There are flowers in winter biomes dude. Those flowers don't have snow on the square, so it makes it look ugly and unfinished. That's what I meant, I just put up the funny title for the lulz.
Minecraft is kind of a RPG already guys. Anyway, I think that there should be a vanilla game mod that is basically minecraft right now. There could also be a mode that might have human NPCs etc wandering around.
They need a nerf. If I put flowers/roses over objects it increases the time to harvest the block by 0.0132 seconds. Besides, flowers often get in the way of snow. I think notch needs to add a new block that can have snow, dirt, and a flower on it.
So bows aren't complicated? There is no fine line from things that are simple and things that are complicated. In my mind, bows aren't that much simpler than guns. Like, you know those fancy hunting bows that are modern? Why can't we have simple bows (spider string and wood) and simple guns?

Think more of a gun as a slow, long reload thing. This could include heavy bows or crossbows. I don't mean complicated guns that are in real life. I am more talking about things much more simpler than muskets for an example.
If people actually start to care about this idea, I will edit and put a good amount of detail why I think guns will be implemented. I think some people have really good points for it.

The bow isn't balanced. It's a machine gun, atm. I think Notch will fix it to be more like an actually bow (bows take what, 12 seconds to load?) but I don't think you should take the bow seriously at this point of Minecraft development. Anyways, endgame guns could be more like crossbows where the ammunition is heavy and powerful, but with drawbacks like firing speed and reloading times etc.
I don't really see why he wouldn't? Minecraft is already a very organized civilization in many servers I find. Now, keep in mind when I say, "Gun." I am talking about an instrument that shoots something, that has some sort of firing shaft and longer reload time drawbacks. I am not talking about AK-47s or rocket launchers. It makes sense, right? I think it would be fit into the game very easily and be balanced.
I think Notch should balance big trees. You know those big old trees that are so big they have branches? Is it just me or is it kind of a pain to 1. Chop down the trunk 2. Make scaffolds 3. Trim leaves 4. Harvest branches
I think if you remove a wood log to a branch log, the branch log should fall off. I also thing that there should be two different blocks for branches and for trunks. So if you got a branch log it would become a trunk log (normal log as is now) in the inventory format.
EDIT: (Also have the branch logs transfer to normal logs if they are removed in any way, only natural trees with trunks can have branches)
