    Character Information

    Name: Noirin Dorl

    Age: 32

    Race: Human

Physical description: Noirin stands at around 5'2", a bit shorter than most humans. His soothing jade green eyes seem to have a hunger in them. He makes sure he's always dressed nicely and his hair is under control. He's a bit on the skinny side, not looking like he's done very much manual labour in his lifetime.

Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):

Born to his alcoholic parents in the seedy part of town just outside of the main bustling city of Rinion, Noirin didn't have any good influences growing up. His parents constantly fought and cursed, ignoring him most of the time. The only thing he learned from them is the effects of alcohol.

The lack of good parental figures caused him to have to learn how to fend for himself, quickly he became a petty thief and quite rude.

When he turned fifteen he moved out of his house and into the city to get away from his parents. He continued his thieving but had to pick up a job working on the docks in order to pay for taxes.

After having worked on the docks for a year he learned of a lot of the main companies of importing and exporting. One of the main ones he noticed was the Crimson Co. He heard a lot of hushed talk about them from the other workers on the docks as well. Apparently they dealt most of their business through coercing and blackmail. Noirin instantly had an idea formed. He applied for a job with the company even though he didn't know much about how the business actually ran, but they still hired him because of what he was willing to do and because of his street smarts.

He was often sent as a bodyguard with a representative of the company to keep people in line. During these trips he was often called upon to intimidate or inflict injuries.

He was quite likes by the members of the company and was eventually taken under the wing of the owner, Ritoul Crimson. Ritoul taught him of the inner workings of the company and taught him the skills of forgery. it was Ritoul who also taught Noirin how to negotiate and run a business.

Noirin quickly rose through the ranks of the company and eventually took over the whole company when Ritoul passed away of a sickness. He ran the company well, some might argue even better than Ritoul had. The company grew over the next four years until it became a bit too big.

Noirin was twenty-two when The Emperor of Man had gotten word of the Crimson Co. in Rinion and so he sent a fleet of ships to go and arrest them. Luckily, Noirin had gained word of the incoming fleet a day before they arrived, quickly and quietly taking his things and getting on a boat with his main advisors he sailed his way to Arturan, hoping to hide away.

They managed to hide for a year and a half before they had been sold out by one of the elves whom they had tricked out of quite a bit of money. Without warning the Confederation was upon them. Many of the company was captured and arrested but Noirin along with the final three of his advisors fled into the jungles of Mezenia where they came across a tribe of wild elves. The elves regarded them with interest and so they kept them around. One of the wild elves happened to have a knack for voice impressions and taught Noirin everything she knew. As well as how to speak Wild Elven. One day they strayed a bit too close to the edge of the jungle and were captured by a group of slave traders. They took everything they had and locked them below deck. During the trip aboard the ship, one of the slave traders didn't take kindly to Noirin's attempt at negotiating his way out of the chains he was locked up in and taught him a lesson by breaking his leg. They didn't set the leg so it couldn't heal properly. They ended up docking at Alann to sell them to the merchants to use as ship hands and moving cargo. Noirin took his chance to escape after two years with the merchant he was sold to.

Hobbling in to Alann with nothing but the clothes on his back proved to be a mistake. He quickly collapsed from dehydration.

Noirin woke up in an Alanni camp. Luckily they had gotten to him in time to save him. He recovered in the camp over the next few months. They were a tribe of merchants and old members of the Alann military, moving often to avoid raids from the Savages to the north.

He stayed with the Alanni tribe for another six months after he recovered and helped them with fighting off the savages as best he could when they came. Unfortunately, it's hard to let old habits die and Noirin continued with his stealing but being such a tight knit group as it was they instantly suspected him and had him locked up right away. They kept him at the centre of the camp tied to two horses and bounded by the arms and legs with more rope.

A few weeks of this and slowly working away at the bonds with a sharp rock he'd picked up his rescue came. The savages came down from over the ridge in the night, catching the Alanni off guard and beginning to slaughter them. The Alanni, slowly coming to their senses fought back and were slowly winning the battle. While this all happened, Noirin had cut the ropes binding his legs and arms as well as one of the ropes holding him to a horse. Noticing the battle being won by the Alanni, he picked up a sword from a weapon rack and hopped onto the second horse he was still attached to. Riding up behind the ranks of Alanni he swung his sword like a madman, taking out a few with the sword and plowing the rest over with the horse. The Savages quickly took this opportunity to dispatch the Alanni that were run over and took out the rest of them with ease. Meanwhile Noirin was cutting the rope that attached him to the horse.

