Oct 30, 2013You can't run 1.7.2 mods on 1.5.2, but you can install 1.5.2 on the new launcher, just create a new profile, choose Minecraft 1.5.2 as the version then click create.Once it created,go to the .Minecraft ,install Forge (Don't use the installer!)for Minecraft 1.5.2 ,choose the 1.5.2 jar file not 1.7.2,then Forge will create a folder named mod, download the mod and drop it in the folder called mod.Glad to be helping, good luck!Posted in: Mods Discussion
Oct 30, 2013What you want to do is :Posted in: Mods Discussion
1.Make sure your internet is properly stable.
2.Delete your Minecraft files and reinstall it.
3.Download the latest Forge for Minecraft 1.5.2.
4.Install Forge like normal.
6.Don't disturb your internet connection, let the FML set up your Minecraft environment
If all of that didn't work then do what the guy above me said.

Okay, that's good to hear, thank you . But to make the game generate new areas of the world do you have to travel a lot? I like the idea of traveling to see new goodies added by mods, but I don't want to to travel for hours to find new stuff.
You can always use boat and horse, they'll save a lots of time.:)
Pig as well.
Oct 30, 2013It also depends on your computer specs,If you can give us your computer specs then it'll would be useful.Posted in: Mods Discussion
As far as i know, mods do effect your gameplay but it doesn't effect a lot.
Please pm me if you can get your computer specs.
Oct 30, 2013Download the latest Forge Installer, right click it then chooses open with then select Java(TM)Platform. If that didn't work then you might have installed the wrong java platform.Try downloading the latest java platform from their website.Glad to be helping.Good luck!Posted in: Mods Discussion
Oct 30, 2013Don't use Magic Laucher,i've many experiences with Magic Laucher,Trust me just install forge and put the mods in the mods folder.Posted in: Mods Discussion
Magic Laucher can't fix mods ids conflicts, with Forge you can go to your Minecraft directory and find .txt file named ids conflicts then it'll give you the recommend ids to change.

My opinion is that there's plenty of mods out there that can offer pretty much the same thing as 1.7.2 offers. Biome mods add new biomes and trees, there's mods that have stained glass. Most everyone is looking forward to playing on 1.7.2 as soon as possible, but Minecraft just underwent some massive changes that require the Forge team to do a lot of code rewriting on their part to get things working.
A lot of work goes into getting Forge ready for new Minecraft versions, and a lot of work goes into getting mods updated to new versions as well. Especially in this case, where practically every mod is going to have to undergo at least a partial rewrite in order to update.
It isn't something that just happens overnight. It takes a lot of time and effort, and that's on top of all of the developers (Forge team or otherwise) actual lives, which obviously come first in nearly all cases.
Best thing to do right now is to just be patient and understanding, and if you really want to play Minecraft with mods, use 1.6.4 or an earlier version. Like I said before, there's not really much in 1.7.2 that can't be achieved through other mods that already exist for 1.6.4.
Of course, there's always the option of playing 1.7.2 without mods.
Wow,thank you for keeping me motivated, now i'll play 1.7.2 without mods. Thanks for long reply.I'll play on creative to build some stuffs. Can you please answer my thread please?I need some ideas to build a house.Quote from GrygrFlzr
If you came back because the 1.7.2 update seemed interseting, why would you need mods? Play vanilla 1.7.2 while waiting for mods to update.
