I believe I would be a great applicant for the position of trainee.

For starters, I am dedicated and conscientious.

Additionally, I am circumspect and tend to do my jobs well.

Next, I know my way around the guard commands.

I like to believe I am easy to talk to, so being an active and respected part of the community is no problem at all.

I've never received an infraction while playing on the server, nor do I intend to.

Furthermore, I have a ton of time on my hands. I plan to submit at least three hours a day of guarding during the summer.

Finally, I'm very reliable. If anyone needs me for anything, I welcome them to message me over Skype, Steam, or TeamSpeak.

Just link the new one here, viper, then request a lock here, using all new info. I know you want a website started, however, lots of people are gained through the forums. Hope things go well!

Regarding what Stray has posted I can say that I don't 100% support the idea. I had my own idea on how I think opples should work. I am therefore going to post my idea here and would like your opinions of it.

Firstly, the opple must be made in the same way it used to (gold_blocks + apple) but it must be made with mined gold. This means that any "AdminShop" purchased gold would be lored something like "Purchased From AdminShop" and could not be used to make the opple.

So you then have a old regular opple. Well now this opple could be eaten and it would just add hunger and do nothing effect wise. This opple then requires being put in the enchantment table (or something similar like a custom GUI i would code) and enchanted like a normal item. This would then work the same way as normal items... Chances of getting the original OP opple (but would have a weakness effect to slightly nerf) as well as getting opples with other effects like a lower level enchant could get just Regen IV, Just fire resistance. A Higher level enchant could get Regen IV and Resistance but also get like Slowness too making that opple less appealing.

Also as quests / parkours are going to be greatly reduced, harder and less rewarding it would mean that levels would be harder to get.. This means that to get a good number of opples would be extremely hard and may just mean there is a guy PVPing with 1 opple with Guards with no opples and they can all stay alive while he opples (pretending he has a good enchanted one) if they take it in turns to go in as the main person and use health pots to stay alive meaning PVPing with like 10 opples would be extremely costly. Also the chance of you having 10 opples with the same enchants (bearing in mind 1 thing different with an enchant means it won't stack) would be rare and the chance of you having 10 and a guard not having a high amount would be unlikely too.

It could also happen that if you opple you are vulnerable when it wears off... For e.g weakness 4 for 10 seconds with resistance -2 meaning that opples would hopefully essentially come life savers (used to save your life and not kill another guard while you cannot die)

TL;DR: Opples are less common required to be made with mined gold and then enchanted. This adds chances of getting negative effects too on the opple. Levels will also be harder to get meaning getting large numbers of opples would be extremely hard

Sounds good, except for the part where you mentioned quests. Harder and less rewarding, no point in doing them I guess, wasted space. Thanks for what good has come from this I guess. Just blacklist opples, there I said it.

That isn't the point, hence why it looks like you are getting no support to the idea. Just keep them out, or remove ALL potion effects when you eat them. Regular golden apples have a small buff, no big deal, removing all buffs from the opples would just keep people from buying it. Simple stuff. For a dev, I think you should study more player actions, get some testers in, see what happens. This is completely my opinion though, so take this advice at your own risk.

What server are you typically on the most - There are not really any server I play a lot, but it used to be convicted prison server.

What time are you most often on? - This really depends... from 9am to a possibly 9 pm, I usually wake up later or go to do something else before 9 pm though Can't play on sundays fyi

When did you first play Minecraft, how often do you play? - First played in 2011, Beta, I play almost every day.

How would you rate your building skills 1/10 (Image?) - A 7 maybe, I don't do building often, I'm applying for mod

Do you know any coding? (HTML, Java, C++) - Sorry, but no.

What is your previous experience in any type of staff / dev? - Yes! I have been a warden on a prisoner server, now closed. I was also a mod on a server up for around 2-3 months, closed do to a major hack and I was a mod on one other server so long ago I can't remember.

What would you be doing for the server when it's released? -I would guide new players, and make sure no trouble arises from anyone.

Do you fully understand the concept to our faction servers and can provide players
with basic useful information when required ? (as well as basic Minecraft information).Yes, I can and will.

How many hours can you contribute per day? - Like I stated before, it really depends but 4-5 hours a day, switching it up

What advice would you give someone who had to deal with people younger than them? - "let them cool off, then calmly talk it out with him/her"

How would you handle a situation that got out of control ? I would calmly assess the situation by asking all partys one at a time, then based on their facts and a third (trustable) party's facts, I will make a descion on what to do

Past Experience(please list at least 3 servers and where I can find them):

1. On the server convicted, I was on the guard staff, idk if that counts, but I helped with other things at the time.(Search the server name on the forums)

2. On Carcere prision server I was a Warden, Admin position, and I worked there until it closed for an indifferent amount of time.(Same as number 1)

3. On an age old server I was a moderator for around a few months when they closed, they never has any sort of forums, sorry.

What can you bring to the server: I can bring a level of calmness and maturity that needs to be instilled on a lot of members, if you don't think so, wait after the server has been up awhile and just watch.

How would you best diffuse an argument between two or more people?:Listen to each side as carefully as possible, then find out who is right with the right facts of a third party, not being to harsh on either party

A player is continuously spamming the server what do you do?:First warn nicely, if it then continues, warn a little harsher with a threat to mute, if it still occurs, mute

A player is complaining that he purchased an item from the shop using real money but did not receive it. What do you do? Contact the owner or person in charge of the web store asap

General info about your self: I am in high school eight now, after summer break I will be in 10th grade. I am great at [persuasion, which can help in some situations. I am also kind to all as long as I am respected

What will you do in the case of a hacker, or repeat offender in the case that he must be permanently banned?:I will first ban if serious enough , then contact owner or co-owner to go into more detail, or who ever reported it.

a player is using derogative, racial and other slurs towards other players, what do you do? I will first warn with a serious hint, then I will mute if it reoccurs. I seriously don't like this kind of thing...

How many hours a day can you play?: Possibly 4 or more over then summer, once school starts maybe 2-3 at MOST. I can't play on Sunday either, but that's just one day.

What will you do if no one needs help while you are online?:I depends partly based on who is online, but I might do something fun with the players, like an event or sorts!
