I'm still on the setup chapter where it describes how to import existing projects into your Eclipse workspace. I selected the folder that is holding all my files but I get an error saying:
I made my own skin, but it's been years since I've seen the original file. Old computers broke down, I got new ones, and I have a pile of USB drives it might be on.
Is there any way I can get a .png of my own skin off my profile so I can edit it?
I heard there was a way to 'grab' a block and add it to your hotbar in creative mode. Since I accidentally burned down my house, this feature would be very useful to fill in the large holes with the correct blocks without having to dig through the list of blocks for the right one. Any idea what button that is?
I was working on my house at night in this game when I suddenly heard a moan. I chalked it off as a zombie I couldn't see but then it just kept going and going in one long drawn-out moan that made my blood run cold. I stopped the music I was listening to and it kept going for a few more moments. The only mob nearby that I can see is a chicken. Did Mojang add some kind of special Halloween scare? New cave ambiance? (Heck I'm not even sure if it was Minecraft making that noise. But I'm fairly sure it was coming through my headphones and other than iTunes and Firefox it was the only program running that makes noise.)
Punched the chicken as an experiment. Nothing unusual.
After speaking with a friend, it seems that the reason the command blocks don't work is because I had version 1.3.2 instead of unofficial weekly update 12w37a.
I'm trying to run the new Team Fortress 2 Dustbowl map that SethBling and Hypixel made. After messing with it for a bit I found the reason I couldn't get the features to work was because command blocks weren't enabled.
Is there any way to enable them when playing offline, or do I need to start up my own server just to do so?
(I have the materials to host my own server, but I haven't used them in so long that it's horribly out of date and doesn't work.)
(Yes, I am aware that playing a TF2 map by myself would be kinda pointless. I just want to explore.)

I created Majora's Moon in Minecraft some years ago. That's probably it.
@ dsandys: Thanks. I'll give that a shot

I want to make a world map on one of the walls of my base, but I never know what size to make the individual maps. Any suggestions? 1:1, 1:2, etc

I read some other tutorials before coming here and kept getting stuck on the setting up the workspace part.
I came here and read yours and said to myself: "Son of a b*ch, it's that easy!?" Thank you, Sir!
Now hopefully I can keep moving forward without too many more problems.

Got a question of my own:
I'm still on the setup chapter where it describes how to import existing projects into your Eclipse workspace. I selected the folder that is holding all my files but I get an error saying:
Invalid project description.
C:\Users\ChaosDX1\Desktop\Minecraft Modspace overlaps the workspace location: C:\Users\ChaosDX1\Desktop\Minecraft Modspace
I think I may have misunderstood a step somewhere.
EDIT: Fixed the problem.

@ Adrian: I didn't find forge sources for 1.8 but 1.7 has it.
Go to files.minecraftforge.net and look for a button that looks like "</>" with "src" below it.

I'll have to remember that fire one.
Edit: Hm, actually I can't get that fire thing to work. Oh well, I'll just be more careful

No idea why that is, and I don't expect you to know either so I'm not blaming you.
