posted a message on Pillager Recruitment

My suggestion is that when Pillagers meet a baby Villager. Instead of killing them, it would instead kidnap the baby villager to potentially either turn it into a new generation of Pillager or hex it to turn it into Illager Beast

posted a message on New Functional Blocks! Opinions?

Honestly i'm not too keen on the idea of separating it. It destroys the simplistic nature of the game which is the reason why everyone loved it.

I feel like Mojang wants to turn Minecraft into something else.

posted a message on Anyone else agree that Minecraft needs more realism, and less fantasy?

I'm getting sick of all these new updates mostly adding weird fantasy items

In a game where you can punch trees to obtain it's wood, where zombies existed, where skeletons becomes animated and shoots bow.

This is one of the argument used by us pre-1.9 pvpers, Minecraft is not meant to be realistic. The new 1.9 combat approached the "realistic" path and resulted in many people hating it. Seems like the view of your new "Minecraft" game would only satisfy you, of course you would reply with this...

By the way, I do recall seeing a poll on this site recently, in which more people voted for realism content than fantasy, so I'm not unique in my preference.

You are still unique in your own preference even if you show that presumably hypothetical poll. why? Because the idea of a game like Minecraft being more "realistic" is already very abstract. There's a lot of way and alternatives Minecraft can be more realistic that actually opposes your view of the game.

For example, your wish is for some sort of water pipes and slightly advanced technology, but in my view of Minecraft being realistic, every item obtained in the game should be in the form of primitive technology, therefore opposing your view of the subject. And others probably just want shaders or graphical update with no gameplay change whatsoever.

posted a message on 1.9 combat system being toggleable

Support Now everyone will no longer screech about the whole 1.9 combat changes. Also still baffled by those who disagree, would you enjoy the game with maxxed brightness and volume and with no way of changing it? No! By the way, the people who disagree should also look through the perspective of old combat veterans. The game keeps the old combat for 6 years. We perfected the combat for that many years and yet out of nowhere, Mojang decided to changed it.

posted a message on Wild Mobs: New and unique mobs in the style of vanilla Minecraft

This mods has some very huge potential. Thought not a big fan of the new "fur" and other animal skin drop. Not because it's a very bad idea, it's great! and i know so many effort has been put into these mods. But knowing this mob should be "vanilla stytle". Adding a new armor is just isn't, i don't know? minecrafty... it brings obsolity to regular leather armor. I love the new armor as a non-vanilla themed item, but they aren't really original. Hopefully you find a way to make a better and unique use for it.

That's a critic, now into my suggestion:

    Desert:

-Vulture: i think it's a cool mob that makes dessert more exciting.

-Tumbleweed: It can be a mob and a block (shulker basically). This "block" will roll around the dessert in one direction, and those direction applies to all tumbleweed. When it's rolling, it will have the same collision rule like a boat. If a player touches the tumbleweed they will get hurt or (25%) inflicted poison. It has a chance of standing still as a regular block too after rolling.

    Roofed (Dark) Forest:

-Minotaur: replaces the existence of cow. A strong but slower than zombie that wields either wooden or stone axe.

-Satyr: replaces the existence of sheep. very quick and wield a dagger.

-Dark Witch: replaces the existence of Witch.attacks like witch but can also summon vampire bats. These bats will attack you like vex, but slower.

-Veiled:every 10 skeleton, a Veiled will spawn. Veiled is a skeleton, covered in black cloth. It shots arrow that blinds the player. And can also teleport like enderman, but instead of leaving purple particle. It leaves black smoke.

posted a message on combat in 1.9 good or bad?
    Quote from AaronBlader12»

Personally i like the 1.9 combat system. I'm not into pvp and such, i only played minecraft for the building and survival. Here is the point why i love he new combat system. I sometimes play dark souls for monster slaying or pvp since they require more tactics than minecraft before 1.9.

minecraft pvp has always been strategic before 1.9 the "combat" update.

    1. You can fight a bunch of zombies easier. With sword swing, thank's to 1.9. I don't have to spam clicking one and another zombie continuously. Good for pve, but bad for pvp.

    2. pvp require more tactics. I'm not into pvp but i have tried enter pvp server once and my goodness how boring, i can spamclick fast. But it felt like minecraft pvp is too... basic. aren't 1.9 pvp is boring.

3.Now i am interested in pvp as it has timing and trade hit which is kind of similar to dark souls (and i love dark souls pvp). This is minecraft not dark souls. No wonder why mojang implement this unoriginal combat system.

I think 1.9 pvp is terrible. For those of you who said spamming is not skills. It's not just about spamming. Timing jumps for crits, jitterclicking, avoiding hit, and much more which makes the pvp intense. And also makes player even more creative by selecting their suited pvp resource packs, etc.