The Savages kept him to travel with them and he fit right in with the band of cutthroat bandits. They travelled all along the Horizon raiding the Beschwall farms often.

When they got closer to Drunn, Noirin split off from the group of savages and made his way underground to try to find treasures. He created another business and hired quite a few half men miners to work for him. Within six years he was quite wealthy, though tired of being underground. He handed off his business to one of the half men and made his way to Norland, buying passage on a ship to Enris. He saw the potential to make enough gold to create an empire and he planned to seize it.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To recreate his business empire in Thaeron.

Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Doesn't like people doing better than him. Has a constant limp because of his broken leg not healing properly. Character Information

    Name: Genivo Sienna

    Age: 30

    Race: Drow

    Physical description:

Standing at 5’6” with well-defined muscles, Genivo keeps his white hair brushed back away from his face. His outfit seems to be that of a hunter, but has some sort of insignia on the back that hints otherwise. His eyes are a bright green almost like the grass in the summer months.

Screen capture of your skin (I recommend uploading to imgur and posting link here): http://imgur.com/ZFrjGbd

Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):

Genivo was born inside one of the many cave systems under the surface of Horizon. Due to being surrounded by savage tribes, the drows who lived in these cave systems often sought out the tribes for employment. Genivo’s father was one of those people, often leaving Genivo in the care of his half-uncle while he was away on business. It was from this uncle that Genivo learned how to use his dagger. His uncle, being a quite devoted follower of the Weaver, taught Genivo to perform sacrifices and rituals as often as he could.

His father wasn’t always away however, and ended up teaching Genivo one of the skills he would probably use most in life which was how to use the crossbow. Since his father was often performing assassination jobs for the savage tribes he had become quite efficient with the crossbow and passed that skill down to Genivo. His father also taught him how to speak savage so that he could take jobs in the future.

Using his crossbow and dagger, Genivo became popular among many savage tribes, and quite hated among others. Occasionally when he took a job, he’d capture the target instead and sacrifice them to the Weaver. Eventually, a few of the savage tribes had had enough of him, and chased him out of Horizon.

Ending up in Alann, he tried to settle down in one of the towns near the border upon moving in, he learned that people often looked at him with distaste because of the fact that he was a drow. Nonetheless, soon after his arrival in town he was ordered by the Alanni that if he wished to seek shelter in their nation he would have to be trained and join to fight in their military. Having nowhere else to go for the moment, he did as he was told. The Alanni didn’t like that he used a crossbow as a weapon and quickly began teaching him how to use a longbow instead. After a few years of service, he’d worked up enough gold to leave Alann. After hearing about recent events in Enris from people escaping the area, he decided to get on the next ship there in hopes of finding work.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):

    To find work in Enris.

    Strengths (Both physical and personality):

Genivo is a skilled archer with both the bow and the crossbow. Having learned how to use both, on top of his skill with daggers, Genivo is a worthy opponent in combat.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.):

Genivo has a lack of empathy due to the way he was raised and the work that he did. He has trouble gaining friends due to his bluntness and general arsehole attitude.

What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish):

Genivo is a rather blunt and sarcastic person, and is often referred to as an arsehole by others. Although it seems like he enjoys talking to others he merely does it for the sake of gaining information or in an attempt to get a job.

    Bonus Language (Caro is free):

    Character Information

    Name: William Roland

    Age: 35

    Race: Human

Physical description: William is a rather unkempt looking figure. Although the first thing you notice about him won’t be his dirty blonde mop of hair on his head, but rather his deep blue eyes which quite resemble the sea. He is rather well built, having been at sea most of his life and doing his fair share of rowing. He wears the typical warm clothes you’d find on most people from the harsh cold climate of Norland.

http://imgur.com/u3SYklU,XSYwVL0#0 (Posted in Tsev’s thread to see if he could edit a couple of things but this is basically it.)

Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):

William Roland was born in the cold harsh climate of Norland to a family of raiders. Son of Rinion Roland, rather well known sea raider, and Lara Roland. Norland being the harsh climate that it was, there wasn’t very much you could do for fun around. William usually spent his days growing up by the docks with his dad learning about how a ship worked and constantly asking when he could go sailing with him. His father seemed to enjoy replying with a simple “When you’re older,” The days when his dad was out at sea, William would practice using a long sword given to him by his father.

A year later, on his fifteenth birthday his father thought that William was old enough and would be able to hold his own if he needed to fight. Picking an easy spot along the coast of Beshwall with a plentiful amount of crops, they set out. Beschwall being peaceful as it was would usually be victim to raids like these. The raid went rather well until they were on their way back to the ship. The owners of the land they were raiding were trying to bar their path back to the ship with simple farm tools. Standing no chance, they were cut down with ease by the ship of raiders. It was then that William realized what being a raider actually meant.

That raid changed him, instead of turning him into a mind-less killer, he became more careful. He tried to help his father plan raids to make sure no conflicts aroused and if they did he’d talk their way out of it. He became pretty good at this and was known by a few of the groups of raiders in Norland as a very efficient raider. No matter how hard he tried, conflicts still aroused often, and he began to get used to people dying. He accepted it as part of the job thought he still tried his hardest to avoid them though.

When he turned twenty, his father gifted him his ship and his crew so that he could retire. He continued work for a man by the last name Royland over in Beschwall which was quite safer than being a sea raider. William still occasionally visited his father from time to time.

For the next eight years he continued to hone his skills as a raider and became significantly better. On his way back from a successful raid in Forezzie he went to visit his father for the first time in a while. The person whom his father worked for didn’t like the idea of raiders walking around on his estate so they sent letter ahead and waited at one of the local inns. The next day his father came by the inn with the estate owner’s son by the name of Sterling. Sterling offered his knowledge and skills for the ability to travel aboard their ship. William, seeing the potential usefulness in Sterling’s abilities as a writer brought him aboard the ship as part of the crew.

Sterling’s agreed to teach the crew savage and in exchange, William taught him how to use a dagger. Sterling’s abilities with languages and paper and quill proved to be quite useful to find out around towns where their store houses are and a variety of other information. Sterling’s abilities with paper and quill proved helpful in deceiving many people as well. Together, they became very efficient raiders and well known along quite a few coastal towns. Sterling didn’t seem to take pride in being part of the crew; rather instead he enjoyed writing down their adventures in various stories.

They continued their work on and off for seven years until one day they were going for a raid on Enris when everything went wrong. The sea was pretty calm, there was a light breeze coming from the South-East propelling them towards Enris. A bit over halfway there, the wind died down to almost nothing. Twenty minutes later it picked up again, quite a bit stronger than before. A large group of clouds were moving overhead and William felt in the pit of his stomach at that moment that things were about to get really bad. Almost as soon as he felt that, it did. He yelled over the storm in his voice formed over many years of yelling commands for them to down the main sail, but he was a moment too late. The two members of the crew who followed his orders were sent to sea as the mast snapped in half, ropes catching onto other members of the crew. The ship careened sideways as the mast weighed it down. William, Sterling, and other members of the crew went to work cutting away at the ropes attached to the men tangled in them as the mast slowly slipped of the side of the boat. The managed to free a few of them before the mast went overboard. As the ship came back upright William ordered the crew to bail the water that managed to get onboard the others who weren’t got to the rowing benches to try to get them out of the storm. Then it got worse. The waves smashed them into the rocks near an Island off the coast of Enris. The ship quickly began to fill with water. William thought quickly and told the crew to grab a barrel and jump in the water. It was the only thing he could think of that gave them a chance to possibly live. Once he had everyone jumped in and wished them luck, he jumped in himself.

