Well, there is Hamachi which alows them (through many minutes of wtf before it lets you connect) to connect to you Open to Lan minecraft world :DAt the same time I thought of that issue, so I want to add that ??? gamemode to make it so that you can play with only 2 people and have hours of fun

Ever get tired or annoyed by server lag? Ever wanted to PvP with friends in the comfort of you home through lan? Where lag is none existant? LOOK NO FURTHER FELLOW SAD PERSON! I am developing a PvP minecraft map that is based around having multiple people, or just a few. It is currently in development but soon I will release more than a few screen shots and videos of whats to come.
*ATTENTION. I have decided to make the ??? a completely separate map and shall work on that and come back to this later, I will probably have to restart this as some of the things I want to do require much more research and time and probably more space, so I will for now make the ??? Gamemode and post a link to it here. Sorry for delay guys :/ *
It will have 3 maps (When im finished, and I will actually put this up for download after I am completely finished the first map) when its complete, and 4 different gamemodes. Then I will add more Maps and more Gamemodes as the world begins to grow in popularity. Here are the planned gamemodes and maps:
Maps:
Land of Fulserf (temp name): A small map ment for aound 16 people, 4 teams battle for control over the blacksmith and for the enemy flags.
City (needs name, planned) A large map based around capturing and controling objectives for points. In the end the team with the most points wins.
Frozen tundra (Temp name, Planned) An extreemly large map based around one team infultrating the other teams base and taking their objective, then bringing it back to their base before time runs out.
Ragnarok (Planned) A normal sized map in the sky, based around a massive battle to the death.
Note: that all the maps will have their own Objectives,Teams, and Resource packs, but can also play pure kills for the win (Team deathmatch)
Gamemodes:
Slaughter (Ready to play) Slaughter is your basic Deathmatch gamemode based around free for all kill eachother for score, with all the shops functional for each map.
Team Slaughter (Ready to play) Basicly Slaughter but with Teams, more classes are available in Team slaughter than in normal Slaughter.
Objectives (Massive work in progress, but making massive progress every day!) Each map has its own objectives based in different periods of time, City is ofcourse modern, where as Land of fulerf is in the past, in the days of yor. The maximum classes known are alowed on Objectives. Remember, in objectives pure kills can still win!
??? (A gamemode that I want to add is a zombie apocolipse where your kills are currency, and every zombie and player counts as a point)
Now that i've told you about the basic idea of the map, let me show you shops and special mobs!
Shops: (finished) Basicly where you get all your goodies. Especially horses . But not all the shops are avalible right out the gate of your castle, some are only for those strong enough (or stupid enough) to try and control it.
The Blacksmith is a great example of that:
How do you get something to pay the shopkeepers? Simple! everyone starts with 3 emeralds, and when they die guess what they drop! Gather many emeralds to get exciting loot! Or spend it on food because your starving... Depending on what you need!
Special mobs: (almost done!) On top of normal mobs spawning in the shadows, the nether portals take you to the legendary mobs in the maps nether regions (Every map has the same nether bosses unfortunetly because the nether portals lead to the same portal in the nether for some reason... but whatever! And this may change with extreem distance in blocks put between maps anyway!) These mobs will spawn to protect the loot you spawn from pressure plates behind alters. One mob needs 4 people to fight it and get its loot!
That just about sums up the entire map, more info to come soon! Do note that the maps will have indiviual resource packs that will be made soon and be put into the .zip with the map when downloaded. The map will require no mods at all!This is completely scripted from the minecraft command blocks and commands. So all you need to do is download the .zip, put the resource packs in the resource packs folder and the world in the saves folder and your good to go (if useing for server please post server IP in a message and message me and I will add it to a list called Servers in this post, and I dont know how you would make each map use different packs, but thats your issue ) I alow all people to use this in videos/servers as they please so long as I get credit for it and (please) you send me the IP of the server and the servers name for me to add to the IP list. I will have a server when this is done mainly for testing new content, it will be glitchy im sure so thats where the testing comes in . Really looking forward to the day that this is done. Any support (such as resource pack ideas, cause really I'm not good at textures) is greatly thanked and I would love the support, just inbox me on the forums if you make some ideas.

note that they mixed alfheim and SAO with the seed that Kaya gives to Kirito. so it would be more of a 2 extra dimentions that you enter through an item that you make/buy and so minecraft normal world we would change to make the "human" world, and you go to the seed and gun gail through the items that you would wear on your head or something. just a thought.
Not to burst anyone's bubble here, they have a mod or something to do this, Im sure of it, because I played an adventure map called "Ender-bent" and the blacksmith would sell the nether stars... Idk where to find this, but it exists, unless blacksmiths realy DO sell nether stars... must have killed a wither ya?good god I replyed to a dead post *facepalm*

hey, when you put a link you should put it right at the download page and not a wiki because Im not sure how i can download the undead killing map (i perfer the trusty pistol ) if there is no direct link. just a heads up.
if they stop this mod i will be rather pissed, as will most other map makers/developers. so i bet they wouldn't dare let minecraft outdo them at this point ninja. this mod is amazing, end of story. sooo... about a page online that has maps... cause im not going to risk my comp crashing just opening new adventurecrafts till it downloads correctly... and guru, I need yo help, I will p.m. you and give you credit in the thing, but at anyrate, maps please.
ya.. the link you gave me brings me to the page with descriptions of maps and stuff but every one that sounds nice that i click on doesnt give me a link to download sooo... idk... and ya my minecraft updateing process does the same thing, and when it is downloaded it usualy leavs out the sound files, which annoys me cause then i need to get it form the old minecraft... this game is as glitchy as its mods hung? lol and i will try your map sence you helped me so :3 but i cant download the kingdom hearts one i saw or the loz shadow gate that i wanted, nor the zelda adventure... this is very annoying. :'(
ok, so I want to download a map, but every time I try it goes to like, 3.55 MB and then stops and is stuck there and I cant get it to download, then I cant even hit the X to close it and my ctrl + alt + delete for task manager isnt opening for me to close it. I'm not worryed about the manager, just give me a link to download the maps and put them into the maps folder please.
