Pipi, MineCraft's ram usage usually jumps, if you're using the default amount of allocated ram, you shouldn't be modding your MineCraft.
To fix the no rain being there, it was answered 2 posts above your first one.
I have this mod fully working with various other mods. I was suffering from ram spikes crashing my game until I allocated over 4 gigs of ram to MineCraft. The crashes I was experiencing are similar to what you're experiencing, there is a tool floating around to help with getting the crash log.
I am having a small problem, whether I use the default texture pack or painterly, rain drops don't show, but the particles effect of it making contact with the ground is there. I'm not sure if this is because I'm using TooManyItem's rain button, so I'll edit this post if a natural rain storm is fine or not.
Also a small request, is it possible to make things more biome compliant? I notice things picked up by the tornado turn to greyscale and the leaf particles can look out of place in most areas. It's not a big deal, but I feel it would add a bit more polish to the mod.
Also the wind is too strong, but people have already commented on that.

Thanks a lot, sorry if I asked something that has been answered before.
Nope, would just be to much of a hassle... Plus what about newbies? They start day four of there survival and they just get murdered horribly by a tsunmani... Would that be fun do you think?
Sounds like a really good idea that Jeb should push into 1.8 before it officially releases. Shouldn't be too hard to make at all, I bet it could be done in just a couple of minutes.
Hi everyone. Been following this mod for a while now, eagerly waiting an ATI version. I have an untouched, freshly downloaded minecraft 1.2_02, with an ATI HD5770 card. When I try to run the installer I get this error
No minecraft.jar supplied.
Would you like to use the default minecraft.jar (Y/N)? Y

Having the same issue after a clean install with Wild Grass.
The grass variation would look a lot better if Notch would add some different plants to the game, such as shrubs or something. Also mixing up the tree generator a little bit to allow pine trees, as seen here: viewtopic.php?t=26733
Some small changes such as these would go a long way into making all the Biomes a little more interesting and worth looking at. Though I'm sure Notch has tons of plans to expand Biomes as the year goes on, baby steps as they say and he already did the most difficult part.

Because people like me have a sense of humor and know when to lighten up.

It shouldn't be hard to find epic mountains on this seed, they're practically at every turn, at least from what I experienced.
All these mountains were connected together, it was quite fun exploring, I hope you find some neat things I wasn't able to see.