Luckily for himself, he floated onto the shore of the island. He quickly headed to the nearest town on the island hoping to get some food and water but most of all hoping there were others who survived the wreck. In town he was lucky enough to find Sterling at the Inn, but that was all. No sign of the rest of his crew. He hoped that they made it to a different island or were just somewhere else. He waited at the inn for a day with Sterling but there was no sign of them. He cursed himself for not knowing that the storm was coming and he blamed himself. He hoped that maybe some of them made it to the main island so he bought himself and Sterling passage onboard a fishing boat. They got warning from the fisherman that things on Enris were bad. He dropped them off at the Capital, Thaeron. William had hope that he would be able to find some of his crew here.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To find his crew, and to try to keep the fact that he’s a raider unknown.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): William’s skill with a sword is rather sharp. His ability to plan raids to be quick and successful helps him with problem solving. His navigational skills due to raiding at sea most his life are quite good. He can speak savage rather well thanks to Sterling.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Although William’s been at sea most of his life, he doesn’t know how to swim. The ice cold waters up near Norland have discouraged his learning. He also can’t read or write properly. Could be considered anti-social to some extent because he thinks that talking to people could somehow cause conflicts if he brought up his past.

What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish): William is a harsh character, which you’d expect of most from Norland. The difference between him and some of the barbaric raiders from Norland is that he tries his best to avoid conflicts that would end badly. He accomplishes this by making sure to plan raids to make them as quick, easy and conflict-less as possible. Although most people from Norland prefer ending disagreements with their blades, William prefers to try and talk his way out, usually in a deceiving way. That doesn’t always work however and William will unflinchingly kill if need be.

Bonus Language (Caro is free): Caro + Savage (Learned through travels with Sterling)

Character Traits (up to 7 points worth):

Simple Weapons Proficiency 1 (Training with weapons and being a raider)

Martial Weapons Proficiency 1 (Trained with weapons and being a raider)

Melee Conditioning 1 (Being a raider and familiar with his sword for many years)

Dodge 1 (Learned through his raiding experience)

Fleet 1 (Running all the time while raiding quickly)

Cross Country Runner 1 (Stamina from raiding)

    Light Armour Proficiency 1 (Raiding)

Talent = Orator (Being the captain of the crew require him to bellow orders loudly often)

    Character Information

    Name: Josh Green

    Age: 19

    Class: Archer Specialty

Physical description: Josh is slightly smaller than the average height for his age, standing at around 5’ 1”. He has a dark shade of green eyes and short, shaggy dark brown hair. His body type is thin but his shoulders seem broader than the rest of his body due to how long he’s used a bow.

Screen capture of your skin: http://minecraft.novaskin.me/#!skin=http://novask.in/4027170.png I edited the skin slightly to make the eyes darker the link is from the original before I darkened them however.

Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):

Josh was born to his parents, George and Lily, in the woods near the border between Braxia and The Kingdom and Eternal Dominion of Kastelm. He grew up usually bored due to not many people being around nears their house so he had not many people to play with or make friends with during his child years. He usually just shadowed his dad all the time. His dad taught him in his early years of growing up about which berries in the forest were edible and which weren’t. He also taught him how to be patience while waiting for game and how to track game. Although, trying to teach patience to a kid wasn’t the easiest task.

It wasn’t until Josh grew to about thirteen years of age that his father got him his own bow. He practiced with it as much as he could and quickly began to be able to draw the bow string farther and farther back. His shots were also getting better. His father, who helped him while learning how to shoot, would always make him run for a while through the woods if he lost one of the arrows that went past the target. Let’s just say, in the first bit of learning he had to do a lot of running. Eventually, he got better at hitting the target and, for the few arrows that missed; he got better at tracking it to where it landed.

It wasn’t until about a year after he got his bow that he began to try going out and hunting on his own. Of course his father, having more experience than him, would always come back with more game. Josh began to get better until about after two weeks of going out to hunt and getting nothing, he got his first hare. It was a rather good size and his father was proud when he showed up with it. For the next week Josh didn’t have much luck but he slowly began to get better until he was catching at least some sort of game almost every day.

