Levos was born two years after his mother and grandmother travelled to Iratar. He grew up in relative safety, staying in a group of other Fenrel for most of his life. He heard stories of Eirenia, and of Myrail, Isra, and Altheum. He always thought of the old lands and gods as wonderful and he could see on his mothers face how she missed it as she told him the tales. When he was very young, his grandmother gave him a small, old rebec that used to belong to his grandfather. As Levos grew, he learned to play it, and became quite good for a small child.
When Levos was almost 10, the camp of Fenrel he and his mother were staying was raided by a group of traveling bandits. No one was killed, but several people were wounded, including Levos' mother. After that, she decided it would be best if she sent her son somewhere safer than the corrupted Iratar. She had heard tales of the Crystal Isles, but the bandits took anything valuable she could have traded for passage to the Isles.
Over the next few weeks, Levos and his mother travelled to the coast to try and find someone that would take them. His mother tried everything she could. She offered to work for anything she could trade, she begged for any sort of money, and she even tried to get the sailors to smuggle them on board. After another week, she still had no way to get her and her son to the isles. It seemed hopeless, she had nothing to her name, and it was too late to return to the group of Fenrel they were with before.
The day before they were going to leave and try to find another port willing to take them, a man met with Levos' mother, and offered one open spot on his ship, in exchange for the antique instrument Levos owned. At first, she declined, hoping to be able to stay with her son, but slowly, she realized that it would be best if she sent him on without her. The morning he left, his mother told him she would come as soon as she could, and to expect to see her soon. She knew it would break his heart if she told him the truth.

Livia turned to the man sitting next to her. “Are you going to the Crystal Isles too?” The gruff looking man looked at her for a second, and said “No, I work for the Cap’n. We’re usually just fishermen.”
“Oh, I hear it’s spectacular. I’m Livia, by the way. My dad was a fisherman back in Eirenia. We lived in Dreai City, you know. My mom wasn’t around, though, she died when I was little, I hardly even remember her. But my dad did a good job raising me. I had a perfectly normal childhood.”
“I’m Lief.” He was looking down steadily, obviously not paying attention to what the girl was saying.
“In fact, when I look back, it seemed a little boring. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, I was happy, but I always had this feeling that I was destined for something more… You know what I mean?”
“Aye, I never really wanted to be a fisherman… Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be an explorer. My Pa-"

I'm sure you have all sorts of crazy stories about what happened after the Embrace."
"Aye. We was out at sea and our captain ran out of his bunk room and yelled to all of us "Men, you-"

He taught himself in the different sciences of the time, and made many discoveries himself.

A chance to actually accomplish something that would help people. He decided that he would leave one month after his birthday, but his mother could not go with him. The traveling group had become dependent on her leadership, and they feared the Crystal Isles would be worse than staying in their homeland. Timothy departed from the company of the people he had grown up with, excited to see the new land. Excited for all of the things he could accomplish, and for the people he would meet.

Before the Final Embrace, Nickolas had a successful life. He was raised by his grandfather in the upper class district of Ithica. His grandfather was a smart business man, and had already amassed a great wealth by the time his son died and left him with his two year old grandson. Because of his grandfather's wealth, Nickolas was raised as an aristocrat, and was hardly required to do any physical labor. However, he was able to get a good education, and on his 20th birthday, his grandfather passed on his business to his only grandchild.
For three years, Nickolas ran his grandfathers business, increasing the wealth he already had. His business success also backed his social success, as he climbed the social ladder and soon joined some of the wealthiest people in Ithica. Of course his economical and social success bloated his ego, and soon he would not even speak to the "common folk". Instead, he sent messengers out to deal with personal matters that his grandfather would have dealt with in person. Being in the group of socially praised makes one a target for young women, and Nickolas was not an exception. Nickolas enjoyed being a bachelor, but he could not help falling in love with a woman named Scarlet. He loved everything about her (especially that her father was exceptionally rich, and also quite old and frail), and they were married soon after they met. Shortly after their marriage, they had a son, Richard, who would be the heir to Nickolas's vast fortune.
Two weeks and three days after Richard's fifth birthday, the Final Embrace came. At first, Nickolas thought the strange shards from the sky would effect him and his family little, but soon they began to hear of a strange illness spreading from the impact sites of the shards. One of his messengers described it as a curse from Yerietia, and that it stopped for no man, woman, or child. Five days after the Embrace, the plague reached a small village near Ithica. It was then that Nickolas first saw what the plague truly did to its victims. Nickolas organized an effort to build a wall around his community, thinking that if they kept the corrupted out, they would be safe. The wall did protect the people from the victims of the plague, but not from the sickness itself. After a few weeks, Scarlet started showing signs of the illness. Nickolas wasn't sure what he should do, what he could do, and he eventually decided that, for the good of the community and his family, he would send his wife away to a small village he had heard the plague had not reached yet, thinking that if she escaped the reach of it, maybe she would not suffer the same fate as the others. Unfortunately, by the time he had made the arrangements, Scarlet was far gone, and he knew it, but didn't want to admit it. He sent her off with a few of his servants and young Richard, hoping that he might be able to escape he whole ordeal.

