I was thinking you could enhance the shears with the mushroom peelings, to make like a special mushroom peeler. Something like endless mushroom peeling without durability loss.
    Meh, that's just me.

I respect your opinions, but how could adding soft mushroom peelings improve shears?

You can't craft mobs, or plants, why would you be able to craft sponges? you can't craft living things.

*cough* *cough* Iron golems *cough* *cough* Snow golems *cough* *cough* Wither *cough* *cough*

But on a more serious note, how in the world could wool and ink make sponge?

    Supported.
Should be able to craft the peels into something though.

    Thanks for support!

As for the peels, I'll be thinking as to what can be crafted out of them.

Can they be crafted into mushroom blocks as well?

    Full support.

No, but you can grow huge mushrooms and use silk touch to collect the pore-filled blocks and just stick the peels on them once placed.

    And thanks for support.

    3333th post!
    Introduction:
We have the feature which allows us to use Silk Touch to collect mushroom blocks, don't we? But do we currently have the ability to keep the side textures, or do we all just get the brown stuff? There is currently no way of legitimately obtaining mushroom blocks with the differently-textured sides and this idea is made to fix that.

    Mushroom Peelings

    Obtaining:
You can collect this by shearing a textured side of a mushroom block. The color you'll get depends on the texture you sheared off.

After shearing off the side, the texture will turn into that boring insides.

(Note: This will damage the shears by one point.)

    Usage:
You can right-click on any side of a mushroom block while holding a mushroom peeling to change its appearance to the corresponding texture.

(Note: If ever you make a mistake, you can shear it off again.)

    Quote from gamelover85

In the past I've made some suggestions and for the most part people have booed me off the stage. Hopefully people will actually be in favor of this one. I was wondering if a new feature could be added to minecraft that would add a waypoint to where the bed is in my house. So I can explore out further and not have to stay so close to home. Getting lost prevents me from actually exploring the world cuz I always get lost. I tried the compass, still get lost. I used the map but the map only covers so much land. The map would be great if it could cover more ground but it doesn't. Am I the only one who gets lost in this game? When I do get lost, I can't find my house anymore and end up recreating a new house. I had to have done this at least 10 times. I'd get lost so quickly and would have to restart from the beginning. If only there was a waypoint that indicated where I place my bed and I could just follow the waypoint to where my bed is found and it would really help out ya know? Anyways....

For stained clay, it's a well documented series of color variants. For flowers, it's like they picked 5 random colors and turned them into flowers.

Those 5 new colors of flowers are a series of color variants. For the dyes, colored wool, stained glass and stained clay, it's like they picked 16 random colors and turned them into the aforementioned.

Yeah, there's my confirmation. You're dodging posts now.

Alright I'll give why I chose a live sheep:

Sheep barely have a use. Sure, they make great wool source for beds but after that, wool is just mostly for aesthetic purposes.

Fallen into the wool. The sheep eats the seeds, thereby making the wheat drop which then gets stuck in the wool.

So you're basically just right-clicking it onto the sheep? I guess that's close enough to my suggestion.
