Well, recently i decided to go for a swim. One thing led to another and i wound up horribly lost. So, i figured that if i found some Redstone, i could make a compass, which would take me back to my spawn, and thus to my house. I found a nice cave, and decended deep underground.
About 20 minutes later, i had redstone and iron. I made a compass, and followed it. I believe i ran for 10-20 seconds, before going over a hill, and falling onto the roof of my house.
