Aug 26, 2014Hey, I cannot open Forge. I have Minecraft 1.7.10, Launcher 1.5.2, and the recommended Forge 1.7.10. The Forge profile is there, and when I click Play, the cursor makes a circle for 6 seconds, and the Launcher closes as if Minecraft is about to load. But that's all it does. It goes back to Desktop and never opens.Posted in: Java Edition Support

Aug 26, 2014Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanismshttp://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Detector_Rail It emits signal when a mine cart goes over it. You can take the power from its side or from below making the redstone hidden.
Rail junctions work in a funny way sometimes as they act differently in S-N or E-W orientations. To power them properly do like this: Remove and replace the junction piece of rail. If it is surrunded by 3 other pieces of rails it will assume its proper default position. Under it place a redstone torch. Run a wire from a detector rail to a side of the block the torch is sitting on.Of course you can power a junction from a side on the ground level but it never looks good. On the other hand, you don't need a redstone torch.
ahhhh............that's great! thanks. what i need is someone to play with :-/ im not exactly redstone savvy. but thanks!
Aug 25, 2014How can I make an automatic (no player input needed) rail switch. Example: I get in a minecart, down the line i pass a pressure plate and the track automatically switches at junction.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
