I recently built a large mob farm for a let's play here:
I used dispensers with water buckets to push the mobs off the platforms. I've been battling this issue constantly. I thought I found a workaround. I removed all the dispensers and used water source blocks with pistons opening and closing to give the same effect. I thought it must be the dispensers causing the issue.
Sadly, this didn't fix the issue either. It still occurs even with a standard source block and NO dispensers. If anyone knows a workaround since it doesn't appear 4J cares enough to fix this farm-breaking bug, please let me know!
Hey guys! Check out our Minecraft Let's Play for Xbox One. We're 5 episodes in now. If you enjoy this episode, please go back and watch the other episodes in this series
We just started a brand new Minecraft LP series on Xbox One. I'd really appreciate any views and feedback on the episode. The goal of this series is to be an accelerated Let's Play that focuses on cool builds and redstone contraptions every episode. Of course this first episode consists of us getting our bearings in the new world. Watch for episode 2 to be released next Monday!
I've made 2 short videos with 10 tips each. You may know some of these, you may not. I made these hoping they would be helpful to some people. If you already know all these, (I'm sure some of you will) reply with some tips you think other people may not know

This little cooked chicken farm is one of my favorites in the game. It's super small and simple and I usually build one in all my worlds.
