I did just that, it's so weird.Quote from Xeadin
My hunch is that you didn't put the map file in the correct directory or you didn't extract the map files to the correct location. You should always remember to extract the map files to the saves folder within the .minecraft directory

Yes, I meant it could be added in a future update.Quote from Kovu
No, it's not being added.
Support doesn't mean added, means it has the capability to do so.
Anyway, I've been looking around the MC code a bit more, and found a few word-light rendering effects which I can tweak. Still, not much progress being made other than the initial screenies.
Mar 4, 2013CheesyHotDogPuff posted a message on Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders [compatible with Minecraft 1.12.2 via OptiFine]Posted in: Minecraft ModsQuote from TheCoryGuy
AN UPDATE! Weut!
Good job, Sonic. ;-)
ISSUES / CONCERNS
I remember reading somewhere that Sonic was working on making these shaders "compatible with Nvidia graphics". Can't remember where, but I'm curious if I am actually suffering from having that card.
I go from running Minecraft on a 32x32 pixel resolution texture pack, heavily modded, with (the latest) Optifine at a maximum of 109FPS after all chunks have loaded and I'm standing still. I pull about 60-80FPS / 30ish chunk updates when moving.
After installing all the shader mods properly, I get no more than 2FPS and 5 chunk updates (default texture pack, fast graphics, low view distance, tweaks applied).
I'm not devastated this doesn't work, but I'm just wondering if there are any other tips I should follow!
ALSO, is it possible to disable the constant fluttering of tree leaves?!
HARDWARE / INFO:
Intel Core 2 Duo T9800 @ 2.93GHz
8 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT (512MB dedicated video RAM), 32 CUDA Cores
Minecraft 1.4.7 (ALLOCATED 4GB RAM)
Thanks for the help!
Those specs just don't work that great for the shaders mod. You might need a graphics upgrade.

Support for more realistic lighting.
Lighting now interacts correctly with slabs and stairs.
OMGOMGOMG does this mean support for coloured glass?
