@Cerroz (ME NOT KNOW HOW TO MULTI-QUOTE)
Don't take it seriously. its just a yes or no.

It's simple, just click the text that says "Multi-quote". Your poll should have some middle-ground "grey area" choices. As not all opinions on the idea will be a flat out yes or no.

The firefly itself is fine, just not the lag-potential moving lighting.

This just sounds like yet another classic "human mob that kinda acts like the player" idea.

I don't see too much of a point in this, but might use this anyway, despite the vagueness.

posted a message on Things You Hate In Movies

There's so many types of corny scenes that movies need to stop using.

*normal guy walks into a place he doesn't fit in*

*music suddenly stops and everyone looks at him*

Yes, very believable. Everyone was focused so hard on other things, but still managed to break that just to stare at someone. Yes, that's right secondary characters. That one guy that walked in deserved that much attention. It's also a good thing someone halted the good music for that arbitrary reason. That happens all the time in real life!

Or everyone picking on a new guy because he's... new. And that's it... Remember MC Forums, never be new, as that rewrites your DNA into being an inferior person. Movies thought me this, so it must be true.

I probably am just making a projection here.

Particularly on social media for Minecraft, I've seen a lot of posts what I think are people complaining about the game, and that makes me feel that I'm wasting my time playing it; it demotivates me...

Complaints are sometimes because of the fault of the person, not the game.

    Complaints I've seen include:

    1. Mojang is being lazy and is decreasingly caring about their blockbuster game (updates are taking increasingly longer to make and have less content/time spent). Aaaand? Things take time? Why is that a crime? Updating a game doesn't take a single day.
    2. The combat of Minecraft 1.9 has ruined the game, and has worsen even more in 1.9.1 pre-releases. Your opinion.
    3. Minecraft 1.9 was also officially released with serious bugs, like 1.8, despite Mojang spending months after October focusing on mainly bug fixing. Sure, but still, there's always gonna be bugs. Especially with the kind of Java engine Minecraft runs on.
    4. Not enough building blocks in the game. Mojang believes that "creativity feeds on limitations" (Searge on Twitter). Opinion.
    5. No stairs, slabs, etc. for desirable blocks (andesite, stained clay, wool, etc.). Okay, not the end of the world though.
    6. No birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, nor dark oak variants to most wooden blocks (bookshelves, chests, trapdoors, etc.). Okay, this doesn't worsen the game.
    7. Mojang isn't listening to the Minecraft Community, and they're doing things that the community doesn't want. Proof? Do you know how many people said "omgggg we need combat changes!" and then got them, and then cried about them when they came out.
    8. Minecraft's world is too empty and boring to explore. They're aren't enough pre-generated interests, despite Searge's creation of the Structure Block in 1.9. Opinion.
    and much more... Riiiight.

Then why did you bother... making... a thread? Honestly.

Ehhh... I don't see too big of a reason for the damage buffs. I'm on board for the climbing/swimming improvements. The tentacle stuff just seems weird and unnecessary.

posted a message on Make Slimes Spawn in all Chunks
    Quote from Simbbadda»

If they did that, they would be breaking every single slime farm in existence

That's not a good point. The farms are a subjective thing that players choose to do. That's like saying "No, we can't change the tint of red wool, it would ruin so many player-created wool barns!"

Slimes already spawn in swamps depending on the moon phase.

Good on paper, but not in a "the way Minecraft's engine handles things" kind of way. You'd be slooowly wading around exploring these tings.
