Anyone else at all encountering the problem with mods not showing up ingame despite their archives being in the 'Mods' folder?
I Downloaded Modloader using the adfly link.

there's no error code to copy or paste.
If you have "mods" in your mods folder remove them modloader doesnt fully work this way only forge can correctly load mods from the folder, if you need forge wait for the updated one to come out.

The mob spawner gui is only allowing me to change the mob being spawned in creative mode. In survival, the menu will come up and I can pick the mob, but when I exit the menu, it still spawns pigs.
Did you know that your the 15th person to post about spawnergui, maybe if people will one day learn to look back a few pages instead of repeating others the thread wouldnt be as long, though i do thank you, i hadnt found out about it working in creative mode, almost makes me wish i had put my world with cheats enabled to i could change the spawners gui.

this modloader version worked perfectly on my sisters pc, im downloading it with mc patcher, like i do with all my other mods

Yes modloader is fine its doing its thing but more player models requires using forge which isnt out yet and to set an example for the 12th time today the bolded piece if anyone experiences it that means you dont have forge installed that it is needed end of story.

Would you happen to have the link for this Forge program your talking about. I'm not exactly new to minecraft, I've been playing for about a year now, it's just everything gets updated all the time and new programs are made daily so to make life easier. However that isn't always the case. Either way, like I said before. I'll try to get this working, if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to use pistons and such to make a slightly less epic castle. lol
    Thanks again SharpAbyss

Forge isnt updated yet since it has modloader and audiomod in it but yea you could make some kind piston door using tripwires or some new system, i got bored and made one if you would like me to show you it but yea i know pistons can be boring im still waiting for optifine to get updated cause i hate depth fog

Alright, well I just pulled Ugo out of my mods folder because I was giving everyone a fair chance at their opinion. Now, I kind of feel like an ass because Minecraft started right up like nothing ever happened. it has to be something with Ugo or it's programing. It's the only Mod I have installed other then the obvious Modloader (which it requires to work) and they're arguing with each other like little children. haha! Well thank you SharpAbyss, it was very helpful.
No problem bro and im glad you were calm and nice about it, yea ugo having it in you mods folder youd need forge to load it thats why it wont work. *Edit* Im not saying it requires forge just that its my opinion that it would need it since forge has had dramatic change and now has modloader and audiomod implemented in it thats why i was saying.

The only other thing I have is Ugocraft which is in my mods folder. The report says nothing about Ugocraft so I assumed it wasn't that. Now I don't have ModLoaderMP because that also crashed my minecraft. I'll see if I can't get MP 1.3.1. If this fails I'll repost a new report and see what we can do from there.

it doesnt matter if the report doesnt say anything about a mod, modloader only picks up whats in the jar if it finds a zip or folder inside your mods folder is throws a hissyfit because it wasnt coded to sort through it thats what forge is used for without forge right now though it doesnt matter on that side note because it isnt out yet and if you did need it youd just have to hold off till it is

So where are you supposed to put them? I've never needed forge for either of them. Plus, Forge isn't updated for 1.3...

Anything that requires forge you just cant use right now so you just have to do without as for thing that require modloader you never put them in you mods folder, thats what forge does, that and the new forge has modloader and audio mod in it thats why it isnt out yet because ris is still perfecting the 1.3.1 version, as for mods they always get dropped into the .jar file, that is the class files do and thing like configs and such go in the .minecraft directory.

Alright I'm not sure if someone asked this already cause I dont have time to go through 10 pages of replies for just the past 48 hours.

I was installing world edit CUI and it worked in game, but i realized my zombe's mod wouldnt work anymore. So I tried installing zombe again and then world edit CUI wouldnt work anymore. So I read on the World edit CUI page that Zombe currently breaks/disables modloader. So I'm assuming when I installed World edit CUI it re enabled modloader and dissabled Zombe, then when I installed Zombe it disabled modloader and all the mods that it runs. I would like to know is there a fix for this? Or what causes it and will there be an update that fixes it?
Well of course there will be a fix but the only other way to to fix it or set it up is if you go into modloader and set code changs yourself till ris gets on it.

Like alot of people already said, modloaders runTick is wrong at the moment so you have to go in and edit it to work until ris can update that and fix it.

The only major problems I've hit was the "onTick" bug and that "onTickInGame" is not run. To fix the onTick bug I just edited ModLoader for now, I'm not going to distribute it since Risugami probably wouldn't want it and i'm sure he'll get a fix out soon.

Everything else seems to be working soundly on Modloader's side, which I was surprised at as i've heard 1.3.1 is a huge code shift. Good job Risugami! :D
its not really much of a shift code just as usually they changed some things added or removed others, sadly they didnt get to the mod api like they promised.