For the next few years he continued to get better and better until finally, he turned seventeen. When he was seventeen he told his parents that he wanted to go see more of the world than just heir house in the woods. His father, who managed to see some signs about some expedition heading west when he was in town buying new arrows. So, Josh decided he was going to set off for a town named Roland’s field. Unfortunately, it was quite a long walk away from his home. So his parents, managing to scrounge up money which they were saving just in case Josh wanted to go somewhere when he grew up, bought him a horse. It was a nice dark black Braxian breed, not the greatest mind you, but Josh loved it. He quickly became friends with the horse which he named John and began learning how to ride it. After about six months, he was able to ride the horse fairly well. It might’ve taken less time if he had someone who knew more about horses to help him learn how to ride, but through trial and error and his father who remembered a bit about horses from growing up on a farm when he was a kid, helped him out.

So his parents gave him a bit of money and some food for his travels. There were many goodbye’s to be said and Josh promised to send letters to the nearest town once he arrived at Roland’s and from the expedition. With that, Josh headed off down the road. The travel was fairly easy, stopping by in towns along the way and staying for the night in inns. He was very conscious about all the people around him though. Usually he just asked for a room and quickly went on his way to sleep. Most of the inns had stables where he kept John in while he stayed in the inn. Once the food he had on him ran out he also bought a meal along with the room when he got to the inn.

It wasn’t until he was traveling up a mountain pass which would lead down the other side into Roland’s field the things went wrong. He got to the top of the pass fine and there was a bit of flat ground to travel before going down the other side of the mountain when some Bandits armed with weapons jumped out of concealments in some rocks along the side of the road. Josh noticed three men in total, two of them armed with simple short swords and another armed with a bow. Josh didn’t really know much about weapons aside from the bow but he knew that the swords were dangerous aswell and could kill him. The bandit with the bow told him to get off the horse and hand over everything he had. Josh, unsure what to do and being slightly scared by the bandits turned his horse and began to run in the other direction. However, he underestimated the man with the bow. He felt the arrow fly past his leg as it luckily missed; however, unlucky for the horse it hit him right in the heart. The horse dropped to the ground and Josh tried to push himself off in time but his foot got caught under the side of the horse as it landed on its side, dead. He gasped in pain as he felt like his ankle either was sprained or broken. He then turned and stared at John, shocked and in horror but quickly remembered the bandits were still a threat. He managed to pull his foot out from under his horse and was wincing from the pain in his ankle. He attempted to stand up on his feet but quickly found out it hurt a lot to put too much pressure on it. So, he kneeled down on one knee, which still hurt his ankle but not as badly. He looked up to see the bandits making their way down the road quickly. The two swordsmen were easily 30 meters away from him and the man with the bow was struggling to restring his bow which had somehow become unstrung. Josh pulled his longbow off of his back and pulled an arrow out of the quiver; no less than 20 meters away now, he knocked the arrow, drew the bowstring back, aimed at the first swordsmen, let his breath out and fired. As soon as the shot left the bow he knew it wasn’t the greatest, but it’d still hit the man. He quickly grabbed another arrow from the quiver as the first arrow he shot hit one of the swordsmen in the leg who quickly dropped to the ground. He then knocked the arrow, drew the string back, aimed, let out a deep breath and fired at the second swordsmen, who had taken a moment to pause and look at his friend who was lying on the ground in pain. Unfortunately for him, as soon as he turned back to Josh to charge an arrow struck him in the chest. Josh was just pulling another arrow out of the quiver when an arrow whistled past his head, making a cut along his cheek and jaw. Josh was stunned in horror for a moment, realizing how close he had been to death. He quickly recovered as he saw the man with the bow was grabbing another arrow slowly. He knocked the arrow, judged the distance, drew back the bowstring, aimed, let out a deep breath, and fired. The arrow streaked across the forty meter gap between them and smashed into the man with the bow's shoulder, knocking him back and making him drop the bow as he clutched his wounded shoulder. He looked up at Josh who was already knocking another arrow and realized it was dangerous to stay here. He quickly grabbed his bow and ran away. Josh tried to get up and winced as his leg still hurt horribly. He managed to tough it up and started walking after he said his goodbye’s to his good friend. He passed by the thrashing bandit on the road with the arrow in his leg and left the bandit in his pain blaming him for the death of John. He began to hobble down the road to Roland’s field. Once in town he quickly received medical treatment and told the guards of the bandits on the mountain pass. The doctor quickly stitched up the cut on his cheek and then checked out his ankle. It turns out his ankle was only sprained and it should heal itself soon but the doctor sent him away with some sort of potion to help him feel better.

