...Not really sure where to start. Maybe Minecraft stuff.
In MineCraft I like building large structures, like the Majora's Moon in my sig, and minecart transit and... stuff.
I'm an artist/cartoonist. ...and I imagine it's quite obvious that I'm not used to talking about myself.
I'm a big Gamer, and I plan to be a game designer. Already made a simple game for a senior project back in High School that my friends tell me is very addicting! ...Not as addicting as minecraft of course.
I also have a Deviantart account.
I don't update art too much, so lately I've been posting screenshots of minecraft. Not just random snaps of course. Pictures of structures I've built and natural landscapes I found pretty, like the ones in my sig.
My skin is currently just human me.
I also recently created a skin for a zombie from Plants Vs. Zombies that I sometimes use. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa61 ... 0552PM.png
If I can ever get my texture pack to work, that'll be the zombie's skin.
Topic: furry-cons. Who has ever been to one and what was they experience like?
Never been to one.
Only convention I ever went to was a Video Game/Anime Con
They had some awesome costumes there. When I was in a line I spent my time posting the name of every character I recognized online.
I think at least a few of the con-goers were furries. I know one had a full suit.
Also bought a purple fox tail and ears. I did not expect that!
Perfect because that's my character's species/fur color!
I wore 'em only once I got up the courage after seeing half the convention with a similar set.
Favorite quote I overheard there: "Watch your tail! ...I never thought I'd ever say that to another person."
This next part doesn't have to do with furries in any way, but I got to shake hands with Charles Martinet, voice of Mario when I was there! Twice!
Best. Day. Ever.
Only time I did get hate so far was because I drew my furry character in a MineCraft fan art pic instead of Steve (AKA, Default Skin, AKA Mr. Minecraft).
Then they proceeded to entertain me with a story about how their life is ruined because a furry plays minecraft and now they will have to burn their computers. Quite entertaining, I keep telling this story to my friends. :biggrin.gif:
Being internet-savvy, I just laughed, didn't reply, and hid their posts. One mustn't feed the trolls.
1. Because I AM. Because I SAID SO. Because COURAGE WOLF SAID SO.
2. I'm working on a Plants Vs Zombies Minecraft Texture Pack (For the lulz)
3. I've spoken to the guy that made Tales of Monkey Island. ...Through E-mail. Not in person.
4. Or Else.
I wonder if I would have gotten an account on this forum if I wasn't failing at making my texture pack? Yeah probably.
Anyway, as you have gathered I'm having trouble with my texture pack.
Every one that I download works, but when I unzip a working file and re-zip it it doesn't, so I assume the problem is there.
I'm considering just handing off the files to someone who knows how to make it work, and have them compress it.
Any advice?
I'm using a MacBook if that makes any difference.
This seemed like a good thread to post this since I saw someone post with a similar problem above.

I don't, but just because it's so dang hard to get the tail/ears to look good on a flat surface.
Also welcome. Guess I wasn't the new guy for this thread for long!
Artist, eh? I am too. I don't claim to be very skilled, but it's not too bad.
I don't take commissions unlike you. I'm too lazy.
