An evil force begins to rise from under the town. Microwaving all animals that dare to tread near! W.I.P. Microwave will be added soon.. maybe even a video
It really is a great invention and it should be very useful in faction server. If we could find a way to hide the wires like using tripwires and dispenser or item transporter with stairs so water isn't visible and you could send information to all of your station including hidden station in ennemies' bases. I'll see if I can upgrade and I'll post the world download on this thread. Nice discovery again!
Thanks man! As far as the wiring goes, I'd make the building underground. Especially if it's on a factions server
Pretty cool. Maybe you could use a beacon with morse code to give the signal some range.
I could most definitely do that IF I knew morse code xD or if my clan/server mates knew morse code, which I highly doubt. They'd probably think it's just some kind of a underground rave party
I started Minecraft in Beta 1.2 or something.. The ORIGINAL Beta, not the second one, and it was sometime before beds were implemented... I started somewhere around 2011 when my Uncle showed me the game for the first time. It was unlike anything I ever saw before.. an absolutely beautiful game with endless possibilities.. I built a two story fort out of wood.. Not planks, just wood. This was because my uncle didn't explain to me that I could turn wood into planks, but it did look pretty cool back then. Nowadays, the world generation is what gets me the most. Some people complain about the new content, and I don't mind the weird and new content, but I don't really travel to the End or fight withers, use banners, ride horses, etc. The world generation is what bothers me.. It seems like the worlds provide me with less creativity and beauty than they did before.. they just seem odd and most of the time, uneven or ugly. I miss the times where I could build bridges across the beautiful rivers I once knew, or the nice, flat plains that hardly required any terraforming than they do now. Now they have all of these new biomes, some of which are pretty cool and useful.. I absolutely love the jungle biome..... I don't know.. I just have a thing for running around in jungles and being hidden. Kinda reminds me of Rambo I guess. And the Dark oak forests are PERFECT places to build eerie stuff because they're really dark and dense, like a satanic forest with a hidden temple, or abandoned, creepy looking buildings.. I don't care for the acacia, swamp, or mushroom island biomes though because they simply don't have anything to offer to my interests in minecraft. I, personally, like to build creepy things on community servers for people to explore with great awe to make them feel uneasy and entertained at the same time, so maybe some of these things vary from person to person, depending on what their interests are in the game. Also, maybe some of us feel nostalgic about minecraft because it no longer feels new to us anymore.. I mean, you guys have to admit that the first night was probably the most exciting, or the few others that came along afterwards. How impossible it felt to survive in the dark, how uneasy you felt mining in those dark, deep caves, knowing that a creeper could blow you to pieces in a matter of seconds, the unquenchable thrill of finding diamonds, the really cool creations you build or the amazing ideas you had at first before singleplayer bored you to death, maybe even the nice communities you had begun to play with, which are now dead and long gone, but still apart of your history in minecraft and you may or may not forget them. All I'm saying is, being as broad as minecraft is, we might have varying opinions on how we feel about the game, depending on what we wanted out of it, and maybe it's just the old joy we had, or as you call it: The Golden Age, and the fact the for some of us, that Golden Age is gone and we strive so much to feel it again. It's happened to me in SERVERAL games that I loved, and I hate seeing it go every time... Sometimes I wish I could erase my memory about a certain game so I could play it over and over and over and continue loving it no matter what
So today, I decided that I wanted to make something really interesting in Minecraft. Something along the lines of what could be an easter egg hunt for the people on the server I play on. After doing a bit of research, I've taken quite a bit of interest in the mysterious numbers stations across the world that have been around for years in some cases, broadcasting who knows what to who knows who. In case you don't know what numbers stations are, they were basically radio stations set up in certain places in the world that broadcasted random numbers or sometimes morse code, which were believed to be secret orders for spys committing espionage on other countries, especially during the Cold War. In fact, there are some numbers stations that are used today, even the ones that existed during the Cold War since they're basically impossible to track. After doing lots of complex redstone programming, I've finally come up with this:
This numbers station is programmed to transmit only 3 words: "It is at". This was just a simple test, and the more letters required, the more mind-raping and complex it becomes. Below is an explanation of how it works.
Each redstone lamp you see here has a sign under it containing a letter of the alphabet, adding up to 26 lamps total for endless possibilities (depending on your patience and sanity). I flip a lever, it activates all the letters I programmed, but the thing is that each letter is programmed to be activated at a certain speed in order to transmit the proper message, this is done with the constant use of redstone repeaters which delay the redstone circuit's activation slighty. Of course, this is Minecraft, so I can't build an actual functioning radio station with sound (as far as I know.. You could probably make morse code with doors, but I'm not wanting to make it that hard for my server friends), so I had to do it this way. I will program it a certain way with a daylight sensor so that the message will be broadcasted once a day at the beginning of each day. Also, I will hide encrypted coordinates across maybe four points of the map leading to the numbers station, which will lead to another interesting place, and so on. I understand that I probably didn't conserve redstone in the most efficient way, but that's because I was in creative mode and simply testing. Let me know what you think
Why do you want to join? I'm looking for a nice military clan to spend time in to make my Minecraft experience a bit more interesting
Are you currently in a clan or have been in one? I've been in quite a few clans before, but the previous clan is practically dead so I need a new one.
What country are you from? America
On A Scale of 1-10 how mature are you? Pretty sure I can be a 10 but on average maybe 7
Do you have any military experience? Real life and Minecraft simulation. (Cadets count)/ I was in a military clan in Minecraft a long time ago but I didn't get to be there for very long because they became inactive.
How old are you? 18
How Many Hours Do You Play A Week? Depends on how much I have to work, most likely 10-20
What time are you usually on? If it varies just give a rough estimate. 12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Central time
Why Should you be accepted into The 25th ? I am a bit of an analytic person, meaning that I like a strategy, I'm pretty decent at pvp, I'm a pretty loyal person all around, I love participating in anything military-related/tactical and can be a leader if the need arises. Also, I'm really good with PvE and have some neat tactics with each mob.