After a week of being there, Josh decided to buy himself a dagger. He figured he could use something in case he had to defend himself in close combat.

After another few months Josh was on a boat heading to the new land. He had sent his parents many letters about how things were going and they were happy he made it safe, he decided to leave the part about bandits out of his letters and just said that John became very ill and passed away not long after they made it to Roland’s field.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To get to experience the world around him.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): He’s been practicing with a bow for a long time so he’s and is a very good shot. He was raised by his mother and father, his father being a hunter he taught him what part of an animal is edible, how to skin an animal, track, stay hidden, and what berries are edible. He’s also quick on his feet. He’s also learned to climb trees to watch for any prey from above.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Due to being lanky he’s not good at hand to hand combat. He can stab with a dagger but if it was a strength dependent fight, he’d most likely lose. Because he grew up in the woods with only his parents, his people skills are lacking.

In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)

Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home:

“Oh god. I knew I shouldn’t have chased after that boar.” Josh muttered under his breath as he winced with pain at putting pressure on his ankle. “I also shouldn’t have missed that bunch of rocks next to the little ravine.”

Josh looked down every ally, his hand on his the hilt of his dagger hoping that no thieves would pop out at probably the most vulnerable guy on the streets.

He looked up at the road ahead and noticed another man walking in the opposite direction, seemingly towards him. Josh gripped the hilt of his dagger almost white knuckled as he tried to stay calm. The man got closer and closer as Josh was about to whip out his dagger when the man simply turn and walked down the road to his right.

“Oh man, I thought I was done there for a moment.” Josh sighed as he continued on down the road, noticing the inn where he was staying a few doors down.

In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:

Josh walked into the tavern hoping to get a meal and looked around at the packed place, trying not to make any eye contact. While he made his way towards the bar however, an obviously drunk man accidently bumped him.

“Hey, what do ye’ think yer doin’?” The man slurred his words angrily.

“I-I’m just here to buy a meal…” Josh replied quietly, scarred at the big man standing in front of him.

“I don’ care if yer’ here to buy a meal, ye’ jus’ spilled me drink!” The drunk man replied back angrily pointing at the drink on his shirt then to his empty glass.

“I-I’m sorry?” Josh said as he starts to try and back up towards the door. By now, everyone in the tavern is watching the scene unfold quietly and Josh is uncomfortable with being the center of attention.

“Well, sorry doesn’ fill me glass does it?” The drunken man yelled back, the rage evident on his face as he smacks the glass down on one of the tables. “Looks like I’ll jus’ have to beat ye’ up!” The drunken man yelled as he balls his hands into fists.

“H-How about I buy you two new drinks!” Josh manages to say hoping it will stop the man from beating him up.

“I guess tha’d be alrigh’.” The drunk man replies, warming up to the thought of two new drinks. Josh quickly ran to the bartender and bought two ales for the man, sad that he won’t be able to buy a meal because he just used his money to buy the drinks, but glad that he’s still intact. With that he walked out of the bar quickly as some people were still staring at him.

Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:

“Well, do you accept the job?” The butcher, who’s Josh’s main customer of his meat asks.

“Y-you want me to deliver this poisoned meat to the man down the road?” Josh asks surprised.

“Aye, would you have a problem with that?” The butcher asks, holding his knife intimidatingly.

“Y-yes I would sir… That’s killing an innocent man and that’s wrong.” Josh say’s to the butcher, surprised that he would want him to do such a thing still.

“Well, if you won’t do it I can’t have you go blabbing to the guard about this.” The butcher began to walk out from behind his counter knife in hand towards a scarred Josh when, to Josh’s luck, a customer walks in the door. The butcher stops in his tracks knowing that he wouldn’t be able to get away with killing Josh while there’s a customer in his shop. Josh takes this moment to quickly walk out of the shop and down the road glancing back occasionally, afraid that the butcher may follow him.

    Character Information

    Name: William Rold

    Age: 25

    Class: Rogue

Physical description: William is a little bit over average height. Is strong. Has short brown hair. Has green eyes.

