meant by "install". I guess patch would have been better.

I'd advise downloading a fresh install of MC and start installation over from scratch. Plenty of people are obviously using it without issue, but every once and awhile, installs go wonky and starting fresh is the way out of that.

As I noted in the first post I installed with a fresh copy of MC, installed mcpatcher first then mod loader and after that installed BTW, I also tested the game after each install and all was working until BTW was installed.

I installed MCpatcher first and all was well, then installed mod loader and all was still well, upon installation of BTW...... CRASH!!!!!

This was on a fresh copy of MineCraft 1.4.2 ...TIA
