    Quote from Luckyzin

    Egg: Only hatch when near level 15 Light. Being "Tamed" Only makes him not attack you, and attack hostile mobs when he leaves the lair instead. It needs 500 Of each meat to do that.

    What do you think 'bout it, OP?

    If you're going to be able to ride a dragon that can spew fireballs, no matter what the fire rate, it should require a massive "offering" like a pile of over 1000 meat, not scales. I know they would be a bit hard to get, but if I were a dragon and you offered me scales, I would identify you as a threat and either fly away or roast you.

    I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. What's happening is that I built the golem on the road and it keeps getting in the backyard.

    That's what I thought, but I now see that I failed to say that the golem should only walk along the gravel road, unless a zombie gets into the village, when it will proceed to charge towards the closest zombie at top speed.
    (this may make it worse though considering the poor generation of gravel roads).

    posted a message on Bonus Chest: The Sequel... BONUS HOUSE.
    This house is so awesome I can't help but support it.

    I could care less about the enchantments, simply because any enchantments on the easiest to get tools won't make them much better. Leather armor only gives you 3.5 armor points (a point blank creeper explosion would probably still kill you), and I never make any wooden tools other than a pickaxe, because after I make a stone pickaxe I can easily get a half-stack of cobblestone by the time the sun sets. These enchantments basically make the tools you can get from the house half broken stone tools.

    P.s. the first thing I'd do when I encounter this house is rip up part of the floor to make a bed.

    This should be a rather simple fix. The only issue i see is that possibly the iron golems are spawning in the backyard. If this is the case the golems should only spawn on the gravel blocks in the first place.

    posted a message on Improvements to Iron armor
    After reading through this entire topic, I have come to notice how complaints about a simple tweak can easily become a barrage of near hate comments. To make this easier to obtain for some, while retaining the concept of making iron armor harder to get, I would like to offer the following related additions:
    1. Make pigs drop a new item pigskin (or just call it leather), which can be used instead of leather in these recipes
    2. Re-add the option to make this new iron armor with wool in addition to leather and the new pig drop
    (I recommend this because I doubt anyone is unlucky enough to be unable to find cows, sheep, and pigs on the same map.)

    Furthermore, I have to agree with Poryy and Kholdstare in that this isn't much of an increase in iron necessary. 29 ingots is only 5 more than the current recipe. Or, if you want to make it with wool, you would probably want sheers, so you now need 31 iron. Aside from the leather or wool, 7 more iron ore should take only 2 more minutes to get. To add to this "reality check", crafting this marginal amount more of iron into iron slabs should take less than 30 seconds.

    However, wouldn't the skeletons running away make getting records (CD's) harder?

    I think they're supposed to be hard to get. It's kind of dumb though because the shortness of the audio clips on the CDs makes them almost not worth it, other than as a collectible.

    I think a paritial explanation for their poor attack tactics is the fact that they can only see the player from 16 blocks away. Simply increasing that would make them slightly more of a threat, but you seem to understand this topic more than me, which is shown by the extensive explaining. I support.

    posted a message on Fixing The Villager's Dilemma-(Villager AI change only)
    I support. Especially about always having at least one golem. I was frustrated with a village on my current world, so I used the new cheats to build a golem in creative so the noobs would at least have some protection.

    If you were to replace the sticks in swords with blaze rods, the only burning involved would be the burns you'd be getting on your hand.

    posted a message on Bounce Blocks
    If you like the idea of bouncing around, check out the More Pistons Mod. It has this cool things called gravity pistons, which, when facing upward, can launch gravity affected blocks and mobs about 20 blocks into the air. But that's probably too overpowered for your liking. It did look pretty cool though when Yogscast made an iron golem bouncy castle with them and pressure plates.

    posted a message on Earn a good or evil reputation with the Villagers!
    I like this system of reputation. But how do you feel about a small portion of your good or bad reputation extending over to other villages? This effect would gradually fade as you get farther from the village where you have this strong influence. I think this would make sense because you could be a "legendary hero" or a "terrible villain", who is feared or loved throughout the land.

    This is pretty brief. How many hunger points would they restore? Can they be eaten raw? Where can you find them in the world? How many peanuts are collected per harvest? What does the plant look like? Do I really need to list how many things are missing from this?

    posted a message on villages with stores
    Not to be bothersome but:
    1: emeralds are being used as currency for trading, with every trade involving them, not sure if you were aware (maybe the title trading is misleading, perhaps buying/selling makes more sense)

    2: this kind of thing has been suggested repeatedly before, look up "merchant villager" and you'll see what I mean

    posted a message on Golden doors [Actually though out idea]
    This sounds great, and it shouldn't be too hard for minecraft to record who crafted these doors and keys.
    This may be obvious, but the door should be invincible when locked, but your key recipe is already for a golden helmet
    Maybe this instead:
    ggg
    ggg
    xxn
    x=nothing
    g=gold ingot
    n=nugget
    Or it could be made to not require the top row of ingots

    This kind of thing would be perfect for adventure maps, where you find keys in random chests in dungeons or villages and search the world for the doors they unlock.

    I understand what you're thinking, but pure gold is a very soft metal, so golden arrowheads make no sense.