Screen capture of your skin: http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/3955365/medieval-peasant/

Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.): William was born in the Gart’nun Isles and lived there for most of his life. He was born into his family as an only child. His father, Garret, served in the Empiracle army and his mother stayed home to take care of him. His mother taught him how to read/write but other than that he’s for the most part uneducated. During his time growing up, his father had taught him how to wield a sword which William turned out to be very good at after years of practice on his wooden dummy. One of Williams best friends growing up was a man by the name of Rinion. He and Rinion were practically brothers, inseparable. That friendship dulled throughout life but it was there when he was a child nonetheless. William loved to run around the streets where he lived, enjoying a good race now and then. But he also liked to relax and read a book while sitting in the shade of a tree. Which, he would climb after he finished reading his book ofcourse. His father was a nice, caring man, but he always told William to live his life the way he wanted to and not to let anything stop him. His mom was always loving and encouraging to William. But for the most part, William was a pretty normal child, played around outside a lot with Rinion, loved to race, and enjoyed climbing whatever he thought he could, which he was very good at.
When he was around fifteen years old, his mother received a letter saying that his father had died in battle a week before. He and his mother cried most of the night, and then William began to get angry. The rest of the night he stood in his room smashing his sword into the wooden dummy until the sun rose and he was exhausted. Eventually, his mother began to run low on money, not having a job and with her husband dead, so William toke it into his own hands. Whenever he headed out he’d keep an eye out for anything that might be of value, then he would take it. For the first month or so of doing this he would be easily spotted but was quick enough to run away. Eventually he got the hang of it slowly and people began to not notice until he was long gone. His mother was always curious as to how he brought so much money in, but she never asked questions.
One day, about three years later, using the money William brought home she went out to buy some food from the local tavern when some drunken men started to harass her. She slapped one of them across the face after telling him to stop repeatedly. Then he hit her in the face. She headed home as quickly as possible, trying to hide the black eye that was quickly forming. When she stepped into the house William was there and he noticed her eye. He asked her if she was alright and what happened and who did this, but his mom wouldn’t say at first but after enough times of asking she told him it was two drunk men that were at the bar who harassed her so she slapped one and he hit her. William stormed out of the house, his mother trying to stop him but he just kept walking towards the tavern.
When he got to the tavern he burst in through the door and yelled at everyone, asking who it was that hit his mother when one drunk man spoke up and said, “Oi, was that the pretty lady that slapped me?” obviously too drunk to notice his mistake. William balled his hand into a fist and walloped the man in the face. A big bar fight broke out as William continued beating on the man until he felt satisfied. William strolled home whistling as the fight continued.
A few months later he told his mom that the life he was living here wasn’t satisfying him and he had decided he was going to head out in search of better lands and hopefully a better life. His mom didn’t want him to go, but she didn’t want to be greedy and keep him at home, preventing him from living his life the way he wanted to live it. He packed his bags and said his farewells to his mother. He walked down to the docks, bought a ticket onto the next ship and headed away from the island. While on the boat he was fascinated by how it worked so he spoke to the captain to see if he could perhaps teach him how to sail. The captain welcomed him with open arms and took him under his wing. William sailed with the captain for a year until he got the hang of sailing once he did he got off and entered the capital of the Llandican Empire. William got a job on a merchant ship, and stayed there for a few months until it got attacked by pirates which William could see they were well out numbered so William, hoping the pirates would spare him, or take him in for helping them, turned on the Merchants as the pirates began to board the ship. Once the Merchants were dead, William turned and looked at the pirates, keeping his sword up just in case. The pirates told William they’d offer him safety aboard their ship if he put his sword down, so he did. The pirates welcomed him aboard their ship. William didn’t want to be a pirate, but he figured it was his best chance at not getting stabbed or sinking with the merchants ship, so he joined them. He was planning on taking the first chance he could off of that ship, but to make sure they didn’t throw him off he had to help them with the boarding of other ships and the killing of many merchants. But then it came to an end one day, finally, when they were attacking a convoy and a military ship seemed to appear out of the blue. They put up a fight but were eventually overpowered. William, not wanting to get arrested grabbed a broken plank and jump into the ocean. Eventually he floated up on the side of a beach somewhere. He then, seeing the smoke of a settlement, headed in that direction. Once there he figured out he had ended up in a town in the far southwestern town of Roland’s Field.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To live a nice life and to just live in general, no matter what it took.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): William is strong enough to holds a sword, but quick on his feet. His height is average enough to not make him stand out in a crowd which makes his job a lot easier. He is very good at climbing and is able to climb walls as long as there are enough foot holds and ledges to grab onto. He’s quite skilled with a sword.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): He is often clouded by greed. He doesn’t know many ways to get money besides stealing it. He hasn’t been able to hold jobs for too long because he’s not very good at them. Doesn’t have very good people skills due to not knowing very many people. Not as strong as most but strong enough to hold a sword. Just educated enough to read and write basic words.

