    So let's say I like the torch texture of a certain pack (pebbles 32x32 gives a lantern texture if placed on top a block) but also like the rest of a different resource pack (Chroma hills). Is there a way to put that torch texture into the chroma hills resource pack and have it all as one?



    I've tried loading both packs at once after going into the chroma hills.rar and finding torch_on.png in "blocks" folder and deleting it, which I was told would work since it would replace the missing torch texture from the resource pack below it in the selected pack list but it instead just used the default torch texture instead of picking up the pebbles lantern texture.



    I don't know much about resource packs and haven't really messed with 'em too much because I'm afraid of breaking something lol



    What can I do to achieve my goal? I'm sure it's possible somehow..

    You mean where it says that Optifine is not fully compatible with Shadersmod? I am aware of that but it doesn't explain why Chroma Hills is all screwed up and why Pebbles 32x32 is completely normal. Even with my default minecraft textures I get messed up and glitchy windows, but pebbles is working 100%. What's in the Pebbles resource pack that can fix it?

    So firstly I'm running version 1.8 with Shadersmod 2.4.4 (SEUS Shaderpack), Optifine HD Ultra B5, and patched with mcpatcher.





    I am trying to use Chroma Hills resource pack but when I enable it in-game I get there weird tears and discoloration in some of the textures. Certain blocks still seem to be unscathed (Obsidian, Emerald Blocks, Netherock, etc.) But stuff like Cobblestone, Stone, Glass (all types) are just a lost hope. My action bar displays everything without a problem, cobblestone looks the way it should in my hands but when i place it it goes all whacky on me. The ui seems normal as well as the fonts, it's just objects placed in the world that are messed up.





    What can be done about this problem? I really want to use Chroma Hills. :(

    So first off I'm running my profile on version 1.8 with GLSL Shaders 2.4.4 (I tried different shaderpacks and they seem to change nothing for if you need to know it's Sildurs or Ziipzaps), Optifine HD Ultra B5, and I ran mcpatcher before I installed both of those, so that's my current set up. Now my problem is when I load up Chroma Hills in-game it gives me this weird texture issue, everything placed is all messed up and torn, the colors are all off as well. I've tried on both 128x128 and 64x64 to no avail.

    It seems to only be certain things, emerald blocks, netherbrick and obsidian etc seem to be unaffected. Also on the scroll bar at the bottom the items appear completely normal and textured, the ui works well along with the font. I've tried three other resrouce packs and they all work like a charm (Pebbles, John Smith, and Golbez)



    What can I do to fix this? I really wanted to use Chroma Hills

    Can't wait to play, the last couple 1.9pr4 servers I have played have been hellholes filled with griefing, stealing and assholes. I'm sure this server will restore my faith in the Minecraft community :smile.gif:



    It barely lags and has some really nice people, good server.
