    Quote from Dry_Taste

Works pretty good, except for multiplayer (forge 1180, 1.7.10 vanilla software). The rain switches on and off so fast that its hurting my eyes in multiplayer. Can you perhaps fix this when you have the time?

I had the same issue. Try deleting the config files on the server and upload your own from the client.

posted a message on Biomes O' Plenty - Over 50 new biomes, with new trees, plants, mobs, and more!
I don't understand why Biomes O' Plenty has to be the one to have it's IDs changed to accommodate another mod.

Honestly, it's just a couple of IDs and with the current system in place there's not a whole lot modders can do. Even if the TheAdubbz were to change the IDs to work with Twilight Forest chances are it would result in one of the many other biome/dimension adding mods conflicting with Biomes O' Plenty, and then what? There's not nearly enough biome IDs to juggle all of these mods at the same time. It's impossible to satisfy every user who refuses to change a couple of IDs and expects modders to do all the work for them, even when it could very well cause more problems than it solves, especially for users who were otherwise running Biomes O' Plenty just fine with their own assortment of mods.

The stone texture used for each block is the stone that would be there if it weren't ore. So just as you can have different stones next to each other, you can have different ores. Not too often, but sometimes. For the vanilla ores I could have taken over ore generation to make each deposit all the same but that wouldn't get along with mods to ore generation and would be impossible for mod-added ores (since I don't know how they are placed.) So the way it's done now is that ore are placed by any other methods, and then UBC comes along and swaps them with the UB'd ores - just like it does with vanilla stone, basically.

I *could* use the base stone for the biome for all ores. Aesthetically I thought this would be the better choice as the ores don't disrupt the strata layers. If there's demand I can put in a config option.
That explains it. I suppose it could be an interesting option to have, so people can choose which way they prefer having it done.

It looks like gold ore isn't being utilized by the overlay system. It's only spawning as it normally does with the generic stone texture and I don't see any UBC gold ore blocks in creative.

Would it be possible to add compatibility with Underground Biomes Constructs method of having the textures of ore overlay on its custom varieties of stone? Here is a post from the author explaining how support can be added. I can only imagine how nice it would look underground with all these different varieties of ore Metallurgy adds embedded in UBC's many types of stones. I think the two would compliment each other quite well in making mining that much more interesting.

Indeed, the patch resolved the crash and it's working just fine now.

Have you checked to see if it's BoP + TF, with UBC not involved? There's actually a post on that in the TR thread (although the poster has posted here too, so...) Especially with "default generation", which I assume means undergroundBiomeActive = false, i.e. just default stone in the world. UBC really shouldn't be doing much then - there's one point where it clears some vars that shouldn't even be getting used, but we setting off the "already decorating" error.

If UBC is part of the problem, post the world-specific config too.
I encountered the same crash a while back, but I'm curious too so I decided to test it out. Using BoP, UBC and Twilight Forest I created a portal and entering it caused the game to crash:

Removing either BoP or UBC allowed me to load the Twilight Forest with no crashes, but using the two together would reproduce the same crash as above.