“Frak, frak,” William curses under his breathe every time he puts his weight on the broken ankle.
He had just stole a fair bit of cash from a fellow on the street but a guard had noticed him and called some buds to chase him. He tried getting up onto the rooftops so he could escape, which he did but at the cost of jumping off the roof into a dark alley which he landed on his ankle the wrong way and broke it. He managed to use the shadows in the alleys to hobble further from the guards. Once he figured he was clear he stepped back out on the main road. He headed towards his hide out he called home while trying to keep the pain at bay. He finally made it a laid down on his bed.
He decided he’ll sleep now and go to a hospital in the morning.

In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:
“Well, yuh’ gunna’ figh’ me or are yuh’ jus’ gunna’ si’ ‘ere?” the drunken man asked as he swayed around in the middle of the tavern, obviously very drunk. William sighs as he stands up, his back facing the drunken man but knowing exactly where he is.
“Well, I suppose you asked for it,” and as he said that he pivoted on his left foot, stepping forward with his right and putting all his power into the hit, aiming for the man’s jaw. His fist connects and the man crumples to the floor, knocked out cold. William shakes out his hand as he kneels down next to the drunken man’s unconscious body and searches his pockets for some coins. He find a small pouch and takes it as he walks out of the tavern, whistling happily.

Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:
“You want me to pull a hay cart across town when you have to perfectly able horses in a stable out back?” William asks, annoyed.
“Mhmm. Do you have a problem with that?” his boss asks snarkily. William thinks about how this man has quite a bit of money that he’s going to pay him for this job. Then he figures the jobs not worth it, but he stills wants the money. He walks up to his boss who is looking at a painting on his wall. William taps his shoulder.
“You’re still he-“ his boss turns around as he is cut off by Williams fist connecting with his jaw, making him stumble back. William then grabs his neck and smashes his head against the wall, knocking him unconscious. He searches his pockets and the room for any valuables then leaves.

William pulled the knife out of the belt loop and stabbed it into the man’s gut. He continued to stab him until he was lying dead in a pool of his own blood. People were screaming and running from the tavern as William slipped the knife back into his belt loop and ran home. He quickly told his mom that they had to leave, now. But his mother refused so William ran upstairs packed his things, including his father’s sword, and ran downstairs. He hugged his mother good bye as he ran towards the docks. He quickly bought a ticket onto the next ship and headed away from the island. But then it came to an end one day when they were attacking a convoy when a military ship seemed to appear out of the blue. They put up a fight but were eventually overpowered. After he arrived he began to wear a hood a lot so people couldn’t see his face, or recognize him.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To get enough riches to live a desirable life and to get a boat of his very own.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): Roland is quite strong, but not so bulky as to slow him down when he wants to run. His height is average enough to not make him stand out in a crowd which makes his job a lot easier. Personality wise if you just met him and were talking to him, you wouldn’t think he’d stab a knife into your gut just to get a few coins out of your pocket. He is very good at climbing and is able to climb walls as long as there are enough foot holds and ledges to grab onto. He’s gotten good and blending into his surroundings and hiding. He is quite skilled with a sword.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): He doesn’t tend to put his trust into anyone. He is often clouded by greed. He doesn’t know how to get money besides stealing it. He hasn’t been able to hold jobs for too long because he’s not very good at them.
