What kind of government is an Imperial Republic? A republic has elected official and legitimacy of the government rests of the masses, and empire is usually a monarchy (hereditary or elective) or an oligarchy. Is it suppose to be a Democratic Empire (a nation that internally democratic but imperialistic on the outside)?
I have always wondered how a true monarchy would work. Would it be a clan of players be considered a dynasty and the leader chooses an heir to take over if he dies? I need some help on this, I was wondering if any of you could have an idea on how a true monarchy could work?
Not really towny as in a plugin. My friends and I build towns that are populated by other friends. But since we are going for a feudal-like society, we need noble ranks. We don't what the requirements for each rank would be if the feudal ranks were "Minecraft-ify" it.
My friends and I are trying to implement noble titles into our server, but we don't know what should be the requirements for each titlewould be and what must you have or do to advance up the system. The list of titles we have is:
I agree. I thank you for your inputs. It has been nice to meet someone with similar interest in this level of knowledge. Again, thanks for ideas, they have been thought provoking. GG man, GG.
Well that does help a lot as it would make sense. I want an hierarchy because RL society is not immune to the virtual worlds. I have seen of a few servers that there are a rise of social (not a staff rank system) stratified tribalistic warrior societies. I was thinking a fairly simple system of stratification that is so subtle to us that may not be recognizable is a kratocracy (rule by the strongest). The PVPers with better loot would dominate a group of players, some will become his followers (a retinue) and will gain spoils of war as payment for service to him. Some will try to gain control of this retinue by dueling to the leader and victory would land the victor as the leader and the strongest member of this group. An excellent and popular, though fictional, example of this is from the Warhammer 40k Orks. Ork fights to grow in height and strength into a Nob (member of Ork aristocracy) then to Mega-Nobs (mechanical-enhanced Nobs) to a Warboss (tribe leader) then to a Warlord (leader of multiple tribes).
I was wonder if like that could be done in the context that minecraft players could dwell in these towns, but I do like anthropology and history, so 4 thumbs-up for you sir
I am always build simply-designed medieval towns that would be act as actual player towns using Custom NPCs Mod, but recently, a question has become a stumbling block for me. The question is that would there some form of social hierarchy in a town like this. Not like a server's hierarchy of Mods-Admins-etc.
And if, so what would these social classes be then, what would you call these classes, and how would you rise up this social ladder?
Would there just be a leader and his townsmen?
Would it be a warrior society of a warlord giving control to members of his retinues?
Answering this would put my mind at ease, and I can resume with having conflicting with myself about its society.
Also, this does not need complex. I would prefer ideas of a 2 or 3 tier hierarchy within independent communities ran as if there were actually players. But, if you want to, you can put down your complex systems too, I like history and the social element of anthropology. Thanks for any ideas that you give.
I have question about the mod: Is there a way I upgrade the follower NPCs in survival without the NPC wand? I wanna do something like Mount and Blade: Warband in which you can make a party of troops and minor heroes, and for the troops, you can upgrade them into higher-tier troops.

I'm just wandering, no need for an argument.

I sorry for asking this, but how do I check my drivers? I'm not a tech-savvy millennial.

Whenever a world is created is fine, everything work ok.
But when I re-log, it flashes terrains everywhere and the block that were there are still there.
I thought this was fixed in previous snapshots
I would appreciate any help or insight. I really would like to play the snapshots, but this... whatever is preventing it. Please I would like the help
