sad ,so very sad now you will be forced to pay rather than have a choice is this what mojang wants!!!!!!
I think that personally, if you want to keep a server running, instead of charging admission fees, which no one would want, they could, I dunno, get a job or something and I know if I see servers that don't make you pay for ANYTHING but cosmetics, I want that server to stay running, so I will donate to it without expecting a perk of any kind. Although you do have a point. Mojang has made one step towards only buying Minecraft ONCE, and we are going to see a LOT of changes based off of it.

1. Nobody will donate for a server. I don't know how Wikipedia is maintained, but servers are much less popular. They will close.
2. If you want 'equality' servers, find one! Other people like to be OP and unequality. The world isn't all equal!
3. Server quitting will lead to plaeyr quitting. Imagine if that happened to Mineplex!
4. Cosmetic kits? What is that?! Kits are when you get needed items. Not coloured names!
1. I will donate to a server if that can help them keep running. Of course servers will close, but those will be servers that have owners who see MInecraft as a way to mooch more money off players in the offtime. Those devoted to making a server fun should not charge money to do it.
2. "equality servers" don't exist. I have checked every server list available. If it is public, it offers donator perks.
3. If players quit because they can't bribe servers to let them win, then why the heck do real minecrafters care! Good riddance to bad users and more bandwidth for us!
4. Cosmetic kits are, as you said, things like colored names and titles that have no effect on the gameplay. If a kit gives you needed items, you can still get it with in-game currency. EULA hasn't and won't ban that. And thank you very much for emphasizing this point, legopatch. I don't think I could have said it better.

I don't think Mojang wants a user who pays money to be good at the game.
If I ever can play Minecraft well, it won't be because I bribed the servers to make me good at it. And now no one else will either. Go EULA!
And Mojang stated SPECIFICALLY that you can do things like keep everyone who doesn't pay in an empty room without the ability to break blocks, or other forms of admission fees. I would pay to get on the server, but I would not pay to make myself better than everyone else on the server with real money.
And to you hypixel, cause I know you are out there, I WANT THE VAMPIRE CLASS IN TNT WIZARDS NOW!!!

1.Grab a command block
2.Grab and place an anvil
3. Put the command block in thee first anvil slot
4.Click on the text box where it says "Command Block" and delete the text.
5.Put in the name you want the command block to say things as.
6.take the new command block from the last slot and place it.
7.put in the command box /say I think the cargo release is broken.
8.When you power it, it should show in the chat the name you named the command block saying I think the cargo release is broken.
Up to this point I am certain this works, but this next bit might only be in 1.8
9.instead of renaming the command block a name, rename it @p.
10. In theory, this will make it says things as the nearest player on the world to the command block. everything else is the same.
Hope this helped!Oh, and by the way, if this is for a map, and that map is 1-player, I would like to try it for youtube later. Always good to see another sprouting redstoner!

Well, you know, I am the leader of a build team. If you would like to join the team then we could make your map how you want it with you involved along with our other maps.

/tp @a[score_dummy=2,score_dummy_min=1] x y z
/tp @a[score_dummy=0,score_dummy_min=-1] x y z
If not, then I will want to have a look at the map myself and fix it up for you, and tell you what's wrong.
