    Unless FC removed it, 1.5 was the version that added ability to stack snow cover by adding multiple snow layers (crafted like a slab recipe) on the same block. This actually gets even finer control to the height, with 8 different layers (and therefore heights) possible. Again, not sure if FC removed it, but its worth trying quickly to see if that feature is still there and gives the aesthetic look you are after.

    First, I think you meant "intended for stone" instead of wood.

    Second, the problem is that the diamond saw is one of the things on the do not ever suggest list, so that means it is automatically NOT a good example.

    That won't work. Both Forge and FL edit the same base classes in some cases, which means one or the other will always break if you install them. Just wait for DJoslin to have the time to figure out Forge and it will be fine then.

    Stack limit is defined for each individual item, not what it is stored in. What you are asking is impossible without a significant overhaul of the Minecraft item stacking system, which falls under the general idea of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    About vanilla villager repopulation in vanilla Minecraft: the maximum population of a village is based on the number of doors leading to an "enclosed" space (see http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Villages#Expanding_and_creating_villages for information). If there is room for more villagers to be born, and the villagers are in a good mood (ie no one died to a zombie recently), they procreate.

    About BTW villager repopulation: As was said, villagers reproduce through diamonds now, like livestock with certain crops.

    Last it was mentioned, FC was planning on keeping BTW updated to the most recent MC version, just no new tech will be added.

    RTH is purposely vague because FC doesn't have much worked out with it yet. The best place to find information about it is in the various dev diary threads on the official BTW forums.

    So what am I missing?


    Copy the file BTWConfig.txt from the downloaded zip file into your base Minecraft directory. And maybe next time try looking at the ReadMe file included with the download that also explains this.
