Nice seed - could make a pretty cool survival base in that bay.

posted a message on Introvert Or Extrovert?
I'm kind of upset by the introverts on here saying they'd rather be extroverts. I'm an introvert, and completely happy with that fact. I don't think I've ever 'wished' I was an extrovert just to be the focal point at a club or to pick up. I do get slightly annoyed that people confuse being introverted, with social anxiety or rudeness - it usually comes up when I'm not joining into small talk. I don't find it necessary to sit there and talk for the sake of it. So, I'm not sure one is better than the other - they just thrive in different circumstances.

I've heard all this before. You could pretty much substitute London for Melbourne - it's exactly the same argument that's been used over and over again. Funny how people are suddenly worried about 'the Arabs and Pakistanis'. Pre 9/11 it was the Vietnamese who were trying to 'steal our jobs and create a little Hanoi'. It's an argument that is based on nothing but fear of anyone that isn't white.
If people actually checked the numbers, they'd realise the number of people seeking refuge in Western countries is huge, yet the number we actually accept is bugger all. Those that are accepted, don't create communities because they're part of a takeover conspiracy, but because they're driven to do so but instilled racism, fueled by political discourse.

It would be like a hetrosexual man having sex with another man (Imagine they could make a baby). It's not worth it in their opinion.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Did you mean in your opinion?

Well...I don't know. Popularizing some details about who the shooter was are kind of important in order to figure what made him do what he did; lest someone see similar conditions in someone else they know but not do anything to prevent them doing something radical themselves. But then of course covering it would also encourage such a person to do said radical action.

    Bit of a paradox there.

I know what you're saying - but I'm not sure the media has ever been useful in assisting to figure out the motives of a killer - that's always concluded by professionals.

Nobody is asking for your help. Its not wanted or needed.

I don't think this is true at all. I'm sure a lot of people would accept the offer of spiritual guidance or assistance from a church. I personally know of a few reformed addicts that received a great deal of help to overcome their problems after a kindly encounter with a few Christians. In my town, Christians are always the first to offer assistance to the homeless and the elderly. I don't think it's all about converting people - many Christians dedicate their lives to assisting people in need because they think it's the right thing to do.

One of the major reasons I don't think I could make it as a vegan.

I have made the attempt to go vegan a couple of times but I always end up caving when I spot the block of Mainland Tasty Chedder at the supermarket. I can't help but admire vegans.

I'll have you know "social justice" is the derailment, and YOU are attempting to derail the conversation. You are clearly a bigoted idiot, so stop replying to me because nobody likes a hypocritical, self-contradictory, devil's advocate, extremely condescending in all the stupidest ways, in-one-ear-and-out-the-other bigot. I will have no more of you or any other SJW full of hogwash.

You are the only one who has been condescending and rude. My last reply only addressed a clear lack of understanding of the issues. I make every effort to stick to the topic, and address the arguments - you argue with false assumptions and have now resorted to personal attacks. EDIT: I've noticed you removed the sections referring to me as an 'idiot'.
You're actually a shining example of why the trend exists..You've managed to take a platform for women to share their personal experiences of misogyny, sexism and sometimes revolting sexual behaviour, and responded by loudly claiming the discussion is 'blatant misandry' - choosing to ignore those that oppose your view. It's wrong.

I'll stop this discussion now, but only because I feel my posts haven't helped Azem's topic.

Yeah, you clearly don't understand the message. You claim you have an 'IQ above room temperature', but clearly don't know the meaning of sexism, discrimination, misogyny OR misandry. I know you're happy to throw the terms around, but it always helps to have some understanding. So, ignore me and everyone else and go back to your efforts of derailing conversations regarding social justice. Good luck.

I would love to hear the opinions of all Minecraftians on the effectiveness, usefulness, and enjoyability (or annoyance) of Hashtag Activism. On facebook, one person responded saying that we should all go out and be active; on Simtropolis, people are arguing about what to call the # symbol (I personally pronounce it as pound but number works as well); and here, we have a side-conversation about "feminazis."

    --Ocram

Apologies Azem. My posts didn't exactly attempt to answer your question.
