Nope,it doesn't not effect the spawn rate of the Iron Golems and good luck getting 'em irons

I think the Death counter mod could help you with that,expect they didn't update it yet.

This is my opinions,if you want to create a village,build them on ocean.You just need to collect few resources like:
1.Cobblestone
2.Woods(any types)
Ok you need to collect cobblestone then burn to stone.Collect cobblestone about 11 full stacks of them,then collect about 20 stacks of woods.Then you just place stone on the ocean and keep going till u feel satisfied then build the base of the village.After building the base,put fences around the stone to make them look pretty and keep the villagers from falling down to the ocean.After that craft some oak woods and slabs then start building your villagers house.Next step is to get villagers,you can find villagers or cheating but cheating with trade like u sacrifices 2 diamonds for 2 villagers spawn egg.Then enjoy yourself at ur new village!And I'll suggest you to use shaders pack to make the village look awesome.It only takes me 4 hours of non stop playing to build it.
BELIEVE ME IF I'VE CREATED THIS AND FEEL SATISFIED WITH IT.

Hello guys,today i make this post to get some ideas to make a house,because all the house i created for the last 2 years get bored, and i need some bright ideas like an adventure kinda house?Or some kind of a tree house?Sorry for my bad grammar/spelling.