Living inside the walls started out all right, with the community sharing any recourses they could, generally concerned with the welfare of the people who had been their neighbors and friends for years. After almost 14 years behind the wall, the people living there were almost to their breaking point. A few grouped together and began pillaging other's property, stealing anything that could help them survive. Nickolas realized he was a target, and that he had to escape. He planned to go to the village he had sent his wife and son 14 years earlier, and he made plans to travel there with the rest of his loyal servants. One night, when the moon was full, he opened the gate in the wall, and rode out on a small wagon with three men in his employment.
After two days of riding, they came across a small fort, protected from the Corrupted by a small wooden fence. When they entered the gate Nickolas asked what had become of the town he had sent his wife and child to. He learned that it had been completely taken over by the Corrupted a little more than 13 years ago, and he was told going there was a lost cause. Upon hearing this, Nickolas lost all reason to live. He thought this way until a strange man who only called himself a Stranger came to the fort. The Stranger spoke about a wonderful land, free from the curse of corruption, ruled by a magnificent Queen. He said that She would be willing to take any survivors into her kingdom, and they would be free of the Corrupted and the plague itself. Nickolas realized that this was his only option in order to stay alive, and set out to find a ship that would take him to these marvelous Crystal Isles. He finally found a man willing to take him, but the captain saw Nickolas was a wealthy man, and charged him almost all of the gold he had taken with him in his wagon. As they set sail, Nickolas thought about his vast wealth and place of power he had lost when the Final Embrace came. He thought of all the pleasures of the well-to-do life he had missed in all these years, and he planned to have that again in this new land, serving the Queen that had opened her lands as a refuge for the survivors of this horrible ordeal.

Nickolas organized an effort to build a wall around his community, thinking that if they kept the corrupted out, they would be safe. The wall did protect the people from the victims of the plague, but not from the sickness itself. After a few weeks, Scarlet started showing signs of the illness. Nickolas wasn't sure what he should do, what he could do, and he eventually decided that, for the good of the community and his family, he would send his wife away to a small village he had heard the plague had not reached yet, thinking that if she escaped the reach of it, maybe she would not suffer the same fate as the others. Unfortunately, by the time he had made the arrangements, Scarlet was far gone, and he knew it, but didn't want to admit it. He sent her off with a few of his servants and young Richard, hoping that he might be able to escape he whole ordeal.
The next years of his life, Nickolas could only remember as a blur. Living inside the walls started out all right, with the community sharing any recourses they could, generally concerned with the welfare of the people who had been their neighbors and friends for years. Gradually, over the course of the years, people began to show more of their true selves. People that had been raised on the ideas of jealously and greed began to lash out at each other, accusing each other of hoarding food, thieving, and even creating the plague so they could steal the wealth of their neighbors. Years of being inside the wall slowly drove people blind with greed, and some even with insanity. Nickolas was no exception to the breakdown of society, and his arrogant attitude toward others he thought were beneath him only became worse. After almost 14 years behind the wall, the people living there were almost to their breaking point. A few grouped together and began pillaging other's property, stealing anything that could help them survive. Nickolas realized he was a target, and that he had to escape. He planned to go to the village he had sent his wife and son 14 years earlier, and he made plans to travel there with the rest of his loyal servants. One night, when the moon was full, he opened the gate in the wall, and rode out on a small wagon with three men in his employment.
After two days of riding, they came across a small fort, protected from the Corrupted by a small wooden fence. When they entered the gate Nickolas asked what had become of the town he had sent his wife and child to. He learned that it had been completely taken over by the Corrupted a little more than 13 years ago, and he was told going there was a lost cause. Upon hearing this, Nickolas lost all reason to live. He became depressed and surely would have taken his own life. He viewed the world as a lost cause and that the plague had surely corrupted the whole planet. He thought this way until a strange man who only called himself a Stranger came to the fort. The Stranger spoke about a wonderful land, free from the curse of corruption, ruled by a magnificent Queen. He said that She would be willing to take any survivors into her kingdom, and they would be free of the Corrupted and the plague itself. Nickolas realized that this was his only option in order to stay alive, and set out to find a ship that would take him to these marvelous Crystal Isles. He finally found a man willing to take him, but the captain saw Nickolas was a wealthy man, and charged him almost all of the gold he had taken with him in his wagon. As they set sail, Nickolas thought about his vast wealth and place of power he had lost when the Final Embrace came. He thought of all the pleasures of the well-to-do life he had missed in all these years, and he planned to have that again in this new land, serving the Queen that had opened her lands as a refuge for the survivors of this horrible ordeal.

Have you ever been banned? Yes or no? If yes, why? Yes, but it was because of a corrupt admin that ruined a server, and also by a hacker
Why do you want to join this CTM map server instead of a regular survival or creative server? I've never seen anything like this before, and it looks like fun. Normal survival has gotten boring, so this looks like a great new way to play.
