I have all of our users in the member list and their groups access works fine but how do I set this so random people can only visit not build anything?
Yeah it's going to make things a lot easier for our new members to see where people are and possibly make things better for all by showing in between areas to build. I rather the new people stop expanding outwards and fill in between...
Generally speaking the main public server for now is the survival as the build server was just an experiment to practice our building skills but we might merge the maps later on. The buildings on the Build server involved a lot of work and at the time we were worried the Creepers would completely wipe them out but now since we are using World Guard we do not have to worry about it and we are using World Guard to prevent Fire spread so it will prevent griefing with Fire and TNT. Plus we back everything up to a separate reliable hard drive.
Within our community we have coders and game developers so hopefully over time we will be able to keep things the way they are as Minecraft updates. My main concern is just keeping what we utilize from the plugins here running like hmod or whatever is the best community based administration mod with plugin development as I do not want the commands or what we have to make any drastic changes.
What we are mainly looking for are people who are great builders with the theme of midevil structures and villages. Now with the next update we will have water mobs I been creating deep oceans on the server so hopefully we will be able to take advantage of it!

Hello everyone I am the guy that had created and runs our game servers.
Raserisk is a fine member who has been with us for about a year now and he likes to be social and get more people involved within our CozWorld Community. We have a bunch of great people working within our community. Sadly a lot of people miss out how great we are because of my poor advertising skills! :tongue.gif: All of our Minecraft servers run off of a Dual Quad Core Zeon server which makes it a total of 8 whole core's of CPU Power with 28GB of RAM.. Which means nothing other then we can handle anything Minecraft has to though at us! And I am not Challenging Notch to challenge it!
We have been and always will maintain a clean sensible atmosphere where we do not tolerate destruction of ones intellectual property nor will we tolerate complete chaotic behavior.
I stress that all of our build access members create an account on our website and join our TeamSpeak 3 server because I want our community to be a social one! I hate rude unsocial people!!!!! I am a tuff guy but the softer side of me wants nothing more then to make friends and for people to enjoy themselves with in our community.
I pay for everything in regards to the server and I maintain everything... All I ask of our community members other then enjoying themselves is to behave somewhat rationally. I do not know how many more years I am going to be sponsoring games and mods for the world but as it is I think I can survive another 20 or more years at this!

If you own Steam and had played Source games and mods you probably seen our CozWorld servers if not please check them our we host about 20 different Steam games and mods! We also host Unreal Tournament servers as well as 8 Killingfloor servers! We also have a ton of servers we launch on the fly for fun whenever we feel like it!
I am our #1 Network and Security guy and I also maintain the server and keeps things up to date so sometimes I'll be going AFK which means I am adjusting something or updating something... We do have a great staff of IT people and Coders in our community that guide me. If there should be a major issue and sometimes there is I will throw in the towel and let them handle things...
Our server box itself has about a 100% uptime with me occasionally rebooting our server box for Windows 2008 updates but that's like maybe onces or twice a month depending on how important the update is. Our server has about 6 Hard Drives for both back up and of our game servers and website!
I have a few communities I post information too and some of them auto update from the other communities which make things easier for me... I am always looking for more people like Raserisk who want to promote our community as I am not good at it seeing how I am always busy trying to enjoy play games and working keeping things running smooth for everyone!
Stop calling it "Survival Multiplayer" until you fix it so it actually is survival.
I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I am frustrated. We don't care about the halloween monsters or "hell". We just want multiplayer to be like single player!!!!
All of my friends are pissed off that we cannot play "Survival Multiplayer". When is this going to be fixed!? Please don't give us the same bullsh*t answer "When Notch feels like it." Yes, we know the game is still in alpha. Duh. But we want to play SMP. In the mean time the least you could do is STOP CALLING IT SMP! IT IS NOT SURVIVAL MULTIPLAYER!

We host a bunch of Steam games on a dedicated server box I built for our Community/Clan located at a Data center in Ann Arbor Michigan!
The dedicated server is way over kill for MineCraft it was originally meant to host UT3, TF2, Battlefield 2142 servers but we are now just hosting one MineCraft server.
I would like to use sub domain names for separate servers if anyone knows how to set it up in Windows Server 2008 please join our TeamSpeak 3 server give me a hand because I would love to host 2 build servers one private and one public and a few public survival servers!
We are currently looking for new Steam members and clan members but would prefer you own steam games if you want to be in our clan...
We will be allowing random players on our Dedicated Survival server once Notch releases his Masterpiece release on Oct. 31st! It will be a fresh server if we do not find a way to host more then one server! We will keep the current server backed up for Adventure mode if it ever gets released or created...

We been working on it for a while now and decided to let people come on and check out what we built!
Our server is open 24/7 on our dedicated server box using a 100MB up down connection...
To join our server just put cozworld.com in the IP box. We will be adding subdomains later on for people to join our other servers whenever we get to it! At this moment we would just like to allow people to visit our creations and later on we will be accepting applications for building rights like other servers...
At the moment we are deciding on how to allow people to build on our MineCraft servers and how we will host public servers... Just waiting for the survival updates mainly...

What we want is to have senior builders who want to add to our current theme as we hope sooner or later down the road that there will be an Adventure mode and we will either use the existing server or will cut out certain designs or remake them for a new server!
