I can appreciate what you're trying to do here, and I'm sorry that it's not going too well for you guys. I'll have to admit that I miss running The World of Nagura. Even now I can't seem to find what I'm looking for when it comes to vanilla servers.

I'm a computer savvy guy with a love for videogames, and digital music. I work full-time, and use my sparetime for games or game development. I've currently got a game of my own that's been in the works for 8 months now, and I'm seeing to it that its finished by the end of 2015. I'm a veteran player of Minecraft (alpha) looking to get back into the business of surviving & thriving after a year of absence.

Have you played on any other servers and why did you stop? - I've played on other servers, but they never stuck around long enough for me to get comfortable in.
Why would you like to join the server? - Because it offers a tight-knit community with a core vanilla gameplay environment.
What is your forte in minecraft? - Building, and managing.
How often will you be online? - My availability is based around my work schedule. If I'm not working, I'm either on my computer or spending my time outside. If I were to make an estimated guess on my availability on the server, we'd be looking at 1-3 hours. Of course, that can change based on what I'm working on, whether it'd be mining, building, or the likes.
Any questions? - With your strict whitelisting process, how often do you remove members from the community, if any?

A couple of your members logged into my server, and started spamming your server IP. I can go into the server logs, and fish out those two particular players for you, unless you sent them out to solicit on other servers.
It was an absolutely disrespectful move on their part, considering that we're commercial-free, and give to charity. Hope to hear back from you, soon.
You're very enthusiastic to look for a job here on the Minecraft Forums, but I highly doubt that you would get a paid job unless you were a very professional builder specializing in architecture & design, a programmer, or graphics artist. There are dozens of people that come onto these sub-forums to find a chance to do free volunteer work for building everyday, and unless your work is top tier, the chances for paid work is very low. This has nothing to do with your age, either.
As a recommendation, you should upload and post your work here if you're really looking for that chance of a job, and it will greatly improve your resume at that as well.
Your work, and past actions will say much more for you than a set of text.
Sure! I always ask for help in testing things, and on many occasions even host some fun activities to catch a break and loosen up the anxiety for the server launch that most of our playing veterans have.
We've got everything setup, and it's just a matter of polishing and making sure everything's working as it should leading to the launch. We had a pre-development thread for the server last year in August to ask for volunteers.
Ventrilo is always up for chit-chat, and I'm always on it when I'm not sleeping, working, or going out to places.
Oh shoot! We don't launch until May / 10 / 2013, and we have an unrestricted age requirement for our community, but I can guarantee you everything else; especially a professional administration team! If there's nowhere for you to go by the time we launch, do give us a try!
